초전도 전력케이블은 저전압 대용량 송전이 가능하며 송전케이블의 크기를 대폭 축소시킬 수 있으므로 차세대 전력송전 시스템용으로서 그 활용가치가 높을 것으로 기대되고 있으며, 현재 실용화에 대한 연구개발이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 초전도 전력케이블의 계통적용을 위해서는 다양한 운전조건하에서의 동작특성이 검증되어야 한다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 EMTDC 내에서 초전도케이블 컴포넌트의 초기모델을 개발하고 이를 모델링 된 배전계통에 적용하고 그 활용성을 설명하도록 한다.

The chromatographic separation of a methanol extract of Prunus mume (Rosaceae) led to the isolation of 5-hydroxymethyl-2-furaldehyde (1), 4-O-caffeoylquinic acid methyl ester (2), prunasin (3), 5-O-caffeoylquinic acid methyl ester (4), benzyl-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranoside (5), and liquiritigenin-7-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranoside (6). Their structures were determined by 1D, 2D-NMR and MS data analysis as well as by comparison of their data with the published values.

By the literatural study of chest pain (Sim-Tong), I have been obtained following conclusions. This conclusions driveed into the 'Sam-In-Guk-Il-Beung-Jung-Bang-Ron' written by the Jin, Moo-Taek. 1. Chil-jung(seven modes of emotions), Gi-Yeuk(abnomal risting of vital energy), Yang-hue(deficiency of Yang) are the chief endogenouse factor of chest pain. 2. Han-sa(cold-evil), Euk-Em(six-evils), Pung-Han-Yeol-Sa (wind-cold-heat-evils) are the exogenous factor of chest pain, and Han-Sa(cold-evil) is chief factor among them. 3. Dam-Em(phlegm-retention disease), Jeong-Sik(undigestive meal), Hoi-Chung(ascaris), Sa-Heol(blood stasis) are the chief pathologic factor neither endogenous nor exogenous of chest pain.

In this study, ambient vibration tests are carried out to replace the current bridge integrity assessment using controlled vehicle test, which requires the traffic control and may induce public complains. Ambient vibration tests and output-only modal identification can be very effective approach to evaluate the bridge integrity because the ambient vibration tests can be performed very easily without trafnc control. The bridges in test road of Jungbu Inland Highway were tested and the results are discussed here.

도서관자동화는 도서관의 기능을 전산기술을 통해 높이는 데 목적이 있다. 자동화 시스템은 문헌정보학 지식과 도서관 실무경력. 전산지식을 가진 사서가 관리, 운영해야 하는데. 이러한 업무분야는 도서관자동화와 더불어 생긴 사서의 전문영역이다. 이 글은 이러한 업무를 수행하는 사서를 "전산사서"라고 명하고, 이들의 역할과 성격, 업무의 내용, 필요한 자질에 대하여 개술하고, 이들을 양성하는 방법을 제안하였다. 마지막으로 이들의 역할이 중요하므로 최대의 지원이 필요하며, 학술적으로도 활발한 연구가 필요함을 강조하였다.

For every interval [a, b], we denote by $({\bar{x}}_A,{\bar{y}}_A)$ and $({\bar{x}}_L,{\bar{y}}_L)$ the geometric centroid of the area under a catenary curve y = k cosh((x-c)/k) defined on this interval and the centroid of the curve itself, respectively. Then, it is well-known that ${\bar{x}}_L={\bar{x}}_A$ and ${\bar{y}}_L=2{\bar{y}}_A$. In this paper, we fix an end point, say 0, and we show that one of ${\bar{x}}_L={\bar{x}}_A$ and ${\bar{y}}_L=2{\bar{y}}_A$ for every interval with an end point 0 characterizes the family of catenaries among nonconstant $C^2$ functions.

본 논문은 human visual system(HVS)에 따른 주파수 민감도와 공간에서 다양한 특성들을 구현하기 위한 신호처리 방법을 개발하였다. 인간의 눈은 주파수 성분에 따라 민감도가 다르며 초점에서 멀수록 인지 가능한 해상도가 떨어진다. 주파수 민감도를 구현하기 위해서 본 논문은 영상 신호의 에너지 스펙트럼 모양이 contrast sensitivity function(CSF)의 모양이 되도록 하여 영상 신호의 에너지를 증가시켰으며 신호 방향에 적응적인 multiband energy scaling 방법을 개발하였다. 기존의 시스템에서 능률만을 향상시키는 기존의 분석 모델과 비교하면 개발한 방법은 HVS에 좀 더 적절하고 선호되게 영상 신호를 처리할 수 있다.

Histones, nuclear proteins that interact with DNA to form nucleosomes, are essential for both the regulation of transcription and the packaging of DNA within chromosomes. The N-terminal domain of histone H4 which contains four acetylation sites at lysines, may play a separate role in chromatin structure from the remainder of the H4 chain. NMR data suggest that H4NTP peptide does have relating disordered structure at physiological pH, however, it has a defined structure at lower pH conditions. The solution structure calculated from NMR data shows a well structured region comprising residues of Val21-Asp24. In addition, our results suggest that the H4NTP prefers an extended backbone conformation at acetylation sites, however, it (especially Lys 12 ) became more defined structures after acetylation for its optimum function.

Americal A from the seeds of Phytolacca americana, was investigated for the antiinflammatory activity. The compound significantly inhibited edema induction, granuloma formation, arthritis induction and leucocyte emigration in CMC-pouch. But its anticarrageenin activity was not exhibited in adrenalectomized rats. These findings together with decrease in the contents of ascorbic acid and cholesterol in adrenals by administration of the compound suggest that its activity is mediated through stimulation of the pituitary-adrenal axis. The acute toxicity of the compound is very weak and gastric ulceration was not produced by the compound.

New series of catechol ether type derivatives 5, 6 have been synthesized and applied to biological tests. Even though it is ap preliminary data, some of our target molecules show the promising result against PDE IV inhibition. SAR and biological studies with studies with synthetic compounds will be discussed in detail.
