근로능력평가지표의 취업에 대한 영향 비교: 장애등급, ICF 활동참여수준, 일상생활 도움필요정도 및 자기평가건강상태를 중심으로 (Effects of work ability on the employment status of people with disabilities: Comparing degrees of disability, ICF activity limitations & participation restriction, levels of assistance needed for daily activities, and self-assessed health status)

  • 근로능력은 장애인소득보장정책과 장애인고용정책에서 정책대상자를 선정하는 핵심요인이다. 우리나라에서 사용하고 있는 근로능력평가지표인 장애등급은 의학적 손상에 기초하여 결정되는 것으로, 제대로 근로능력을 평가하지 못한다는 비판을 받고 있다. 이 연구에서는 장애등급, ICF 활동참여수준, 일상생활도움필요정도 및 자기평가건강상태의 4 근로능력평가지표들이 장애인의 취업여부에 대한 설명력을 비교함으로써 가장 적절한 평가지표를 찾아 내고자 하였다. 그 결과, ICF 활동참여수준이 장애인의 취업여부에 대한 설명력이 가장 높았으며, 이어서 일상생활도움필요정도, 장애등급, 그리고 자기평가건강상태의 순으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 장애인연금제 및 장애인고용정책 등에서 적절하게 활용할 수 있는 근로능력평가지표는 ICF 활동제한 및 참여제약 영역에 해당하는 지표들이라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 ICF 활동제한 및 참여제약 영역을 바탕으로 한 근로능력 평가지표가 장애등급보다 더 적절한 근로능력평가지표라고 할 수 있을 것이다.

사례관리자의 직무스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인 (The Affective Factors of Case Managers' Occupational Stress)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to learn the affective factors of case managers' occupational stress. Method: A total of 986 participants responded to a self-administered questionnaire that included 24 items of Korean Occupational Stress Questionnaire Short Form (KOSQSF), job satisfaction index, health behaviors, general characteristics, and variables related to work. The data collection of research was done from 17th to 21th of September, 2007. The data were analysed by t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression with SPSS 11.1 package program. Result: The results of this study were as follows: The overall job satisfaction rate of men and women was highly than that of the Korean worker's standard. There were statistically significant differences in occupational stress in work place, work department, work position, smoking, treatment in out-patient clinic, subjective & relative health-status, work load, supervisor's review on work-ability, and job satisfaction. According to the multi-variate analysis, occupational stress(47.6%) was related to job satisfaction, workload, individual work-ability, supervisor's review on work-ability, health status and gender. Conclusion: Occupational stress varied depending on the ten variables and was influenced by job satisfaction(35.7%) and 5 other variables. The results suggest that further follow-up study on case managers is necessary to relieve their occupational stress.

자동차부품 제조업 근로자의 작업능력과 직무스트레스에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Work Ability and the Job Stress of the Workers in Manufacturing Industry of Automobile Parts)

  • According to the Statistics Korea, in 2011, people over the age of 65 years old accounted for 11.8% of Korea's population. This number is expected to rise to 15.0% by 2019, making Korea an "aged society". As age increases, physical ability degrades to the point that the workload must be adjusted limitations. However, workloads are given regardless of workers' ages or abilities. In addition, a decline in work efficiency due to aging also increases the risk of work-related injuries. Furthermore, the cases of stress related diseases along with musculoskeletal disorders(MSDs) rise as main factors of industrial disasters and excessive job stress gives negative influence not only on mental health but also on physical health so that job stress becomes a hot issue as a main cause of work ability falloff and turnover. The purpose of this research is to examine how the sociodemographic characteristics, MSDs symptoms and musculoskeletal workload of workers in the manufacturing industry of automobile parts influence work ability and job stress. As a result of the research, job ability showed significant differences statistically according to age, working year, sex, marital status and musculoskeletal workload and job stress showed significant differences statistically according to age, working year, marital status and musculoskeletal workload. In addition, it showed that as the worker's job ability decreases, job stress increases.

대상물 인식을 위한 지능센서 및 평가기법 개발 (Development Smart Sensor & Estimation Method to Recognize Materials)

  • This paper describes our primary study for a new method of recognizing materials, which is need for precision work system. This is a study of dynamic characteristics of smart sensors, new method$(R_{SAI})$ has the sensing ability of distinguishing materials. Experiment and analysis are executed for finding the proper dynamic sensing condition. First, we developed advanced smart sensor. We made smart sensors for experiment. The type of smart sensor is HH type. The smart sensor was developed for recognition of material. Second, we develop new estimation methods that have a sensing ability of distinguish materials. Dynamic characteristics of sensor are evaluated through new recognition index$(R_{SAI})$ that ratio of sensing ability index. Distinguish of object is executed with $R_{SAI}$ method relatively. We can use the $R_{SAI}$ method for finding materials. Applications of this method are finding abnormal condition of object (auto-manufacturing), feeling of object(medical product), robotics, safety diagnosis of structure, etc.

요가수련전후 한발서기자세의 좌우대칭력 평가 (Evaluation for Symmetry Ability of One Leg Standing Pose before and after Yoga Training)

  • The purpose of this work is to biomechanically study the effect of the one leg standing pose in yoga.. The work have been done through the evaluation for the left and right symmetry ability of one leg standing pose in the before and after yoga training for the 14 female yoga subject group (height: $164.3{\pm}4.4cm$, mass: $53.4{\pm}6.4kg$, year: $20.0{\pm}0.49yrs$) participated in this experiment. The motions of one leg standing pose were captured with Vicon system and the parameters were calculated with Visual-3D and Ground reaction force system. The results were as followed; - Front and backward COPsd did not show the significant difference, compared the before training with the after. - Left and right COPsd showed the significant difference (p<0.05), compared the before training with the after. - COP distance showed the significant difference (p<0.01), compared the before training with the after. - The asymmetry index of front and backward COPsd did not show the significant difference, compared the before training with the after. - The asymmetry index of left and right COPsd did not show the significant difference, compared the before training with the after. - The asymmetry index of COP distance showed the significant difference (p<0.01), compared the before training with the after. Therefore, the yoga training demonstrated the stable improvement in the one leg standing pose of inferior feet and the positive effect to the left and right symmetry ability.

