A Wireless Sensor Network Architecture and Security Protocol for Monitoring the State of Bridge (교량감시를 위한 무선 센서 네트워크 구조 및 보안 프로토콜)

  • The wireless sensor network consists of a number of sensor nodes which have physical constraints. Each sensor node senses surrounding environments and sends the sensed information to Sink. In order to alleviate the inherent vulnerability in security of the wireless sensor nodes with the hardware constraints, the lightweight security protocol is needed and a variety of research is ongoing. In this paper, we propose a non-hierarchical sensor network and a security protocol that is suitable for monitoring man-made objects such as bridges. This paper, furthermore, explores a two-layer authentication, key distribution scheme which distributes the key and location of a sensor node in advance, and an effective security routing protocol which can take advantage of the Sleep and Awake state. This also results in the increased data transfer rate by increasing the number of alternative routing paths and the reduced energy consumption rate.

  • Recently, the wireless internet terminals like mobile phones or PDAs prevail in the management of customers. With such terminals, businessmen can get business data and information of customers in real time, in connection with mobile group wares. By the wireless terminals, customers can conveniently get information of goods, search purchase sites, and give orders and do settlement. This paper aims to present the safe data integrity modules of the wireless internet terminal, for service providing correct real-time promotion information, by using users' disposition, situation, Purchase information. This study aims to suggest an implementation methodology of security module for data integrity of mobile internet terminal. This is based on the WTLS of WAP Protocol. This security module is expected to achieve central role in conversion of wireless internet environment and emphasis of encryption technology and safe and calculable wireless communication environment construction

  • As the wireless network is popular and expanded, it is necessary to development the IDS(Intrusion Detection System)/Filtering System from the malicious wireless traffic. We propose the W-Sensor SW which detects the malicious wireless traffic and the W-TMS system which filters the malicious traffic by W-Sensor log in this paper. It is efficient to detect the malicious traffic and adaptive to change the security rules rapidly by the proposed W-Sensor SW. The designed W-Sensor by installing on a notebook supports the mobility of IDS in compare with the existed AP based Sensor.

  • When Mobile terminal user want to contact inner-network information sever, wireless information security need for Protect hacking. For the security, Mobile terminal user could have contact to wireless network through the gateway of Wireless Firewall. In this paper, I present a design scheme of Wireless Firewall that included major function of Packet Filtering, NAT, Authentication, and auditing reports services. I would implement to Wireless Firewall that included major function of Packet Filtering, NAT, Authentication, Integrity, and auditing reports services. I would conclude that the suggest will be useful for research and development on Korean Wireless Firewall System.

  • Traditionally SCADA is connected only in a limited private network. With new technology and facilities, there are also demands of connecting SCADA though the internet. The internet SCADA facility has brought a lot of advantages in terms of control, data viewing and generation. Aside from connecting SCADA to the internet, there are also operators who want to connect their system wirelessly. This can save budget for communication lines. Along with the advantages it brings, are security issues regarding wireless internet SCADA. In this paper, we discuss internet SCADA, its connection through wireless communication and the security issues surrounding it. To answer the security issues, a symmetric-key encryption for internet SCADA is proposed.

  • The Unattended fire detection system using a wireless communication device is designed in this paper. If a fire occurs in some area, the system can detect and automatically extinguish the fire. The major functions for the system are: Unattended detection system for fire based on wireless communication system and Automatic extinguish device system; Thermal imaging camera and video camera system; Monitoring viewer and map viewer system.

  • As the needs for wireless Internet service is increasing, the needs for secure m-commerce is also increasing. Conventional security techniques are reinforced by biometric security technique. This paper utilized the voice as biometric security techniques. We developed speaker verification system for m-commerce (mobile commerce) via wireless internet and wireless application protocol (WAP). We named this system the mVprotek. We implemented the system as client-server architecture. The clients are mobile phone simulator and personal digital assistant (PDA). The verification results are obtained by integrating the mVprotek system with SK Telecom's code dimension multiple access (CDMA) system. Utilizing f-ratio weighting and virtual cohort model normalization showed much better performance than conventional background model normalization technique.

  • With information communications and network environments merged wire/wireless networks are generalized. In this viewpoint, WAP is used by communication protocol for the data communication in the field of wireless environment. WTLS developed for the secure communications optimize TLS adapted wireless environment in the TCP/IP internet protocol. But WTLS denote WAP security problem, end-to-end problem, and power consumption, etc. Therefore in this paper we proposed WTLS cryptographic algorithm eliminated WTLS disadvantages. Proposed algorithm solved power consumption, calculated complexity, and security problems because it is not unique but hybrid form.

  • IEEE 802.11 표준에 포함되어 있는 WEP 방식의 무선랜 보안이 취약한 것으로 알려진 후, WEP을 대치할 새로운 표준이 802.11i 워킹그룹에 의하여 작성되고 있으며, Wi-Fi 는 중간단계로서 802.11i의 일부만을 구현하는 WPA 규격을 만들었다. WPA 규격 중 TKIP 알고리즘을 디바이스 드라이버에 소프트웨어로 구현한 액세스포인트와 펌웨어에 구현한 액세스포인트를 개발하여, 시험을 통하여 성능을 비교 분석하였다.

  • In this paper, We suggest Credit Card and On-line Financial Business Method Using on Wireless Terminal. First, wireless mobile terminal of credit card member is received suity code from dealing verification system of credit card company. Second, a credit card member give security code to member store. Third, the security code is compared with security code of the member in dealing verification system of credit card company.
