  • Urban development of basin causes increasing runoff volume and peak flowrate and shortening in time of concentration, which may cause frequent flooding downstream. An infiltration facilities are operated as a method of reducing flood discharge of urban rivers and peak flowrate. There are various types of infiltration facilities like infiltration trench and porous pavement. In this study, runoff reduction effect due to installation of infiltration facilities are performed and focused on $0.18km^2$ residential area of Ok-kye dong and $0.67km^2$ industrial area of Gong-dan dong in Gumi City. The analysis is fulfilled with comparison of total runoff volume and runoff reduction volume by using the WinSLAMM and the relation equation between area ratio of infiltration facilities and ratio of runoff reduction are derived and peak flow reduction effect for installation of infiltration facilities is analyzed.

The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS WIN 25.0 program, and descriptive statistics, pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression were performed. As a result of the study, first, it was found that there was a significant positive correlation between compassion competence and communication behavior(r=.625, p<.001), resilience and communication behavior(r=.535, p<.001). Second, resilience was verified as a partial mediating in the relationship between compassion competence and communication behavior(Z=2.012, p=.042). Therefore, in order to improve the communication behavior of nurses, it is suggested to develop and apply a program that can enhance compassion competence and resilience.

  • The purpose of this study is to confirm the effect of nursing process education applying action learning on the critical thinking tendency, self-leadership, and self-directed learning ability of nursing college students. A total of 96 subjects were studied, and data collection was from September to December 2021. For data analysis, the frequency, percentage, and corresponding sample t-test were used using spss/win 23. Results show that self-directed learning ability(t=-3.76, p<.001) was significantly improved. In addition, critical thinking disposition and self-leadership(r=.730, p<.001), critical thinking disposition and self-directed learning ability (r=.701, p<.001), self-leadership and self-directed learning ability(r=.734 p<.001) had a statistically significant positive correlation between them. As a result of this study, it can be seen that the nursing course education applied to action learning has a positive effect on the self-directed learning ability of nursing college students. In the future, research is needed to confirm the effects of various teaching and learning methods.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating effect of task value on the relationship between grit and academic stress in nursing students. Data collection was conducted through a mobile Google questionnaire from August 31, to September 9, 2021, and the subjects were a total of 192 nursing students from three universities. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis with SPSS/WIN 20.0 program. The grit had statistically significant negative correlation with academic stress and positive correlation with task value, and task value and academic stress had positive correlation. Task value had a partial mediating effect on the between grit and academic stress. Thus intervention program that considers the task value along with the grit should be developed in order to alleviate the academic stress of nursing students.

The survey subjects were intentionally sampled from 396 engineering students attending a university in Guangzhou who performed a business practice project. The questionnaire method was used to collect data, and the collected data was analyzed using SPSS PC+ Win. 27.0 and PROCESS macro 4.2. The applied statistical techniques were frequency, reliability, correlation, and moderated mediation effect analysis. The research results are as follows. First, there was a significant positive correlation between academic achievement, teachers' autonomy support, growth mindset, and happiness. Second, a growth mindset played a role in increasing the impact of academic achievement on happiness through teachers' autonomy support. Therefore, it was confirmed that a growth mindset increases the mediating effect of teachers' autonomy support in the relationship between academic achievement and happiness. Based on the research results, measures to improve the happiness of college students were suggested.