  • This paper deals with sensing ability of smart sensor that has a sensing ability of distinguish materials. We have developed new signal processing method that have distinguish different materials. We made the two type of smart sensors for experiment. The first type of smart sensor is H2 type. The second type of smart sensor is HH type. The smart sensor was developed for recognition of material. And then we developed estimation method of sensing ability of smart sensors. The first method(Sensing Ability Index) is developed for H2 smart sensor. The second method($R_{SAI}$ Index) is developed for HH smart sensor. We estimated sensing ability of smart sensor with new SAI and $R_{SAI}$ method. 한국 정신간호영역에서의 간호업무환경 측정도구의 타당화 연구 (Validation Study of the Practice Environment Scale of Nursing Work Index for Psychiatric Hospital Nurses in Korea)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to test the reliability and the validity of the Practice Environment Scale of Nursing Work Index (PES-NWI) scale when applied to Korean psychiatric nurses working in the psychiatric hospital in Korea. Methods: Data from 224 psychiatric nurses working in the 6 psychiatric hospitals in Korea were analyzed using Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, item total correlation, and exploratory factor analysis. Results: The Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ for the 27 items from the PES-NWI were .93, and the item total correlation coefficients ranged from .38 to .64. Six factors which explained 61.2 of variance in the perception of practice environment, emerged; nurse professional role and development, nurse manager ability, leadership, and support of nurses, staffing and resource adequacy, nursing foundation for quality of care, collegial nurse-physician relations, co-worker's ability and qualification. Five derived factors reconstructed, and two factors were renamed. Conclusion: Findings demonstrate that not all but 27 items from PES-NWI is a reliable and valid scale when applied to Korean psychiatric nurses working in Korea. Also findings indicate that Korean psychiatric nurses perceive practice environment differently than American nurses but have some point of similarities with Asian nurses working in the United States.

농작업 자세를 고려한 근골격계 질환 예방 운동프로그램의 효과 (The Effects of Musculoskeletal Disorder Prevention Exercise Program Considering Agricultural Work Posture)

  • 목적 : 충남지역 일개 농촌마을에서 농작업 자세를 기초로 설계한 근골격계 질환 예방운동 프로그램이 참여자의 균형능력, 요통의 기능적 장애 수준 및 사회 심리적 스트레스에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 충남지역 일개 마을의 농업인으로 근골격계 증상이 있는 21명에게 2008년 7월 10일부터 10월 11일까지 총 12주간, 주 1회, 회당 90분씩의 운동프로그램을 제공하였다. 운동프로그램은 농작업 자세를 고려하여 유연성 및 근력을 강화하도록 구성하였다. 참여자 중 8회 이상 출석하고 중재 전, 후 평가에 모두 참여한 13명의 자료를 기초로 균형능력, 요통의 기능적 장애 수준 및 사회 심리적 스트레스 수준을 분석하였다. 결과 : 참여자 13명은 모두 여성으로 평균 70.55(${\pm}6.78$)세였다. 참여자들은 대부분 일반 밭농사(92.3%)에 종사하고 있으며, 작업 중 통증을 주로 느끼는 부위는 허리(69.2%)와 무릎(61.5%)이었고, 전반적인 건강상태에 대해서는 46.2%가 '건강하지 않다'고 응답하였다. 균형능력은 눈뜨고 오른발서기가 중재 전 평균 9.27(${\pm}5.53$)초에서 중재 후 14.22(${\pm}5.47$)초로 유의하게 증가하였다(p<.05). 요통의 기능적 장애 수준은 평균 19.84(${\pm}6.89$)점에서 14.38(${\pm}7.58$)점으로 유의하게 감소하였다(p<.05). 그러나 사회 심리적 스트레스 수준에는 변화가 나타나지 않았다. 결론 : 밭농사를 주로 하는 여성 농업인을 대상으로 실시한 본 운동프로그램은 참여자의 균형능력 향상 및 요통의 기능적 장애의 감소에 기여하였다. 향후에는 작업특성에 따라 차별화된 운동프로그램의 효과에 대한 연구가 진전되기를 기대한다.

Activity Level and Body Mass Index as Predictors of Physical Workload During Working Career

  • The increasing prevalence of inactivity and obesity, along with aging, has implications on work capacity of labor force. This study reports the relationships between activity level and BMI by age with objectively measured physical workload. Data were examined from a sample of 19 481 Finnish employees using an estimate of minute-to-minute oxygen consumption based on R-R interval recordings. The mean estimated %VO2max during the working day was 12.1 (±3.6) and 15.1 (±4.5)% for men and women, respectively. Based on a linear model, the mean %VO2max increased by 1.5%-unit per 10-year increase in age, by 2.1%-unit per 5 kg/㎡ increase in BMI, and decreased by 1.6%-unit if improving physical activity class by two (p < 0.001 for all). Overweight and obesity, together with inactivity, notably increases workload throughout the career, even though at young adulthood, the daily workload is almost the same for each person regardless of the BMI, activity level, or gender. This study highlights the importance of regular physical activity and normal weight in protecting the worker from excessive physical (cardiovascular) workload during the whole working career.
