청년 고용 문제, 눈높이 때문인가? (High and Downwardly Rigid Reservation Wages are Responsible for the Youth Joblessness?)

  • 본 연구는 청년층의 고용문제가 눈높이 조절의 실패에 기인한다는 주장을 "한국노동패널"을 이용한 실증 분석을 통해 비판적으로 검토하였다. 의중임금의 동태적인 변화를 통한 분석을 통해, 눈높이 격차가 존재하는 것은 사실이지만, 기간의 경과에 따라 시장임금을 고려하여 의중임금이 조정되고 있음을 밝혔다. 또한 노동시장 이행경험을 노동시장 진입과정을 넘어서 노동시장 정착과정으로 확장하여, 직업경력에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것은 첫 일자리를 획득하기까지의 소요기간이 아니라 첫 일자리의 질과 불안정한 취업경험임을 밝혔다. 이는 청년층의 비취업 문제가 좋은 일자리만을 선호하기 때문이라기보다는 괜찮은 일자리의 감소와 노동시장의 이중화라는 노동시장의 구조적인 문제에 기인함을 시사한다.

부분 자율주행자동차의 운전자 모니터링 시스템 안전기준 검증을 위한 운전 행동 분석 -1부- (Driving behavior Analysis to Verify the Criteria of a Driver Monitoring System in a Conditional Autonomous Vehicle - Part I -)

  • This study aimed to verify the criteria of the driver monitoring systems proposed by UNECE ACSF informal working group and the ministry of land, infrastructure, and transport of South Korea using driving behavior data. In order to verify the criteria, we investigated the safety regulations of driver monitoring systems in a conditional autonomous vehicle and found that the driver monitoring measures were related to eye blinks times, head movements, and eye closed duration. Thus, we took two different experimental data including real-world driving and simulator-based drowsy driving behaviors in previous studies. The real-world driving data were used for analyzing blink times and head movement intervals, and the drowsiness data were used for eye closed duration. In the real-world driving study, 52 drivers drove approximately 11.0 km of rural road (about 20 min), 7.9 km of urban road (about 25 min), and 20.8 km of highway (about 20 min). The results suggested that the appropriate number of blinks during the last 60 seconds was 4 times, and the head movement interval was 35 seconds. 빈곤의 동태적 분석: 빈곤지속기간과 그 결정요인 (Poverty Dynamics in Korea: Poverty Duration and its Determinants)

  • 본 연구는 한국노동패널조사, 1998-2003 자료를 이용하여 빈곤지속기간과 이에 관련된 요인을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 발견에 따르면 우리나라에서는 빈곤에 진입한 사람들의 4분의 3 정도가 2년 안에 빈곤을 탈피하는 정도로 매우 활발한 빈곤탈출양상이 나타난다. 그러나 한 시점에서의 빈곤층을 볼 경우에는 장기빈곤층이 무시할 수 없는 비중을 차지한다. 5년 이상의 장기 빈곤층이 전체 빈곤층의 50%를 차지하며 10년 이상의 최장기 빈곤층도 25%를 넘어선다. 반복빈곤을 분석에 포함하는 경우 장기빈곤층의 비중은 더욱 증가한다. 장기빈곤층의 대표적 집단은 노인가구이다. 장기빈곤의 경향이 강한 다음 집단은 비노인 여성가구주 가구이다. 90년대 후반 경제위기 이래로 근로빈곤층의 증가가 커다란 사회적 관심의 대상이 되었지만 이들의 주력을 차지하는 비노인 남성가구주 가구의 대다수는 일시적으로 빈곤을 경험하는 단기빈곤층인 것으로 보인다.

종합 병원 간호사의 근골격계질환 실태 조사 (Survey of Musculoskeletal Disorders Among Nurses in a General Hospital)

  • The objective of this study is to examine the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders(MSDs) among nursing personnels. A self-reporting survey adapted from Nordic questionnaires was used as diagnostic tool, and conducted for 162 nurses working for a general hospital. The survey was performed five times every three months during a year. The MSDs were defined by using three criteria, depending upon the frequency, duration and pain intensity of the symptoms. The results showed that the 12-month prevalences of MSDs at any body site by criterion 1, 2, 3 were 56.8%, 53.7%, 45.7%, respectively, and that the shoulder was the most susceptible to MSDs, followed by knee/lower leg, lower back, hand/wrist, neck, ankle/feet, finger, etc. Only one statistically significant risk factor of departments or units was identified through the Chi-square test. The prevalence of MSDs was the highest in intensive care unit, second in surgical ward, while the prevalence was the lowest in emergency room. The MSDs prevalence of Korea at any body part or by body part was much lower than that of foreign countries such as Japan, USA, Sweden, etc. This implies that when considering poor working conditions and load in Korea, the incidence rate of MSDs may rapidly increase in Korea in the future.

Research on the Quality of Employment Centered on Information Communication Technology Industry

  • This study has a purpose to analyze quantitatively whether ICT industry provides the qualitative indicator of employment to attract excellent human resources. We investigate the relationships of labor market conditions among ICT manufacturing, non-ICT manufacturing, ICT services, non-ICT services. Therefore, the quantitative and qualitative indicators of employment (wages, working hours, admission and turnover, involuntary retirement, and the duration years of job) are analyzed for the ICT industry and IT workers. In order to quantitatively analyze qualitative indicators such as employment status and longevity, we used employment statistics. In order to compensate for the limitations of employment insurance data, the comparison analysis with the survey data of economically active population of the National Statistical Office was conducted. As a result of this research, ICT service industry has to improve the working conditions of employees and establish an ecosystem for a lifelong career base to grow as a specialist, need to pursue an investigation for ICT worker career shift, and promote standard labor contracts. In addition, protection of employees, ICT-related job vision and social respect have to be perused.

