The research was conducted by center for children's foodservice management in Hanam-si. In order to improve job satisfaction, a survey was carried out by working conditions and job satisfaction in children foodservice employees working at child daycare centers registered from January to April. Ninety-five surveys out of 120 were collected, and 76 surveys were analyzed. Job satisfaction consisted of four elements, working environment, welfare, human relationships, and job-itself, analyzed by general characteristics. Pearson's correlation was carried out between job satisfaction and intention to change job by Likert 5 scales using SPSS statistic program. The percentages of child daycare centers owned by civilians was 52.6%, high school education level was 65.8%, permanent workers was 68.4%, and less than 1 year of foodservice was 34.2%. Average scores of job satisfaction were as follows: working environment scored 20.6 out of 25 points, welfare scored 10.3 out of 15 points, human relationships scored 17.5 out of 20 points, and job-itself scored 13.2 out of 15 points. The lowest job satisfaction average was 'I get paid fairly regarding the working hours and the amount of work' with a score of 3.6 points. Job satisfaction based on facility type, age, education level, and working period did not show significant differences, whereas hired status, numbers of foodservice children, and intention to change jobs showed significant differences. Hired status showed significant differences with welfare satisfaction (P<0.05). Numbers of children showed a significant difference with welfare and human relationship satisfaction (P<0.01, P<0.05). Intention to change job showed a significant difference with four elements of job satisfaction (P<0.05, P<0.01, P<0.01). In conclusion, to improve job satisfaction of children foodservice employees, working conditions and welfare satisfaction should be increased.

Purpose: This study aims to explore the service improvement and marketing strategy to measure the effect of the DISC (dominance, influence, steadiness, conscientiousness) behavior type of hair salon workers on service quality and marketing. Research design, data and methodology: 236 responses were analyzed by distributing questionnaires to hair salon workers through SNS. Factor analysis and reliability analysis were applied and the influence of job factors on work satisfaction and turnover intention, and the statistical significance of the DISC behavioral type adjustment effect verified. Results: First, among the general characteristics of the survey subjects, the most common respondents were women and interns in their twenties, with less than four years of experience and less than three years of work experience on site. Second, the working environment, employee relations and compensation policies caused by work-related factors have shown a major influence on work satisfaction. Third, the working environment and human relationships among the job factors have an impact on turnover intention. Conclusions: The working environment, human relations, and compensation system derived as job factors had a crucial effect in service quality and marketing on job satisfaction, and among job factors, working environment and human relations had a significant influence on turnover intention.
The purpose of this study is to review the labor force partitpation rate and work environment characteristics of female workers to provide basic information for establishment and implementation of effective policies related to accident prevention and workers health protection for female workers. It was analyzed employment status, work environment and injuries and illnesses based on economic activity census results, compensation of industrial injury and the second working condition survey. According to economic activity census results, female labor force participation rate has been steadily increased, whereas male labor force participation rate has been decreased since 1970. Industrial accident rate has been declined in male workers but that in female workers has been steadily increased even though male workers were higher accident rate than female workers. It was evaluated that female workers are vulnerable to industrial injuries and illnesses in the aspect of their working environment and employment status. Also, Substantial differences between female and male workers in occupational exposure patterns, occupational disease and occupational environments were observed. Therefore it was recommended that special care programs for female workers such as a specialized monitoring and management program should be introduced in the near future.

Objective: This study aimed to find good design for summer functional farm shoes under the agricultural environment and working characteristics, which can help safe farm work and further promote the efficiency of working. Background: Most accidents at farms were overturn accidents caused by slipping or falling, and it was found that the main factors which caused the overturn accidents were inappropriate work shoes for the working conditions. These inappropriate work shoes often cause overturn accidents in the rural areas with steep paths. Method: A survey on work shoes was conducted with 174 farmers, and the outcome of this survey was used to find problems of work shoes and improvement ideas for the design of work shoes which can be used at farms. Results: Regarding the form of farm shoes, the ankle height was set at 6 inches to prevent the bending of the ankle and the inflow of foreign substances. The size and groove of the pattern of the outsole were extended to prevent catching of foreign substances. In the upper part, polyurethane and cordura were used in combination to secure air permeability, which was pointed out as the reason for the discomfort during the work wearing existing work shoes. Conclusion: Since farmers felt discomfort with the shoes which they were currently wearing, this study suggested a design of farm shoes by analyzing the important matters of the work shoes in development in order to improve such discomfort. Application: This study can help develop farm shoes that would practically ease farmers' burden of working at farm worksites and keep them safe.
