As global competition of enterprises heats up recently, there is a growing the need to introduce business knowledge platform. Many enterprises work with other partners in a variety of situations and collaboration has emerged as new competitiveness of them. Collaboration improves the performance of members, and besides it has an important bearing on innovation, result, and increased productivity of enterprise. Lots of businesses, locally and abroad, extend the environment of collaboration and try to share business contents efficiently. In addition, they look into ways of invigorating collaboration by providing community tools. Corporations and Governments around the world are pushing smart work to respond effectively to this paradigm change. Smart work provides many types of collaboration and raises the productivity. Various infrastructures should be constructed for activating smart work. Most of all, core technology is to be developed. Virtual Cluster is the space of collaboration corresponding to change in business paradigm. In overseas policy of Virtual Cluster has been already enforced as an alternative to geographical cluster. The establishment and development of collaboration platform through Virtual Cluster can contribute to business competitiveness by smart work.

Purpose As non-face-to-face work environments become common due to COVID-19, interest in online collaboration tools that can communicate smoothly without time and space limitations is continuously increasing. Most of the prior studies are about the introduction, use intention, and satisfaction of cloud computing-based collaboration tools, and studies on the effects of collaboration tools on work-life balance and quality of life are somewhat lacking. Therefore, in this study, the characteristics of cloud computing-based collaboration tools were derived, and the effect on job satisfaction during work and job stress outside of working hours was confirmed. Design/methodology/approach This study applied the S-O-R framework and conducted an online survey of office workers who used cloud computing-based collaboration tools for more than three months. Hypotheses were tested using structural equations. Findings As a result of the analysis, among the characteristics of collaboration tools, stability, usefulness, and interoperability had higher job satisfaction as more stimuli were applied. In addition, the higher the job satisfaction during work, the higher the job performance, work-life balance, and quality of life.

The objectives of this study are to define the fundamental notions of collaboration in design field. The results of this study are summarized as follows: Firstly, collaboration means a cooperative work which are cooperatively done by collabarator and collaboratee on the equal status within a certain period of time, based on core ability of each of them. This cooperative work is presented with a visual image based on the identity of participants, and it creates an added value. Collaboration is different from convergence and hybrid in the methodological aspects and from brand alliance and strategic alliance in the aspects of the subject of project. Secondly, collaboration has been developing through step of using the specific ability, step of sharing each core abilities, and step of fusing their identities, in a view of the sphere of cooperative work and the intimate relations in reciprocity. Thirdly, according to strategic purpose, collaboration can be classified into value ascending collaboration, image changing collaboration, business-field extension collaboration, and event collaboration. Fourthly, production methods of collaboration consist of limited edition method, premium line method, common line method, producing a collaborative product, and so on. Fifthly, differentiation effect, image upgrade effect, production of higher value-added products, sale increase, diversification of business, sharing the targets, and promotion effect are achievable through collaboration. Sixthly, to make progress in collaboration successfully, the compatibility of combination between collaborator and collaboratee, the superiority of collaboratee, definitude of collaboration, the fit method of collaboration, the novelty of collatoration, possibility of issuing of collaboration, and perfection of collabo-product must be the points which deserve our attention.

This paper explores, explains and describes a framework for analyzing collaborative governance, decent work and innovation as fundamental elements of sustainable workplaces through case study of Philippine science and technology (S & T) parks. Rules, or the legal infrastructure, are particularly significant considerations that facilitate or hinder collaboration. Industrial relations/human resource (IR/HR) practices are essential to collaboration and decent work. Employee consultation and labor-management council or committee are examples of IR/HR practices that might contribute to collaboration and decent work in firms and workplaces in S & T parks as they are team approaches to production, too. Collaboration and decent work enhance the capacity to innovate. In the long run, collaborative governance, decent work and innovation tend to converge in the concept of sustainable development. The interdependencies and interactions among collaborative governance, decent work and capacity to innovate in firms operating in S & T parks make possible new solutions to new problems (i.e., innovation) and, thus, sustainable workplaces.

The Internet is flourishing and the World Wide Web is growing at an exponential rate. A fundamental concept of Intranet, the so-called second wave, was introduced only a few years ago. Intranets have been embraced by corporate users of information services and made substantial inroads in strategic vision documents and procurement practices. Business organizations have come to the conclusion that they require an extensive data repository in order to acquire a competitive advantage in a dynamically change market. This rich assortment of data must further be delivered and deliverable enterprise-wide in a secure and cost-efficient manner. Information technology(IT) has created the Intranet as a vitally important mechanism for the storage, dissemination, and even the analysis data. The present study is an attempt to develop a more through understanding of the potential and actual impact of the Intranet on organizational functions and activities. Expecially, it also consists of an effort to assess the impact of the Intranet on work collaboration. The research also addresses the issue of how the Intranet affects work collaboration and shapes or modifies business activities. The results of literature review and study revealed that middle managers believe that the extent of the Intranet use is significantly related to improvements in overall organizational functions and activities. While communication, decision-making, productivity, work collaboration, and business activities are all enhanced by Intranet use, Work Collaboration appears to be most dramatically improved by Intranet use.

This paper suggested a cyber collaboration platform based on web for food safety service. We implemented the cyber collaboration platform for food safety service so that the users participated in collaborative work may refer shared media objects as the same view to others. In this paper, we discussed a model for increasing reliability of food safety data through N screen server and client model. This paper explained a performance analysis of a system with function comparison running on multimedia collaboration work based on web and N screen techniques.

As the design environment of domestic infrastructure facilities shifts from a traditional co-work office system to a virtual digital co-work office, a CDE collaboration platform is required to build a digital co-work office suitable for the domestic design environment. In addition, a number of large multinational projects requiring collaboration from domestic and foreign construction companies are ordered, and procedures for performing tasks based on international standards such as ISO 19650 are required, so preparation for domestic designers is required. Therefore, this study aims to derive CDE requirements for the development of an ISO 19650-based CDE collaboration platform suitable for domestic design environments, and derived Korean CDE requirements based on ISO 19650 series and overseas CDE cases.

In this paper, we present an environment configuration of UML CASE tool for internet based collaboration work. We define a method of model sharing in distributed location and construct shared repository. Also we design for model history among work processes and to give responsibility using user authentication. Its result will contribute development of CASE tool supporting collaboration work.

In the globalized field of safety, health, and well-being, the need to build multi-stakeholder alliances to find solutions to complex challenges is growing. This requires common ground for collaboration, as well as concepts and tools to grasp and manage the areas of interest. Over recent years, Vision Zero has awakened interest and it continues to evolve into many forms of approaches and initiatives, which provide a strategic direction and practical tools for supporting the development of safety, health, and well-being at work. Consequently, there is a need to build a shared understanding of 'zero'. This article reflects the potential of Vision Zero as a bridging concept and an approach for building multi-stakeholder collaboration. Thus, we present a multi-perspective framework of Vision Zero to support further dialoge and collaboration in joint undertakings.
