ESG-oriented Governance Work System for Smart Highway Implementation

  • This study was promoted to prepare an ESG-oriented work system for Korea Expressway Corporation through sustainable highway construction, IOT-based smart highway preparation, and establishment of a broad convergence business governance system between multiple ministries and implementing entities. Based on the 2nd Basic Plan for Landscape Policy (2020~2024) and the Public Design Promotion Act (2018~2022), the study was conducted through the improvement of the highway design method to be applied for four years from 2021 to 2024, the changes in construction and social conditions related to expressways, the analysis of policies and plans to secure consistency with the 'Korean New Deal', and the analysis of the project performance and work promotion system that the Korea Expressway Corporation's business execution organization has promoted together with each government department. The results of this research are expected to help the Korea Expressway Corporation establish the 21st Innovation Plan for the phased construction of a "100-years landscape with people" and the preparation of a sustainable future highway environment creation project for the lives and safety of the people.

외국인 고용허가제 도입에 따른 효율적 노동인력 수급에 관한 연구 (A Study on Efficient Work Force Supply-Demand According to the Employment Permit System for Foreigners)

  • The employment permit system for foreigners, which stresses introduction of foreign work force in a legal manner rather than in the position of being trainees, is anticipated to efficiently improve introduction and the overall management system of foreign work force and related difficulties such as illegal alien problems, absurdity on sending laborers overseas. In this paper, a prospective model of supply and demand of work force has been developed basing on various categories of industries and patterns about nationally practical foreign employees to look over efficient supply and demand of work force suiting employment of foreigner among foreign work force policies. To propose the prospective model, we have derived industry- and pattern-related matrixes of foreign laborers basing on Inter-Industry Analysis Method put forth by Professor Leontiyef in 1930, and through the derived matrix assessed repercussions concerning overall domestic industries and foreigner types and decided yearly weight; the capacity of supply and demand of foreign laborers can be compared through proposed statistical estimation and government estimation by combining the determined weight with yearly incomes of foreign laborers. This paper has thoroughly considered the particularity of our employment permit system for foreigners and applied the Weibull distribution and incorporated the dependence of foreign laborers during the limited period of 3 years to the industry relation analysis, ultimately proposing an efficient supply and demand method about domestic foreign work force.

Structural Work Duration Estimation and Analysis of Tower-Type Residential Construction Project

  • In order to shorten construction duration in high-rise project, construction company tried to make various system method toward simplifying construction method and shortening construction duration. Though high-rise tower-type residential project are growing, there are few case study. Then, the data for preliminary schedule planning in high-rise tower-type residential project are rare. This purpose of research shows construction method in structural work in high-rise tower-type residential project, suggests schedule planning in structural work through case studies. The structural work in high-rise tower-type residential project was divided 1) completion of form in lower part and 2) the typical floor under penthouse. The statistical analysis were done in two parts, the data from analysis were used in simulation. Finally, researcher confirmed the difference between real construction duration and the figure from simulation. The results shows that the more construction duration is long, the less ACS's cost is low. It means the effectiveness is increasing in ACS, if the floor number is high.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 다양한 도시하부시설물 중 도시가스를 대상으로 시설정보관리시스템 개발을 위한 효과적인 업무분석과 시스템구성을 제안하는 것이다. 이를 위해서는 도시가스의 업무파악 및 사용자의 요구사항을 시스템에 반영하였으며, 기존 시설물관리시스템의 문제점을 파악하고 체계적인 시스템 개발을 유도하였다. 본 연구의 결과 업무분석시 사용자와의 계속적인 면담과정을 통해 기존 업무를 효과적으로 전산화 시킬 수 있었으며, 경영정보시스템(MIS)과 지리정보시스템(GIS)을 통합한 SI(System Integrate)측면에서 접근하는 것이 바람직한 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 시스템 구성시에는 현재와 미래의 컴퓨터환경을 고려하여 클라이언트 서버(Client-Server)환경의 시스템 개발이 적합함을 알 수 있다.

숲길 조성공사 작업자의 작업자세 분석에 관한 연구 (Analysis of working posture of forest trail construction)

  • In forest work, working conditions are very hard to improve. The good posture is believed to bring about direct improvements such as accident prevention. Therefore, this research carried on analysis of working posture in forest work (construct in stepping-stone) using OWAS analysis system. According to the analytical results provided by OWAS, the ratio of category III (Work posture has a distinctly harmful effect on the musculoskeletal system) has shawn that worker 2 was 32.2%, worker 1 was 25.2% and worker 3 was 15.5%. Furthermore, the ratio of category IV (Work posture with an extremely harmful effect on the musculoskeletal system) has shown that worker 2 was 9.8%, worker 3 was 1.4% and worker 1 was 1.2%. According to the OWAS method, percentage of OWAS action categories III and IV in the worker 2 was higher than another workers.