원조전문직의 문화적 역량 선행요인에 관한 연구 - 사회복지사, 교사, 간호사, 사회복지공무원을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Antecedent Factors Affecting Helping Professions' Cultural Competence - Focusing on Social Workers, Teachers, Nurses, and Social Work Civil Servants -)

  • 본 연구는 사회복지사, 교사, 간호사, 사회복지공무원의 문화적 역량 현황과 선행요인을 파악하기 위해 진행되었다. 연구결과 교사의 문화적 역량이 가장 높았으며 사회복지사, 공무원, 간호사 순이었다. 문화적 역량 선행요인으로는 연령, 교육수준, 외국어구사여부, 다문화업무시간, 종사기간, 교육훈련시간, 조직의 지원이 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었으며, 각 직군 간에 유의미한 선행요인에도 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 토대로 문화적 역량을 제고하기 위한 정책적 방향과 실천적 함의를 제시하였다.

대학도서관 팀제의 유효성 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of Team Effectiveness in University Libraries)

  • 이용자와 서비스환경의 변화에 대한 대응방안의 하나로 대학도서관에 점차 팀제 도입이 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 대학도서관에 도입된 팀제의 유효성 평가를 통해 효율적인 팀제적용 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 팀제의 유효성 평가에 있어 직급과 근무기간별 차이가 큰 것으로 조사되었으며, 커뮤니케이션의 활성화와 팀제 수용능력이 유효성에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 따라서, 팀제 도입에 따른 유효성을 극대화하기 위해서는 목표설정과 갈등해소에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 팀내 및 팀간 커뮤니케이션 활성화 방안의 마련과 팀제 수용능력의 향상을 통해 대학도서관의 특성과 목적에 적합한 팀제 모델이 제시될 필요가 있다.

임상간호사의 가족지지도가 직무 스트레스에 미치는 영향 (Family Support and Job Stress of Clinical Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was done to investigate the level of family support, job stress in clinical nurses end identify the participant's individual characteristics that influenced each of them. Methods: This study was a descriptive correlational study. The participants were 192 clinical nurses working in local middle range hospitals. The data were collected from May to June, 2013 and analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test and Pearson's correlation by PASW statistics20. Results: The item mean score for family support was 21.01 and job stress was 98.89. There was a statistically significant negative correlation between family support and job stress (r=-.12). The level of job stress differed according to age (p=.014), duration of career (p=.013), department area (p<.001), position (p=.005), work duty form (p<.001), family member (p=.021), burden (p=.031), marital status (p=.001) and satisfaction (p<.001). Conclusion: Family support is needed to reduce job stress. Also, job satisfaction improvement programs and effective working systems should be developed to decrease the nurse's workplace stress.

간호 조직특성이 간호사의 지식공유에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Organizational Characteristics on Knowledge Sharing in a Hospital Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study is to identify the effect of organizational characteristics on knowledge sharing in a general hospital nurses. Method: The objects of this study were 358 nurses who had worked in a general Hospital. Data were collected from May, 3rd to May, 10th in 2004 through questionnaire. Five structured Instruments were used to collect the data. Result: The knowledge sharing of nurses was the positive correlation with openness of communication, learning orientation, the support of director of nursing department, and application of information technology(r=.431${\sim}$.611, p=.000). The degree of nurse's knowledge sharing showed a significant difference according to nurses' education level, duration of working, duty shift, working field, position in Hospital(p=.05). Openness of communication appeared into a most important predictor in knowledge sharing of Nurses, and then was learning orientation, the support of director of nursing department, application of information technology in order(p=.000). All of these variables explained 55.1% of knowledge sharing of nurses. Conclusion: To increase knowledge sharing of nurses, nursing organization will have to make up organization culture of opening communication and learning orientation of nurse, promote up the support of director of nursing department and application of information technology.

Endoscopic Management of Cranial Arachnoid Cysts Using Extra-Channel Method

  • Objective : Arachnoid cysts (ACs) can be cured by making the definite and wide communication between the cyst and arachnoid space using endoscopy, but often it is impossible only through the usual working-channel (intra-channel) procedures. We discuss and propose a more valuable endoscopic technique with the presentation of our series of cases. Methods : We treated 9 patients with cortical AC in various locations with extra-channel endoscopic techniques. The patients ranged in age from 3 years to 60 years (mean age, 37.2 yrs). The follow-up period ranged from 12 to 26 months (mean follow-up duration, 17.2 months). All patients had large AC compressing the adjacent brain with clinical symptoms or signs. The authors performed extensive fenestration via single burr hole with the aid of endoscope. Being bypassed the rigid endoscope, through the space between the shaft of endoscope and guiding cannula (extra-channel method), fenestration procedures were done in the dry fields. Results : Eight (88.9%) patients had been treated successfully with endoscope. One patient required shunt procedure. Among the eight patients who were treated with endoscopic procedure, 6 patients (66.7%) showed cyst reduction, and two (22.2%) showed disappearance of cyst. Conclusion : We suggest that extra-channel method will be simple and easy to perform using more valuable instruments with wider working area, and may promise better results compared to the conventional intra-channel endoscopic procedures.
