Image-based 3D object detection is one of the important and difficult problems in autonomous driving and robotics, and aims to find and represent the location, dimension and orientation of the object of interest. It generates three dimensional (3D) bounding boxes with only 2D images obtained from cameras, so there is no need for devices that provide accurate depth information such as LiDAR or Radar. Image-based methods can be divided into three main categories: monocular, stereo, and multi-view 3D object detection. In this paper, we investigate the recent state-of-the-art models of the above three categories. In the multi-view 3D object detection, which appeared together with the release of the new benchmark datasets, NuScenes and Waymo, we discuss the differences from the existing monocular and stereo methods. Also, we analyze their performance and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of them. Finally, we conclude the remaining challenges and a future direction in this field.

Recently, people with disabilities also search for and collect information from the web through smart devices, and save collected information on smart devices or take notes. For non-disabled people, various memo applications are provided on the market, so it is more convenient to choose according to their preference. However, existing memo services are limited for use by blind people due to the importance of visual information. The problem with blind people when using smart devices is that the screen is not recognized, so it is not possible to check in which location the menu of the application exists. In addition, it is difficult to input and manipulate text, and systematic file management and control are not possible. Therefore, in this paper, we propose the development of voice memo service that blind people can use only voice and hearing information and can operate menu with Bluetooth remote controller. We will develop a system that includes a comprehensive voice file management function for storing, searching, playing, and deleting files, rather than simply storing voice files.

For the first time Aluminium-BariumeZinc oxide nanocomposite (ZABONC) was synthesized by solution combustion method where calcination was carried out at low temperatures (600℃) to study the electromagnetic (EM) (X/γ) radiation shielding properties. Further for characterization purpose standard techniques like PXRD, SEM, UV-VISIBLE, FTIR were used to find phase purity, functional groups, surface morphology, and to do structural analysis and energy band gap determination. The PXRD pattern shows (hkl) planes corresponding to spinel cubic phase of ZnAl₂O4, cubic Ba(NO₃)₂, α and γ phase of Al₂O₃ which clearly confirms the formation of complex nano composite. From SEM histogram mean size of nano particles was calculated and is in the order of 17 nm. Wood and Tauc's relation direct energy band gap calculation gives energy gap of 2.9 eV. In addition, EM (X/γ) shielding properties were measured and compared with the theoretical ones using standard procedures (NaI (Tl) detector and multi channel analyzer MCA). For energy above 356 keV the measured shielding parameters agree well with the theory, while below this value slight deviation is observed, due to the influence of atomic/crystallite size of the ZABONC. Hence synthesized ZABONC can be used as a shielding material in EM (X/γ) radiation shielding.

This study creates a method with more scientific patterns for use in designing golfwear slacks patterns that better reflect the unique characteristics of body types for elderly women aged 60 or older. This study investigates (when designing human-engineering golfwear slacks for elderly women) the body types of elderly women and design slacks patterns suitable for golf actions in order to design golfwear slacks that show excellence in function and aesthetics as well as for exercise and everyday wear conditions. The study indicated that "total crotch length" was the design element for most considerations when manufacturing golf slacks. A survey on the production of golf slacks for elderly women aged 60 or older showed that the 6 firms participating have not produced an exclusive product for women 60 years of age or older and have only manufactured an enlarged size up to 85. All 6 firms participating replied "No" two the question "Do you produce in consideration of the body types of women over 60 years of age?" Polyester-polyurethane composites were the most widely used (among golf slacks materials) as spring-autumn applications.

The visual impact of fonts on lots of documents and design work is significant. Accordingly, the users desire to appropriately use fonts suitable for their intention. However, existing font recommendation programs are difficult to consider what users want. Therefore, we propose a font recommendation system based on user-evaluated font attribute value. The properties of a font are called attributes. In this paper, we propose a font recommendation module that recommends a user 's desired font using the attributes of the font. In addition, we classify each attribute into three types of usage, personality, and shape, suggesting the font that is closest to the desired font, and suggest an optimal font recommendation algorithm. In addition, weights can be set for each use, personality, and shape category to increase the weight of each category, and when a weight is used, a more suitable font can be recommended to the user.

Despite the fact that Korea has supported national cancer screening worldwide for a long time, the cancer screening screening rate is low compared to other health screenings and infant screening. In particular, women with disabilities show a lower screening rate for cervical cancer screening compared to women without disabilities. Therefore, from 2011 to 2019, this study investigated the trends in cervical cancer screening rates of women with disabilities and non-disabled women aged 30 and older, and analyzed the factors affecting cervical cancer screening of women with disabilities at the individual and regional level through the cervical cancer screening rates among regions. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that affect regional variation by dividing into regions. From 2011~2019, the cervical cancer screening rate of people with disabilities was the highest in Daejeon and the lowest in Sejong and Jeju, and the gap in cervical cancer screening rate of people with disabilities by region was analyzed to be up to 13.1%.

The purpose of this study was to examine the satisfaction and needs of female students in Engineering with counseling male professor. Subjects of this study were 92 female students in Engineering from a university in K city. Results of survey showed that women students in Engineering were most satisfied with the usefulness of counseling and next with male professor's attitude as counselor. Counseling needs of female students in Engineering was highest on receiving concrete information on finding a job from counseling and next to it on understanding women students. Results of focus group interview and suggestions for the study in the future were presented respectively.

Support policies such as education and training for re-employment of career-interrupted women are being implemented, but they are not being effectively employed. In addition, it is difficult for women with high educational background to re-enter, such as having to revise their previous careers or plan a new career for re-employment. In the previous studies, there was insufficient research to solve fundamental problems for re-employment, such as promising jobs with high employment opportunities. Therefore, when developing a curriculum for women with career interruptions, it was felt the need to select educational occupations that would be helpful in finding employment by age and educational background of the trainees. In this study, data on vocational training education of women with career interruptions were used to analyze the educational occupations with the highest employment rate by age and educational background.

Recently, consumer who has a desire to spend less money want to buy a cheap and good product because of long economy recession. Secondhand trading is regarded as a good method which allows people to buy cheap and good product. Activation of secondhand trading reduces the psychological distance among customers. Especially, in the case of expensive books such as major books, each university has community only for used book trading. However, existing used book community is hard to find current real-time trading state at a look, and it is impossible to purchase reasonably because of a one-way pricing of the seller. In this paper, we design and implement a used book trading web service using an auction system which can help anyone to trade used book easily. It is designed web based system and it provides convenience to user through efficient book registration function and book search function.