This research tried to identify how different types of environments related with work-family reconciliation effects the amount of resource exchange between working mothers and their child. In this study, we applied theoretical concepts such as 'Defamiliarization'(rights of mothers to access the work force without any environmental obstacles) and 'Familiarization'(a movement trying to balance work with family and child). This study is an analysis of valid questionnaires filled out by 220 female respondent's who was holding a job and also had children attending elementary, middle, or high school at the time answering the survey questionnaire. Results of this survey are as follows. Mother's attitudes toward familiarization and child's school environments related with defamiliarization had critical effects on mother's perceived resource exchange. And in a further analysis, among the clustered groups of mothers the group which consists of mothers who try to work hardly on both work and family had the highest degree of the resource supplies to their child.
There are so many definition of good work but generally job quality can be useful to analyze the good work. Good work may include some factors about health or working environment. This paper was planned to investigate the level of job quality in Korean employees. Especially comparison of health status between low an high job quality can be analyzed. Korean Working Conditions Survey was used. The various job characteristics were categorized into 6 component of job quality using factor analysis. Statistically mean difference test and cross-tabulation analysis were used to identify the difference of health status and distribution of the level of job quality. The result has shown the different distribution of the level of job quality by the economic sectors and occupations statistically significant. The positive cases of all of six components of job quality was 2.1% of Korean employees and the negative cases of all six components of job quality was 1.5%. The subjective general health status was correlated with job quality but work-related stress was negatively correlated with the level of job quality. This study was heuristic one, more depth analysis will be needed to identify the relationship and causation of job quality and health status.
Stress is a primary health promotion issue in worksite research because psychological distress is closely related not only to workers health status but also to their job performance. This study identified the work environment and work condition factors affecting workers stress symptoms among the Korean manufacturing factory workers. A total of 7,818 factory workers employed in 1,562 manufacturing companies participated in the Korean nation-wide occupational health survey conducted by the Korean Occupational Safety and Health Agency in 2003. Participants were selected by the stratified proportional sampling process by standardized industry classification, company size, and locations. Trained interviewers visited the target companies and interviewed the factory workers randomly selected in each company. Work environments included physical work environments (temperature, noise, hazardous organic compounds, and so on) and psychological work environments (job demands, job control, and social support at work), and work conditions included daily working hour, rest time, and so on. Men were 71.5% and the mean age was 34.0 years old. The average working period in the present company was 6.9 years. The average stress score was 26.2 under the perfect score, 50, which means the moderate level of stress. Perceived stress had significant correlations with young age, poor physical work environment, high fatigue, bad perceived health status, and high job demands in Pearson's simple correlation analysis. Perceived health status and perceived fatigue explained 21% variance of stress symptoms and the work environment factor explained 4.8% of that; however, work condition did not have the sufficient effect. In particular, psychosocial work environment variables (job demand, job control, and social support at work) had a clear effect on stress symptoms rather than the physical work environments. Poor perceived health status, severe perceived fatigue, poor physical work environment, high job demands, low social support, heavy alcohol consumption and little exercise were significantly related to high stress symptoms in the Korean manufacturing workers.
In this study, I explored the causal relationship between acceptance attitudes and the expected effects of smart work. With the rapid development of smart technologies, lots of organizations try to innovate in the conventional working styles for maximizing organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Although many organizations wish to foster smart working environment, they don't have confidence in detailed action plans and effects from it. Therefore, this study that explores the causal relationship between acceptance attitudes and effects may have crucial meaning to organizations pursuing smart work. In this research empirically conducted by questionnaire survey, the acceptance attitudes as predictors and the expected effects of smart work as influenced variables were used. This research analyzed 118 collected data and multiple regression analysis. As a result of analysis, teleworking shows the positive relations to all of dependent variables. And others have a positive or negative influence on cognitive effects of smart work. Results of this study may give implications to organizations that want to implement smart work environment.
