  • This study examined the relationships sleep habits, daytime sleepiness, and problem behaviors. A cross-sectional survey design was used. Participants were 276 adolescents. Sleep habits, daytime sleepiness and problem behavior were measured by Adolescent Sleep Hygiene Scale (ASHS), Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS), and Korea-Youth Self Report (K-YSR), respectively. Data were collected from July to August, 2014 using self-reported questionnaires. Participants were middle school students, perceived their sleep time as enough and their sleep quality as good, have no problem behavior during sleep, and have no caffeinated drink for last a week were more likely to have higher score of sleep hygiene. Sleep habits score was associated negatively with daytime sleepiness and problem behaviors. Sleep impacts on physical growth, behavior, and emotional development of adolescent. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a sleep enhancement program for the good sleep habits of the adolescents, and to make efforts at home and school.

  • This paper proposes various policies for improving the process of performance analysis on R&D expenditure of the public funds in the Korean ICT industry. In order to do so, this paper figures out the present issues relating to performance indicators, methodologies for performance evaluation, release and comparison of evaluation results, follow-up study, integrated management system for performance analysis in ICT industry. In this paper, we suggest some new policies such as consulting an expert for improving performance indicators, maintaining the pre-determined performance indicators, introducing the qualitative performance indicators for measuring effectiveness, adopting the new methodologies reflecting R&D characteristics, introducing the new performance index for comparing annual performance, requiring follow-up study for major ICT R&D, introducing the independent and temporary organization for R&D performance analysis in ICT industry. In conclusion, these new policies will raise effectiveness and efficiency of the government R&D expenditure in ICT industry as well as strengthen the industry competitiveness.

People has interested in the urban environment and their health in the region with a step-up in income and the improvement of living conditions. They has realized that urban environment is closely related to their quality of life, concentrated on development of clean city and healthy city from the point of urban planning. The movement of healthy city has been spread out from Europe on 1986, and WHO(World Health Organization) has been supporting the practical work to improve upon the physical or social condition on each regional level. The policy of healthy city has promoted centering around each local government which is made up of networking with others globally to interchange informations. • In the age of the three Kingdoms, Silla, Kokuryu and Baekjae were built Confucian Shrine (Kukhak or Taehak) after BC 2-4 century Confucism propagated from China. It means 1600years' history of Saugc-Zeuhn Rites of an Imperial ceremony to honor Confucius in Korean peninsula. For Chosen dynasty age passed by Koryo dynasty carried out mainly Confucian policy, in Sungkyunhwan of Mun-Hyo (Confucian Shrine) traditional rites in memory of Confucius are observed twice a year in spring and autumn for 600 years of the 112 memories Tablets to Confucius and the other famous Confucius scholars. (his disciples and Korean Confucian scholars) Wine, food, and silk are offered, and incense burnt before the tablets of confucius and the other scholars while traditional music is played and ceremonial dances performed. Traditional rites are observed primarily for the purpose of reminding students and other attendats of the teaching of Confucius. It is to have got it firmly into young Korean head that humanim, family, courtesy, order modesty and practical morality are more important than any thing else. And also now we need to reappraise, fundermently recognize rehabilitute and transmission the traditional foods Korean sacrifical rituals culture by Korean characteristics culture, Through the historical background we can recognize how much the Confucius thought and education effect deeply Korean sociaty even upto now to Korean popular life. At the same time confucism became fixed to Korean traditional thought and culture. Specially Sauge-Zeuhm Rites is based on Korean sacrificial rituals culture and Korean dietary life generally through this study we can see and presume the changes and transmmision of foods and cookey methods from BC ages.

  • To improve the ecological function of urban areas, the guideline for applying the Biotope Area Ratio to the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) was developed in 2005 and modified in the July, 2017. This study investigates whether the guideline has been actually practiced in the real world by searching reports including 648 cases of the Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment (SEIA) and 471 cases of the EIA. The results show that the 38% of SEIA and the 43% of EIA include sections about Biotope Area Ratio, and the 15% of SEIA and the 25 % of EIA are satisfied the threshold of the Biotope Area Ratio suggested by the guideline. The statistical analysis results show that this low level of practice was not improved through the modification of the guideline in 2017. This is because the guideline is forcibleness, its explanation is unclear, and stockholders' understanding of it lacks. In addition, lack of tracking management on SEIA and EIA also contributes to the low level of practice of the guideline. To promote the practice, the efforts to legislate and publicize the guideline are required.

  • This paper aims to present the way to bring about significant results through performance improvement of learning algorithm in the research applying to machine learning. Research papers showing the results from machine learning methods were collected as data for this case study. In addition, suitable machine learning methods for each field were selected and suggested in this paper. As a result, SVM for engineering, decision-making tree algorithm for medical science, and SVM for other fields showed their efficiency in terms of their frequent use cases and classification/prediction. By analyzing cases of machine learning application, general characterization of application plans is drawn. Machine learning application has three steps: (1) data collection; (2) data learning through algorithm; and (3) significance test on algorithm. Performance is improved in each step by combining algorithm. Ways of performance improvement are classified as multiple machine learning structure modeling, $+{\alpha}$ machine learning structure modeling, and so forth.

  • This study explores a changing social expenditure structure of welfare states on new social risks, using logistic regression analysis with Panel Corrected Standard Errors Model on panel data of 1997-2007 years from 27 OECD nations. The result of this study presents that social expenditure structures have been adjusted with new social risk structure due to trade openness, female employment rates, and child population rates. Greater trade openness, higher women's employment rates, and lower child population rates are, more social investment expenditures are than income security expenditures. Rates of employment in service industries and elderly population rates are not statistically significant on the change of social expenditure structure. This result does not imply a complete switch from demand-based to supply-based social policy, but somewhat reflects transitions of a social welfare system for changing economic and social environments in order to sustain welfare state economically.

  • This study examined the impact of departmental trust on departmental development and academic performance in the department affiliated with physical eduction. Furthermore, it investigated the differences of departmental development and departmental trust by gender and school year of the students. Data were analyzed from 313 students in the department affiliated with Physical Education from 6 institutions of a 4-year university located in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Incheon, and ChungChong-do. For the research questions, simple linear regression model and two-way multivariate analysis of variance were analyzed. Results indicated that departmental trust had a positive effect on departmental development. But, departmental trust statistically had no effect on academic performance. Sophomore and junior in departmental development were higher than senior. Junior in departmental trust was higher than senior. There was no statistically difference in departmental development and departmental trust by gender.

  • As many people use internet through the various programs of PC and mobile devices, the possibility of private data leak is increasing. A program should be used after checking security of information flow. Security analysis of information flow is a method that analyzes security of information flow in program. If the information flow is secure, there is no leakage of personal information. If the information flow not secure, there may be a leakage of personal information. This paper proposes a method of analyzing information flow that facilitates SAT solver. The method translates a program that includes variables where security level is set into propositional formula representing control and information flow. The satisfiability of the formula translated is determined by using SAT solver. The security of program is represented through the result. Counter-example is generated if the program is not secure.
