This research has verified the efficacy of character education course in Liberal Art Curriculum in accordance with the objective of K Women's University of which is the 'mind sharing through mindfulness, SMART human resources development'. Most of the content of character education is organized aiming to promote values of "appreciation". The subjects are experimental group and control group, of which are 229. Research methods were t-test of between groups. The effects of the course have shown that the experimental group students were higher on the level of connectedness sub-scale in Gestalt Contact Boundary Scale than those of the control group students(t=2.323, p = .021). Although the 'character education' course increased connectedness, but it no positive effect on mindfulness skill and self-esteem. This results showed that character education course is effective to promote mind sharing and connectedness in part. It was discussed about a way of further refining course contents and the need to reflect educational philosophy of the K Women's University.

Fashion is a visual means of expressing identity, position, marital status, personal inclination, etc. along with beauty, and it is an important practical cultural heritage that can infer past lifestyle habits. In modern society, fashion such as women's suits, high heels, hats, gloves, handbags, necklaces, etc., as well as beauty such as hair, make-up and nail art. It is a model of innovative women's prize and presented a sample of femininity that responds to the radical development of science and technology in the 21st century. Therefore, it is a driving force for a genuine gender equality society. It serves as a stepping stone for futuristic future design. This study, which analyzed the factors of women's sexuality from the viewpoint of beauty college students in the fashion style of the newcomers, makes it possible to present a sample of women' s sexuality that establishes constructive self - help theory. It is thought that a solid foundation of femininity will be provided.

This study aimed to explore and understand the meaning and essence of their experiences in the context of Vietnamese daughter-in-law and rural elderly women's lives. Van Manen's hermeneutics phenomenological method was used. Participants of the study were 8 people who live with a Vietnamese Daughter-in-law. Data was collected through individual in-depth interviews. 8 essential themes and 28 themes were derived from the data analysis. The rural elderly women who had Vietnamese Daughter-in-law had to continuously provide support for their son's family and were subject to a high level of stress due to the differences between Korean culture and Vietnamese culture. The findings can be used to develop a practical and comprehensive community nursing intervention based on the perspectives of all family members. For further study, exploratory study on the grandson who has a Vietnamese mother or the son who has a Vietnamese wife is recommanded.

This study aims at providing an upgraded suggestion to improve satisfaction for the family caregiver. This study was conducted to find the relationship between satisfaction and family support and outcome indicator to investigate the factors that have influence on the satisfaction. The study population was 126 families of 5 elderly residing in institutionalized elderly homes in seoul and kyunggi. The data collection was measured satisfaction, family support, and outcome indicator instrument. The satisfaction showed meaning relationship with outcome indicator and family support. Explainary power of independent variables of product index was 23%. Factors influencing satisfaction for the family was economic level, family support and outcome indicator. This study was done to give suggestions to improve family caregiver satisfaction and to serve as a basis for policy strategies by examining the current conditions of the nursing facilities.

The aim of this study was to develop a group counseling program as an integrative psychotherapy program to alleviate depression and physical symptoms of 22 women in 60s who experience depression as a symptom of conversion disorder and also tried to prove the effectivity of the program by using comparative analyze of pre-post changes. The Korean-style Elderly Depression Test(K-GDS), Symptom Interpretation Questionnaire(SIQ), Hamilton Depression Assessment Scale Questionnaire, PHQ-9 and interpersonal relationship scale (RCS) were conducted and pre-post-corresponding sample t-test, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were performed. The results showed depression reduction, physical symptoms alleviation, decreases in negative emotions and beliefs, and positive changes in interpersonal relationships. The implications and limitations of this study were discussed.

