This main purpose of this study was to assess the effects of two different types of ethics education on the moral judgement of clinical nurses. One type was free discussions among nurses with given specific moral issues and the other type was discussions guided by experts on specific moral issues. The study employed a quasi-experimental, nonequivalent pre test-post test design using two different control groups. The conceptual framework of the study was derived from the Kohlberg′s Moral Development Theory (1969) and the Greipp′s Ethical Decision-Making Model (1992). The data was collected during the period of October 14 through December 15, 1998. Sample consists of 32 nurses working in the ICU who met research criteria. 16 nurses were assigned to the free discussion group and 16 nurses to the group for the guided discussion with experts group. For the pre-test, the DIT which was developed by Rest (1984) and JAND by Ketefian (1998) were used with some modification by the author. After the education, only JAND was used to assess the changes in moral judgement. The collected data was analysed using SPSS PC program. The findings are as follows: 1. There was no significant difference between two groups in their general characteristics. Only difference which was statistically significant between two groups was that realistic score on Case 3/Medical Research and Autopsy was higher in the free discussion group. 2. Hypothesis 1: "There will be a difference on the moral judgement of nurses before and after they receive an ethics education". This hypothesis was supported partially. Those who had low scores on moral judgement before the education tended to have higher scores after the education on the same issues. And, after the education, the nurses tend to give lower scores on the dilemmas they had experienced frequently at work; while giving higher scores on those dilemmas they had no prior experience. 3. Hypothesis 2: "The effect of education may differ depended upon the moral development index [P(%)] score of nurses". The effect of education was different depend on moral development level. The group who′s P(%) scores was low at the pretest has higher scores in realistic moral judgement after the education, while the groups with middle or high P(%) scores went down after the education. These changes were statistically significant in some cases, thus, the Hypothesis 2 was partially supported 4. Hypothesis 3: "The method of ethics education will have different effects on the moral judgement of nurses". Even though several nurses attended the guided discussion stated that the education program broadend their perspectives the difference between two groups was not significant and this hypothesis was not supported. In conclusion, both types of ethics education had helped the nurses to acquire the skills to deal some nursing dilemmas. The effects of ethics education may differ according to the moral development index - P(%) score. However, because of some of the limitations of this study, mainly small sample size, short term education, unable to control other variables which may affect moral judgement of nurses, further research is warranted.er research is warranted.
The teaching-learning method utilizing Web makes it possible for the students take the initiative in any field and offers the teaching strategy, methodology and teaching-learning materials suitable for students' ability and standard. The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of WBI in mathematics class for the effective teaching and learning focusing on the unit 'Function' in the 1st grade of middle school and verify its effectiveness by developing the WBI programs which can progress learning achievement and applying them to math class. Two hypotheses were established for this study. Hypothesis 1 : There will be meaningful difference between the group that studies under WBI and the one that doesn't, Hypothesis 2 : There will be meaningful difference in the attitude and interest toward learning between the group that studies under WBI and the one that doesn't. In order to find out the result, I have made a comparative analysis through t-verification on the object of two classes of the 1st grade in P middle school that I have been working for. The result shows that the class utilizing WBI is more effective than the traditional lecture-oriented class since there is a meaningful difference between the control group and experimental one and also that the class based on WEB has a great influence on students' interest and positive attitude toward math class.
Purpose Organizations invest significant portions of their budgets in fortifying information security. Nevertheless, the security threats by employees are still at large. We discuss methods to reduce security threats that are posed by employees in organization. This study finds antecedent factors that increases or decreases employee's compliance intention. Also, the study suggests organizations' security environmental factors which influences the antecedent factors of compliance intention. Design/methodology/approach The structural equation model is then applied in order to verify this research model and hypothesis. Data were collected on 415 employees working in organizations with an implemented information security policy in South Korea. We analyzed the fitness and validity of the research model via confirmatory factor analysis in order to verify the research hypothesis, then we analyzed structural model, and derived the result. Findings The result shows that organizational commitment and peer behavior increase security compliance intention of employees, while security system anxiety decreases compliance intention. And, organization's physical security system and security communication both have influence on antecedent factors for information security compliance of employees. Our findings help organizations to establish information security strategies that enhance employee security compliance intention.
