주변 환경을 감시하도록 구축된 센서 네트워크는 다양한 감지 작업을 수행하는 센서들로 구성되어 있으며 다양한 분야에서 적용되고 있다. 센서 네트워크는 가정 자동화, 화재감지 및 보안 분야 등기 다양한 응용분야에서 광범위하게 사용되고 있으며, 적절한 기능을 가지는 센서의 개발과 적합한 응용을 위한 네트워크 구축이 활발하게 추진되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 작업자의 안전을 위협하는 요소가 많은 작업현장에 센서 네트워크를 구축하여 각종 설비 현황을 모니터링 하도록 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 작업환경을 모니터링 하는 센서는 온도, 습도 데이터를 수집하여 싱크 노드에게 전송하고, 싱크노드와 연결된 서버는 데이터를 수집하여 사용자 인터페이스를 통해 작업자에게 제공한다. 또한, 작업현장에서 발생하는 디지털 데이터는 작업의 효율성을 높일 수 있도록 센서네트워크를 경유하여 전달된다. 제안하는 센서 네트워크는 음식물 폐기업체에 적용되어 음식 폐기물의 온도와 습도를 모니터링하고 업체에 출입하는 트럭의 중량 정보를 전송하여 작업의 편의성을 증대한다.

Today rapid change in information and economy takes the changing of office design. It is very important to understand about the needs of employees and working environment. To promote the efficiency and comfort of the working environment, diverse employee's working characteristic and individual requirements have been observed. To build a good working environment, flexibility of space and communication between employees and employer in the office are very important. Due to the business growth, "K" financial company requires more working space. The design idea for the main areas such as the executive officer's room, the reception, the elevator hall, the conference rooms and the working areas in this project targets the harmony of the functionality and the aesthetic. This project could be able to deliver more convenient and comfortable working place by adopting three main concepts, which are modern, simplicity and moderation.

This paper examines the relationship between working women's health status and working environment. The result of this study is that working women's health is effected on their working environment. The data used in the present study was collected from 7,091 organized women worker by survey conducted in 1987. The independent variables chosen for analysis were job classification, working condition, women workers' characteristics, job satisfaction and health management. The findings of this study can be summarized as follows; First, technical experts had higher health status than other jobs. Manufacturizing workers had lower health status than other jobs. Second, the women who were 20-24 years old, not married and started working at 19 and less year and worked during 3-5 years had lower health status than others. Third, the women who worked bad condition were not healthy. It was bad working condition that working hour was 11-12 per day and did not have holiday and monthly wage was 100,000-200,000 won. Fourth, the women who satisfied the job had higher health status than the women who dissatisfied the job. Fifth, it showed high health status that the women worked the place where health was well managed.

The purpose of this study is to discuss issues on how locality can be revealed through landscape planning and design especially in the local environment. Over the past decade, there has been substantial increase in architects and landscape architects working internationally. There are many that believe this may lead to a unifying global brand of design that overlooks the identity and specificity of place. This lead us to think opportunities and challenges for designers working internationally to understand and create a unique sense of place. Relations between contemporary design trend and local identity will be studied through case studies. Design strategies and languages on revealing locality will be also discussed with the Suncheon Education Culture Center project.

To determine the optimum ventilation systems during long tunnel excavation, the velocity vector profile and the contaminant's distribution at working place are studied using 2-D, 3-D numerical analysis. The main results can be summarized as follow; In case of long tunnels, blower-exhaust-mixture types which enable to use soft blast ducts is most appropriate in terms of ventilation and economical efficiency. Of the same ventilation types, ventilation efficiency has a difference according to blast ducts and the distance between fan and working place. The 3-D numerical result shows that arranging blower and exhaust ducts in the right and left corners of the tunnel respectively is effective to discharge contaminant. The result of the real measurement shows that CO concentration can be reduced to below 50 ppm, which is regulation value, as 16-minutes fan operation goes on.

Global land related datasets such as land use, land cover, vegetation cover percentage, forest cover percentage, are part of important global geospatial environmental datasets for global change studies. Since land cover varies place by place, continental production of dataset is a usual approach. Western academically developed countries have some projects to describe land cover related information in digital form using remote sensing technology in African, American continent and Oceania. In this paper, the author introduce his initiative to coordinate Asian scientists in order to develop land related dataset of Asia for our better understanding of the environment of Asia and for contribution to the development of global dataset. This paper explains activities by Land Cover Working Group (LCWG) of the Asian Association on Remote Sensing(AARS), Data and Information System(DIS) sub-committee of Japan national committee for the International Geosphere and Biosphere Program(IGBP), and the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing(ISPRS) Working Group IV/6 on Global databases supporting environmental monitoring.

This project was designed to create good interior design of lobby and cafeteria in the D company. To promote the efficiency and comfort of the working environment diverse employee's working characteristic and individual requirements have been observed. Cafeteria is the important place for employee to have a rest time. And to build a good impression about company, lobby is the very important place to visiter. In this project, the design idea for the lobby and cafeteria targets harmony of the functionality and the aesthetic with the modern and simple design. This project could be able to deliver more convenient and comfortable cafeteria by adopting three concepts like flexibility, functionality and simplicity.

The purpose of this study was to examine working mothers'parenting behavior as related to job characteristics, day care quality and psychological well-being. The subjects of this study were 202 working mothers of 3-to-6 year old children enrolled in day care centers. Data were gathered via questionnaires responded by mothers. As results, both mother's psychological well-being and parenting behaviors were positively related to job characteristics such as husband's support and work place policy and day care Quality Most significantly, the relations between husband's support as well as day care Quality and mother's behaviors were completely mediated via mother's psychological well-being. This study demonstrated that working mothers'psychological well -being is an important mediating variable in predicting positive child-rearing behaviors.

With the ever-increasing important of high-speed information in society as we move towards the 21 st century. Interior design and it's working condition has been changed a great deal included a sort of each special character and make a difference against the others. The port, differently from general working place, is a closed area to execute security, customs, and quarantine procedures. The loading and unloading is being done differently by cargoes, ships, berths, and equipments. To load and unload a lot of equipments and different types of labor are required, in which work flow is very complicated. As above mentioned the port is very unique and deteriorated working place including danger. Now frequency of cargo handling accidents in port is highest for the second time among all industries. The purpose of this study is to propose ways to analyze and establish the preventive measure for cargo handling accidents in port. We have collected 45 accidents happened at Incheon Port during the period from 2007 to 2009. And the result of analysis, we proposed the new safety management system and safety education to reduce cargo handling accidents and to promote the quality of cargo handling in Incheon Port. Within the framework of effective safety management of cargo handling in port, this study will help to revise and establish system, education, and standard working manual with respect to the port loading and unloading system.