Purpose: This literature review was conducted to provide a summary of the findings from research on knowledge and attitudes about human papilloma virus (HPV) and HPV vaccination, and studies of its actual uptake among women in Asian countries. Methods: The author searched the Pubmed, CINAHL, and KISS electronic databases to identify peer-reviewed articles published between 2006 and 2011. Results: Seventeen peer-reviewed studies met the inclusion criteria (13 quantitative, 4 qualitative). Findings from seven Asian countries that measured female adult's knowledge of HPV related issues and attitudes toward HPV vaccination were reviewed. Low level of knowledge about HPV and its related conditions, willingness to be vaccinated, and low uptake of vaccines were identified across the studies. Cultural barriers and social stigmatization about HPV vaccination were also discussed. Conclusion: Findings from this review indicate that adult women in Asian countries are in urgent need of improving HPV related knowledge and its actual vaccination. Policy makers, health care providers, and public health educators should take into account the cultural barriers and attitudes toward HPV vaccination in the process of developing and implementing educational programs and interventions for adult women in Asian countries.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors influencing life satisfaction in widowhood among older females. Using the sixth Korean Retirement and Income Study (KReIS) supplementary survey data, a total sample of 1,471 women aged 65 or older whose spouse had died were selected, divided into 508 young-old (65-74), 745 middle-old (75-84), and 218 oldest-old (85+). Then, factors influencing the life satisfaction of these three groups were analyzed, based on a combination of perceived health and interpersonal satisfaction levels. It was found that among the young-old group, a higher level of subjective health perception indicated by monthly income and material support and interpersonal satisfaction linked to more frequent participation in community gathering combined for an overall higher level of life satisfaction. For the middle-old group, higher life satisfaction was provided by monthly income, informational support, and material support for subjective health perception and no diseases for interpersonal satisfaction. The oldest-old group with higher life satisfaction referred to monthly income for subjective health perception and no experience in donation activities for interpersonal satisfaction. Based on these findings, this study provides implications for policy and practice to improve the life satisfaction of elderly women who have experienced their spouse's death.

The purpose of this study is to analyze factors to affect low fertility and to investigate its implications to social welfare. For the purpose, I surveyed 360 married women and men in Gyeongnam province, and employed multi-regression, logistic regression model to process the data. I analyzed factors to influence low fertility in three aspects: demographic feature, socio-economic status, and personal sense of value. The results of analysis can be summarized as follows: (1) the period of marriage in demographic feature, income level in social economic status, and the necessity of children in personal sense of value are important factors to affect the current fertility level, (2) period of marriage, total numbers of children, gender of the first child are determining the future childbirth in demographic feature. Secondly, income level is interrelated to the future childbirth in socio-economic status. Thirdly, in the aspect of personal values, how much one needs to get married, how much one prefers son to daughter, how much one relies on one's children to realize one's dream are interrelated to the future childbirth, (3) the cost of bringing up a child as well as he expense of private education, lacking of a day nursery, and economic difficulty are causes to make people to postpone or give up childbirth. These results suggest that development of population policy to promote women's social participation and to strengthen family welfare as well as social welfare is necessary. These also implicates that if we pursue integrated policies on women, childcare, and education, we can get much more effective population welfare policy.

Metaverse, realistic virtual space technology has become a hot topic. However, due to the lack of an institutional system to the metaverse environment, concerns are rising over the leakage of industrial confidentiality, including digital assets produced, stored, processed, and transferred within the metaverse. Digital forensics, a technology to defend against hacking attacks in cyberspace, cannot be used in metaverse space, and there is no basis for calculating the extent of damage and tracking responsibility, making it difficult to respond to human resources leakage and cyberhacking effectively. In this paper, we define the scope of industrial confidentiality information and leakage scenario and propose policy and institutional measures based on problems in each metaverse scenario. As a result of the study, it was necessary to prepare a standardized law on Extra-territorial search and seizure issues and a system for collecting cryptocurrency evidence to respond to industrial confidentiality leaks in the metaverse. The study expects to contribute to industrial technology development by preparing in advance for problems that may arise in metaverse technology.

In developing countries, economically under-privileged are mostly consisted of women, therefore supporting those women signify supporting the local society and the family. Advancement of women's economic status not only contributes to her family but also to the local society, nation, and to the global world as a whole. This paper is a research on local informatization and successful model in e-business for Indonesia, which established interactive research model networking with Korea-Indonesia Research Institution and policy-makers for two years and susggested practical research model through visiting Pekalongan. Through activated interaction between women enterprises and policy makers from Korea and Indonesia, the research paper seeks to create research based network and provide opportunities of information access and business matching to local informatized and e-business enterprises. In research adopted regions, city development project has been accomplished in human, business and environmental field since 2005, and have selected Pekalongan region where infra is settled to certain extent. With the information about Indonesia's city development project, investigation on Pekalongan's current geographical, humanistic status quo, the paper aims to and create Indonesian female e-business professionals, e-business user, e-business producers and provide successful model on Pekalongan's local informatization and e-business.
