Distributed Security for Web Application Contents Protection (웹 어플리케이션 콘텐츠 보호를 위한 분산 보안)

  • User web service is increasing by development of internet technology. Quantity of encrypted data that transmitted through the network are increasing by development of encipherment technology. We have many problems; it is caused by technical development and service increase of user requests. It is like that, we have reliability of contents and illegality copy problem of internet contents in web application system. It is contents protection skills in web that encipherment technology, authentication and digital signature. We need message encoding and secret key for solve vulnerability of encipherment in web application system. In this paper, we propose a distributed secure system that can data confidentiality and user authentication. It prevent performance degradation from bottle neck in encipherment server, and improve service quality.

  • Recently, security incidents are growing rapidly in which internal employees let the drawing leak out to competitors or other countries. This type of security incidents has a characteristic that it occurs less frequently than other types of security incidents such as network or server security incident, but the damage is a lot more serious. The existing information security technologies to prevent internal information from being leaked out are only applicable to general documents(office documents, web pages and image files in which data are encrypted one by one). However, architectural drawings made up of collection of files with various formats(extensions) have problems with the process speed of en(de) cryption and accuracy, so the developments of security technologies by new methods are required. In this study, we design and develop a security technology based on work area with which users can protect the leakage of critical information in the kernel level while maintaining their work environment when they have to use sharing information that cannot be managed by the unit of file. As a result, we developed the "Virtual Secure Disk" which allows only authorized users and applications to have an access to drawings, and have verified its security by applying it to the actual company.

  • 최근 웹(World Wide WEb)은 전자상거래, e-commerce의 눈부신 성장과 더불어 그 이용률이 급격히 증가하였고, 이와 더불어 웹 취약점을 이용한 해킹사례도 증가하고 있다. 이 해킹 사례의 대부분은 웹 어플리케이션의 취약점을 이용한 것이다. 기존의 네트워크 침입탐지 시스템에서는 침입을 탐지하기 위해 시그너쳐 방법이 주로 사용되었다. 시그너쳐 방식은 시그너쳐를 기반으로 우수한 탐지율을 보인다. 그러나 웹 어플리케이션 공격은 다양한 원인과, 변형된 특성들을 가지고 있기 때문에 기존의 시그너쳐 기반의 방법으로는 특정한 패턴을 찾아내기가 곤란하다. 본 논문에서는 이를 보완할 수 있는 방법으로 프로파일 기반의 탐지방법을 제시한다.

  • Recently, cyberattacks are increasing in social engineering attacks using intelligent and continuous phishing sites and hacking techniques using malicious code. As personal security becomes important, there is a need for a method and a solution for determining whether a malicious URL exists using a web application. In this paper, we would like to find out each feature and limitation by comparing highly accurate techniques for detecting malicious URLs. Compared to classification algorithm models using features such as web flat panel DB and based URL detection sites, we propose an efficient URL anomaly detection technique.

  • We implemented an application system which is able to verify visitor identification for remote bundle control based on OSGi and web camera control using embedded linux system. This system are designed open Oscar framework by porting java on the embedded linux system and implemented web camera system in local area networks. Also This system can verify information of visitor from receiving the data of RFID reader and designed the wireless internet system in home. Basically, in this paper we expect that home network system development and the period of application service development are reduced with integrated service provision based on OSGi.

  • Recently, a variety of attacks on web services have been occurring through a multiple access environment such as PC, tablet, and smartphone. These attacks are causing various subsequent damages such as online fraud transactions, takeovers and theft of accounts, fraudulent logins, and information leakage through web service vulnerabilities. Creating a new fake account for Fraud attacks, hijacking accounts, and bypassing IP while using other usernames or email addresses is a relatively easy attack method, but it is not easy to detect and block these attacks. In this paper, we have studied a method to detect online fraud transaction and obsession by identifying and managing devices accessing web service using web-based device fingerprinting. In particular, it has been proposed to identify devices and to manage them by scoring process. In order to secure the validity of the proposed scheme, we analyzed the application cases and proved that they can effectively defend against various attacks because they actively cope with online fraud and obtain visibility of user accounts.

  • Nowadays, most web sites are developed using dynamic web pages where web pages are generated and transmitted by web application programs. Therefore, the ratio of attacks injecting malevolent strings to vulnerable web applications is increasing. In this paper, we present a static program analyzer which analyzes whether a web application program has vulnerabilities to the SQL injection attack and the cross site scripting(XSS) attack. To analyze programs using abstract interpretation framework, we designed an abstract domain which models potential string set along with excluded strings and developed an abstract interpreter for the PHP language. Also, based on them, we implemented a static analyzer. According to our experiments, our analyzer has competitive analysis speed and accuracy compared with related research results.

  • As the near field communication technology's application scope tends to expand gradually in the various fields, application of mobile-based NFC(Near Field Communication) is increasing in the various types of technologies. The method which reads the URL address and supports access to the web site of the address if you touch the NFC device in the tag(RFID) that the URL address is stored was applied to the unmanned security system. It proposed the effective plan to manage mobilization security business in the aspects of Integrity, Damage, Real-Time, and Speed through comparison and verification of the method with the existing unmanned security system.

Effective Countermeasures against Vulnerability Assessment for the Public Website of Financial Institution (금융기관 공개용 홈페이지 취약점 분석평가에 대한 효율적인 대처방안)

  • Security issues arise due to various types of external intrusions as much as the rapidly changing IT environment. Attacks using vulnerabilities in web applications are increasing, and companies are trying to find the cause of the vulnerability, prevent external intrusion, and protect their systems and important information. Especially, according to the Supervision Regulation, each financial institution and electronic financial service provider shall perform vulnerability analysis evaluation for the website for disclosure once every six months and report the result to the Financial Services Commission. In this study, based on the Web vulnerability items defined in the Supervision Regulation, based on the inspection cases of actual financial institution, we analyze the most frequently occurring items and propose effective countermeasures against them and ways to prevent them from occurring in advance.

A System Architecture Design for Web-Based Application Systems using Role-Based Access Control (직무기반 접근제어를 사용하는 웹기반 응용 시스템의 시스템 아키텍처 설계)

  • Among web-based systems being widely used now, there are so many systems which are still using an user-level access control method. By successfully applying role-based access control(RBAC) to web-based application systems, we can expect to have an effective means with reinforced security for Internet-based systems. In order to apply RBAC to web-based application systems, we should come up with a system architecture for it. I proposed a system architecture which is needed to apply RBAC to web-based application systems. The proposed system architecture is largely composed of system composition and system functioning. For details, firstly, a certificate used by RBAC is specified. Secondly, a system architecture using a user-pull method is proposed and overall system components are mentioned with a role server being centered. Then, I showed how the system architecture can work to carry out RBAC on web-based application systems. Lastly, the analyses on the proposed system architecture are described for the purpose of proving its feasibility.
