A Study on Waterproofing Performance Evaluation of Polyurea Resin Waterproofing Membrane Coating of Velocity per Second Hardening (뿜칠형 초속경화 폴리우레아수지 도막방수재의 성능평가에 관한 연구)

  • There is a problem to be solved for improvement of durability and safety supervision. When you do the waterproofing work of main concrete from the design stage, the material and method of construction need to be correctly applied to appropriate circumstance conditions. Epoxy have mostly been used for concrete water tank structure. Lately, lots of subjects on adaption of polyurea resin waterproofing and anticorrosive are under discussion. Then, we attempt to approach by evaluating and comparing every capabilities with another waterproofs in this study. Performance evaluation items include the adherence performance, the imprint of seal performance, temperature dependence performance, promotion weatherizing ability, Inner chemical performance. drinking water eruptive performance. Through the experiment analysis, we found that the polyurea resin waterproofing membrane is dominantly superior to other waterproofs. According to this study, we suggest the polyurea resin waterproofing membrane as a new waterproofing material for concrete structure.

  • In this study, we would like to study on the application of roof exposure waterproofing method of joint stability through shiplap rubberized asphalt color sheet to complement problem of fracture, exfoliation and water leakage by existing roof exposure sheet waterproofing material joint weakness. Accordingly, examined basis performance and stability for joint that shiplap rubberized asphalt color sheet through test of that tensile strength, bonding strength, water permeability after bonding, peel resistance after bonding, lengthen resistance after bonding and hang resistance after bonding. The results of this study, waterproofing method to using shiplap rubberized asphalt color sheet is judged to solved fracture, exfoliation and water leakage problems happened in joint by problem was joint of exposure sheet by minimizing gap of joint being integration by shiplap.

  • The substrate behavior response testing outlined in KS F 2622 evaluates the leakage cause of waterproofing membrane systems when subjected to the concrete joint load behaviors by removing the waterproofing layer after testing, relying mostly on visual observation and subjective analysis. A non-destructive leakage cause and failure type analysis method is proposed currently in this study by the means of detecting leakage paths using thermal emission imaging systems. Test specimens are placed in varying temperature conditions after the concrete joint movement testing and are scanned using the thermal emission camera to determine the location and dimension of the adhesion failure/leakage path beneath the waterproofing membranes.

  • In securing durability of underground structure non-exposed waterproof materials, the company aims to improve durability of waterproof materials by studying more realistic weather conditions than KS standards and developers' durability standards. Analyzing the actual climate data in Korea and the temperature of the basement layer, it is a waterproofing sheet method, a self-adhesive sheet method in which a film and a compound, which are currently widely used as underground water-proofing, and a self-adhesive waterproofing sheet method, etc. We would like to present the guidelines necessary to prevent the temperature situation and waterproof defects that are ideal for setting the endurance conditions later.

  • In this study, the growth diagnosis of root is analyzed through plant's auxanology point of view, and the inductive root barrier ability of panel type waterproofing method which is designed to deal with it, is confirmed positively through long term(2 years) mock-up test. Moreover, basic ideas for inductive root barrier design in joint is presented through this study. The experiment result for the root barrier of sealed A-type during 24 months, there were no damages found on the waterproofing layer. -urethane sealing material was used to apply for waterproofing of joint- for roots. As the result, it was confirmed that it is possible to maintain the root barrier of method through applying inductive root barrier design such as the installation of decreasing space of bearing power which considers the growth diagnosis of root, even if the root barrier was not secured.

  • A sprayable waterproofing membrane which has relatively high adhesive property onto concrete enables faster construction with better waterproof performance compared with a conventional sheet membrane. However, the sprayable waterproofing membrane is a recently developed material and its performance and behavior with structures are not sufficiently reported. Therefore, in this study, the shear behavior of sprayable waterproofing membrane was numerically analyzed using the results of previous studies of composite shotcrete with sprayable waterproofing membrane. From the previous study, shear behavior of shotcrete with sprayable waterproofing membrane was different from shotcrete case and there was a limitation to express the behavior of the interface in general shear strength method. Therefore, in this study, the direct shear test was numerically simulated using two contact models, and then the best suitable method to express the shear behavior of the sprayable waterproofing membrane was suggested.

  • As landscaping building roofs and concrete structures increase gradually for low carbon green growth policy of government, But waterproofing membranes of those structures are effecting by root penetration of landscape plant. 80, we progressed study about test method for fast evaluating root resistance of waterproofing materials jointly with Tokyo Institute of Technology. The result of the study is as follows: (1) The penetrating load of the needle at the displacement speed of 1mm/min was measured for various membrane to basis and lap joints of membrane, the load force was $3{\sim}50$ N by material variously. (2) According to the test method of deriving rhizomes of bamboo grass to basis and lap joints of membrane, there were no penetrated membrane until present, but need persistent observation. (3) Test method of deriving rhizomes of bamboo grass to basis and lap joints of membrane can shorten from period of 2 years to 1 year for testing. Because rhizomes of bamboo grass can grow from May to September, test is possible in same period.

  • Safe, economical and environment-friendly tunnel construction are required again along with social continuous development, the importance of waterproof work that is portion that actually all of user and builder can find that is embossed by tunnel construction's one of important construction. Also, ECB (Ethylen Copolymer Bitumen) sheet that is used in existing tunnel waterproofing method (ECB waterproofing method) being black because asphalt (Bitumen) is added, by purpose that make illumination of tunnel interior brightly and scar discovery eases in sheet with coating white film, but ECB that is used present according as ECB that asphalt is added does not satisfy high tensile strength of construction field, quality standard of extension. Also ECB denigrates color of black M/B that asphalt is excepted.

  • This research aims to make a contribution to the development of waterproofing technique for rooftops by analyzing and understanding the problems of the currently used waterproofing method and their causes. To do this, this research developed an eco-friendly waterproofing method that supplements the weaknesses of the conventionally used method by analyzing the problems of leakage resulting from design and construction work to diminish leakage, improving the quality of construction work, reducing labor required and the period of construction, and improving environment alconditions. The characteristics of the newly developed method are comparatively analyzed with the convention alpractices, and are evaluated on the site.
