In this paper, I analyze the mobile broadband services market characterized by vertical and horizontal differentiation. Vertical differentiation as service quality differentiation is based on the transmission speed of mobile internet service and horizontal differentiation as spatial differentiation is based on the service coverage. Theoretical explanations for the competitive price policy have been developed in the game context of WiBro which represent the high quality within the limited service coverage and HSDPA which represent relatively low quality with nation-wide service. When the WiBro has a mobile broadband service quality advantage and the difference in quality is sufficiently low, the price of WiBro with limited service coverage is relatively lower than that of HSDPA. This occurs because the advantage of WiBro's vertical service differentiation is offset by the disadvantage of horizontal differentiation. The difference in the quality of mobile internet service, however, is not too high, the price of WiBro is relatively higher than that of HSDPA. Moreover, when the service quality of WiBro is sufficiently high, the low quality HSDPA service faces no demand.

It will be studied that security measures through analysis of vulnerability of WiBro services and applications.

4G WiBro service in Korea, the world's fourth-generation communication is standardized. VoIP service has been activated one of the application in WiBro communications infrastructure. When using VoIP in the WiBro service, complementing the existing VoIP vulnerabilities in the encryption and authentication technology is a need for research. In this paper, fourth-generation WiBro, LTE, and the definition, 1G, 2G, 3G and 4G compares. And, WiBro service in the VoIP edaehan technical, administrative, physical, and hacker attacks and vulnerability analysis is the study of security measures. Enhanced security measures for the WiBro service to VoIP security through encryption and authentication technologies are studied.

The number of subscribers and the level of service usage are moderately low though WiBro service, as a new mobile Internet service, has been provided to mobile Internet users since June 2006. Considering this situation, the study was to identify, in exploratory point of view, which critical success factors are considered by mobile Internet users as the most important one to facilitate WiBro service, and to examine the perception of critical success factors of WiBro service varies according to their demographic characteristics. The study also was to suggest a few of research propositions on the relationships between critical success factors of WiBro service and characteristics of mobile Internet users, based on various statistical analyses. To accomplish these research purposes, the study defined research variables such as demographic characteristic of mobile Internet users, types of user, and critical success factors of WiBro service based on the review of mobile Internet service related studies. And then, the study performed various statistical analyses using survey questionnaires on mobile Internet users. The analyses show that there are little differences in perception on critical success factors of WiBro service among the mobile Internet users grouped by job and residential region, and that only the relationship between occupation of mobile Internet users and critical success factors of WiBro service is moderated by the types of user. Finally, the study proposed some research propositions, based on these analysis results, that could be used in the future studies.

This paper attempts to conceptually examine the factors affecting the growth potential of WiBro in the Korean communication market. The results of the paper implies that the WiBro service operators' business intentions mainly affect the its diffusion negatively and the convergence service combining WiBro with other heterogeneous service including Telematics services might enable WiBro to successfully grow compensating the current limitation of WiBro.

In order to expand cell coverage, increase system capacity, and offer various multimedia service with high throughput in indoor environment, WiBro Access Point(AP) is developed. Home AP is IFA/Omni type and has stack-up structure of channel card and RF board. SOHO AP is designed to support up to 2FA and has remote RF(RRF) structure using UTP method. Inter-operational test with mobile terminal were completed for 3 terminals using web browsing service simultaneously. The performance test results of WiBro AP are as follows: RCE(EVM) value is -34.431 dB for 64-QAM and throughput is up to 6.79 Mbps(DL) and 1.1 Mbps(UL) with 2.5m Line-of-Sight(LOS) condition.

This study was to investigate which factors promote the usage of WiBro service, and to propose a few of research propositions on the relationships between these factor and characteristics of mobile Internet usage. To accomplish these research purposes, the study defined research variables such as factors promoting the usage of WiBro service, characteristic of mobile Internet usage, and types of user based on the review of mobile Internet service related studies. The study performed various statistical analyses using survey questionnaires on mobile Internet users, and finally proposed some research propositions, based on the analysis results, that could be used in the future studies.

This paper is to develop WiMAX CPE(wireless AP) that can provides Wi-Fi terminal with wireless Internet service by connecting to Wibro wireless network. This AP aims to support WiBro in upstream interface basically, and Wi-Fi and 100M Ethernet interface in downstream. So, we has developed the equipment for business that wireless ISP can provide many Internet customers with wireless Internet service by using Wi-Fi terminal in subway, car, ship, and so on, and the equipment for users that a user can purchase and then install in person. For the latter, multiple Wi-Fi terminals that be registered in WiBro service can be connected to Internet simultaneously.

Recently, WiBro service as a mobile internet has been being extended. The market of wireless data communication has been being extended rapidly due to the increase of mobile data communication service supply such as smart-phone, WiBro service and so on. As the result, security is also emphasized in the mobile Internet In this paper, we propose the methods that tighten up security in the upcoming Enterprise Mobile-VPN service on WiBro network.