Retrieval of Broadcast News Using Audio Content Analysis

  • In this paper, we report our recent work on a indexing and retrieval system of broadcast news using audio content analysis. Key issues addressed in this work are two major parts of the audio indexing system: anchorperson detection based on audio segmentation, and phone-based spoken document retrieval, developed in the framework of the emerging MPEG-7 standard. Experiments are conducted on a database of Britisch broadcast news videos. We discuss the development of the retrieval system, and the evaluation of each part and the retrieval system.

건축물의 합성 지하옹벽 거푸집에 대한 편익·비용 분석 연구 (Benefit/Cost Analysis of Form Work Methods for Composite Basement Wall in Building Constructions)

  • This study surveys the types of form works used for constructing composite basement walls found in domestic construction sites. Based on expert surveys, the research provides criteria for selecting a form work type and cost-benefit analysis for different types of form works. In selecting a form work type, safety was considered the most important factor. It is induced from the survey that a successful construction requires a form work type that could solidly bear the lateral pressure of concrete rather than other types that cut back the cost and shorten the construction period. In the cost-benefit analysis, the benefit was the highest in 'euro-form+soldier system', and the cost was most competent in 'rib-lath+soldier system'. In considering benefit and cost together, 'euro-form+soldier system' was judged to be the best option. This is likely to be attributed to the following reasons: site workers are familiar with euro-forms because it is the most widely used; and, soldier system is more reliable in bearing lateral pressure compared to steel pipes.

법인 택시기사의 승객피해 경험과 사업장 안전문화수준에 따른 신체적 정서적 건강 (Workplace Hazards, Work Environment, and Physical-Affective Health of Taxi Drivers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the factors related to physical and affective well-being of taxi drivers. The main factors of interests were workplace hazards and work environment. Method: This was a cross-sectional descriptive study. A convenience sampling method was utilized. 181 taxi drivers in Seoul metropolitan area completed survey questionnaires. Result: In bivariate analysis, payment system, workplace hazards, and work environment were associated with physical health of taxi drivers. Multiple regression analysis revealed payment system and workplace hazards were significant predictors of physical health. On the other hand, age and workplace hazards, and work environment were significantly associated with affective health in the bivariate analysis. Moreover, workplace hazards and environment were significant predictors of affective health in the multiple regression analysis. Conclusion: To improve taxi drivers' health status, it is critical to reform payment system to monthly payment, establish prevention policies of workplace hazards, and encourage employers and taxi drivers to make efforts for better work environment.

빌딩공사의 안전관리정보시스템 개발 (A Development on the Safety Management Information System in Building Work)

  • There are insufficient models that find problems and solutions for accident prevention through risk assessment and suggest safe work process and work instruction from foundation works to finish work for accident decrease. This paper presents a quantitative risk assessment model by analysis of risk factors in each process such as foundation, erection, structure, equipment finish and etc based on accident examples and investigation on actual condition in building. In addition, the safety management system was developed to perform risk assessment of construction and use it for effective safety training for labor.

스마트워크 활용 수준에 따른 조직성과 강화에 관한 연구 (The Organization Performance Reinforcement by a Utilization Level of the Smart Work)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine an organizational performance difference by individual utilization level of the smart work. The Smart work help minimizing business process and improving organization productivity based on information technology. This new technology provides a flexible way of the task through smart-work center, videoconferencing, telecommuting, mobile(remote control) and business-only messenger. This investment changes organizational culture, institutions and behavior by new technology applying. The organization system change due to smart work has trouble between alteration preferences and existing maintains a group. In response, the organization should make investment justification of smart work for institutional and culture stabilized by a new system in organization. I set up the analytical process of four stages for empirical research. It will analyze an operation difference of the smart work between pre and post investment in the first-step analysis. The two-step analysis will conduct a text mining analysis of smart work operations. The three-step analysis will identify organization performance differences among individual levels in smart work. The four-step analysis will identify a factor difference in organizational performance by individual utilization level on smart work. According to the study, It has been revealed a difference between the pre and post investment performance on smart work. The text mining analyses many appeared an improvement opinion of organizational culture. Next, there is a difference in organization performance among utilize groups of smart work. Furthermore, the factors of organizational performance among groups appeared differently. The theoretical contribution of this study provided to expand the organizational theory of organization change and resistance. The practical implications provided to require a strong guideline an organizational culture and institution for smart work.