The concern of external environment is growing up in the field of channel distribution. In the former channel distribution, the channel distribution environment is little bit unmoveable owing to a powerful manufacture control against poor distributor. Therefore intra-efficiency is channel member's core interest. The structure of channel governance, however, come to be changable because of the mature distributor power against manufacturer such as a Price Break, JIT of channel governance, and a serial of change. Accordingly, it is acceptable that the interest of external-environment of channel members' is more and more enlarged, and external-environment change in the channel distribution make the serious problems in intraorganizational system. Thus, it is meaningful that this study try to discover the consumer power as external environment factor and to find the best strategy to overcome this consumer power. Resource dependence theory, Transaction cost theory, Political Economic Approach, and Working partnership Approach are the theory foundation of the reasearch. Apparel franchise is a sample to analyse the hypothesis and correlation and multi-regression are a chief tools to estimate the hypothesis. Thus, the above results imply that a flexible governance is appropriate to consumer power, conflict is not intervening value between consumer power and channel governance, and the channel member's satisfaction can be confirmed in the flexible governance better than control governance.
Purpose: O2O Service is a major internet-based distribution industry. The purpose of this study is to confirm the effects of positive psychological capital on job intensity, customer orientation, and the mediating effects of trust of O2O employee. Research design, data and methodology: This study aims to identify the effect of positive psychological capital on customer orientation and job intensity through empirical analysis. 475 questionnaires were used for the final analysis using random sampling methods from O2O employees working at leading distribution companies for hypothesis verification. The analysis methods used for hypothesis testing in this study were analyzed using the SPSS 21.0 statistical package. Results: Empirical analysis shows that it is an important factor in increasing job intensity and customer orientation, and that company trust has a significant influence through mediating effects among variables. Conclusions: In order to enhance job intensity and customer orientation for O2O distribution workers, it is necessary to change efforts with management efforts for positive psychological factors and trust. It is also believed that company trust should be considered as an important factor in the future leadership competency development system in that it can promote positive psychological capital, further strengthening job intensity and customer orientation.
This study observed and investigated the commute time of dual-earner couples from a family developmental perspective. It tested whether the household responsibility hypothesis was effective in explaining the gender gap in the commute time for these couples. I extracted 2,103 time diaries written by 1,266 matched couples from the 2014 Korean Time Use Survey data for this study. The sample was categorized by the age of the eldest child into four age groups of 0-6, 7-12, 13-18, and 19-29. Analytic results from ANOVA, Scheffé test, and OLS regression are as follows. First, husbands traveled longer hours to work than wives in all age groups, while the commute time of couples tended to increase along with the child' age. However, couples in the child group aged 7 to 12 had the shortest commute time. Second, domestic labor time of wives were negatively associated with the commute time, which appeared to support the household responsibility hypothesis. Third, in the child group aged 7 to 12, wives spent more time for work commute as their income increased; however, wives with traditional gender role attitudes had a shorter commute time in the child group aged 0 to 6. Forth, neither the wives' nor husbands' work characteristics were related to the wives' commute time; however, both wives' and husbands' work characteristics were related to the husbands' commute time. The findings suggest the possibility of spatial entrapment by working wives throughout the family life cycle due to household responsibilities, which provides implications for policy intervention in consideration of the gender gap in commute time for dual-earner couples.
This study aimed to identify the influence of a nutrition teacher's servant leadership on cooks' empowerment and organizational commitment in school organization. For this purpose, this study selected 288 cooks working in elementary, middle and high schools located in Daegu city, and conducted a survey toward them. The collected data were analyzed with the frequency analysis, the reliability verification, the correlation test, and the multi-regression analysis. As the results testing the hypotheses, the following 3 hypotheses were chosen as valid ones. First hypothesis: A nutrition teacher's servant leadership will positively(+) influence on cooks' empowerment. Second hypothesis: A nutrition teacher's servant leadership will positively(+) influence on cooks' organizational commitment. Third hypothesis: A cook's servant empowerment will positively(+) influence on his/her organizational commitment. Therefore, nutrition teachers should exercise their servant leadership so that cooks can be responsible for the quality of school meals and perform their work on the basis of autonomy and creativity. In order to perform the role of a servant leader, nutrition teachers will need to continually get various educational, training programs for enhancing their servant leadership.

Since patients who have suffered from strokes have chronic health problems, the development of a protocol for home care nursing is required. Therefore, this study was done to test the effects of such a protocol on stroke patients. This study was conducted by using a single group pre-post design. The subjects for the study were 13 home care nurses and 30 home care patients who had a stroke. Data collection was done from October 1997 to February 1998. The collected data was analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed rank test and paired t-test and the results were as follows : 1. The first hypothesis that 'working satisfaction of home nurses would be higher after using the home care protocol' was supported. 2. The second hypothesis that 'patients' satisfaction would be higher after using the home care protocol' was rejected. 3. The third hypothesis that 'the level of ADL of patients would be higher after using the home care protocol' was supported. In conclusion, by using a home care protocol, the satisfaction of nurses' work and the ADL of patients increased, and the patients' satisfaction also increased without statistical significance. The above results confirm that the application of a home care protocol is very effective. Thus, this protocol can be helpful in the quality care of stroke patients. Therefore, developing and organizing protocols, according to health problem, can be useful for beginner nurses who interact with high risk patients.

Knowledge about career patterns of women In any profession and about factors which influence these career patterns becomes increasingly necessary because of the influx of ever-increasing numbers of women into the labor force, and the need for the development and utilization of the creative productivity of women. This study alms to investigate Korean female librarians' overall career patterns and verify relevant factors which might affect to their career patterns. As an instrument, self-reported questionnaires were sent to 1,251 full-time Korean female librarians throughout the country with regular librarian's certificate, currently engaging in public, college or university, and special libraries. Based on the data gathered, the interrelationship between their career pattern inclination and its influential factors were examined through hypothesis testing. Major findings of the survey are outlined in the following: 1). Female librarians' career patterns were classified into five categories with the group represented as Categories-2 (single; wishes to continue working after marriage; places an emphasis on the sense of occupational accomplishment and social prestige) accounted for the highest proportion$(33.4\%)$. 2). The result of the hypothesis testing revealed that there is no significant relationship statistically between social factors(parents' socio-economic status, etc.) and female librarians' career patterns. So the hypothesis concerning social factors were rejected. 3). In psychological factors(job satisfaction ; self-concept sex role attitude ; role conflict ; and achievement motivation), all except for self-concept were shown to be relevant with female librarians' stable career pattern. So the hypotheses concerning psychological factors were supported. 4). According to the result of multiple discriminant analysis conducted between the above four statistically significant psychological factors and career patterns, the most influential factor for female librarians' career patterns was job satisfaction and sex role. In conclusion, the following recommendations were made: For overall enhancement of Korean female librarianship, earlier career guidance and concrete sex role education for young women is urgent which enable them to establish correct viewpoint for their occupational career female librarians themselves' constant endeavor In maintaining positive attitude toward their job is required.

This study analyzed the relationships between changes in family life due to COVID-19, daily stress, work-family balance conflict and the job satisfaction of married working women. The subjects of this study were 1,934 married women wage workers who were extracted from the data of the 8th year of the female family panel survey surveyed in 2020. Path analysis was conducted to analyze the hypothesis using AMOS 21.0. The study results revealed that family life change doesn't directly affect work-family balance conflict, but increases job satisfaction. But family life change indrectly affects increasing work-family balance conflict and decreasing job satisfaction through daily stress. And daily stress affects increasing work-family balance conflict and decreasing job satisfaction. Additionally work-family balance conflict has an effect on reducing job satisfaction. Based on the results, practice and policy suggestions were made to reduce work-family balance conflict and increase job satisfaction of married working women.
