폐콘크리트 분말을 활용한 모르타르의 기초물성에 관한 연구 (Fundamental Properties of Mortar Utilizing Waste Concrete Power)

  • Waste concrete powder(WCP) has been estimated with a great value-added material as by-product of waste concrete manufactured to fine and coarse aggregate for concrete, because it is able to utilized for cement clinker and concrete admixture. In the experimental results for this study, chemical composition of WCP was similar to that of cement, and specific gravity of WCPs were 2.46 and 2.48 due to internal micro-void of WCP. Final setting of paste with WCP was delayed, and flow value of mortar with WCP was tendency to reduced in comparison with that of paste and mortar with only ordinary portland cement as replacement ratio of WCP increased. Furthermore, sorptivity of mortar with WCP was increased as replacement ratio of WCP increased. Compressive strength of mortar with $15\%$ WCP was developed about 27MPa at 28days.

  • 본 연구에서는 폐콘크리트 미분말의 재활용 기술 개발의 일환으로 WCP의 화학 성분을 분석하였고 $SiO_2$가 약 60% 함유된 것을 확인 하였다. WCP를 규사 대체재로 사용한 오토클레이브 경량 기포 콘크리트의 특성을 파악 하고자 하였다. 실험 결과, WCP 대체율이 증가할수록 압축강도는 감소하고 공극 변화는 없었으며 양생 시간이 증가할수록 압축강도는 상승하고 공극 분포는 증가하였다.

  • 본 연구는 WCP 대체율 및 오토클레이브 양생시간 변화에 따른 경량기포콘크리트의 미세구조 및 광물분석을 통한 화학적 특성을 검토하였다. 경화체의 미세구조 분석으로부터 수열 반응 후 WCP 대체율 및 양생시간에 관계없이 반응하여 판상형, 섬유형의 결정 구조물의 수화물을 형성한 것을 확인하였다. 또한 Tobermorite(C5S6H5)는 WCP의 구성성분인 결정질 Quartz의 반응에 의한 것으로 추정된다.

Genomic analysis of WCP30 Phage of Weissella cibaria for Dairy Fermented Foods

  • In this study, we report the morphogenetic analysis and genome sequence of a new WCP30 phage of Weissella cibaria, isolated from a fermented food. Based on its morphology, as observed by transmission electron microscopy, WCP30 phage belongs to the family Siphoviridae. Genomic analysis of WCP30 phage showed that it had a 33,697-bp double-stranded DNA genome with 41.2% G+C content. Bioinformatics analysis of the genome revealed 35 open reading frames. A BLASTN search showed that WCP30 phage had low sequence similarity compared to other phages infecting lactic acid bacteria. This is the first report of the morphological features and complete genome sequence of WCP30 phage, which may be useful for controlling the fermentation of dairy foods.

  • Waste concrete powder(WCP) has been estimated with a great value-added material as by-product of waste concrete manufactured to fine and coarse aggregate for concrete, because it is able to utilized for cement clinker and concrete admixture. Experimental tests were performed as such plastic viscosity of paste, flow and compressive strength of mortar by surface area of WCP. As a result, flow and 28days compressive strength of mortar was decreased according to increased replacement ratio of WCP as compared to control mortar. Also, plastic viscosity of paste used WCP1 and WCP2 was decreased with increasing replacement ratio, but WCP3 was increased with increasing replacement ratio.

  • Recently, for industrial development period, concrete structures in domestics have been increased. They were deteriorated by attack of carbonation, freeze-thaw and corrosion etc. In hence they were demolished and reconstructed, resulted in waste concrete particles. In this paper, waste concrete particles (WCP) by product from different crushing and selecting process were used in soil cement-based pavement in the various recycling. For using WCP in soil cement-based pavement, the Qualities, physical and chemical properties, of WCP should be researched. In the first step, the specified compressive strength of mortar for two types of clay sand soil and clay soil respectively was experimented to be 15 Mpa and then optimum mixing ratio of chemical solidification agent were decided in the range of $1.5\~3.0\%$ in the replacement with cement weight content. In the second step, based on the prior experimental results, recycling possibility of WCP in soil cement-based pavement was studied. In the result of experiment the mixing ratio of WCP were 5, 10, 15 and $20\%$ in the replacement with soil weight and the compressive strength of mortar was somewhat decreased according to the increase of the mixing ratio of WCP.

  • 본 연구는 폐콘크리트를 파쇄하여 고품질 재생골재로 제조시 발생되는 폐콘크리트 분말(WCP)을 자기충전 콘크리트(SCC)용 혼화재료로 활용하기 위하여 분말도가 928 및 $1,360cm^2/g$인 2종류의 폐콘크리트 분말(WCP)을 혼합한 시멘트 페이스트, 모르타르 및 콘크리트의 특성들을 분석하였다. 실험결과 폐콘크리트 분말은 각진 형태의 다공성 재료로 자기충전 콘크리트(SCC)용 혼화재료로 활용할 경우 유동성 및 점성은 혼합률이 증가함에 따라 비례적으로 감소하였으며, 자기충전 콘크리트(SCC)의 목표성능기준을 만족하는 혼합률은 15%이내가 적절할 것으로 판단되었다. 폐콘크리트 분말(WCP2)을 15 및 30% 혼합한 재령 28일 압축강도는 약 36 및 28MPa를 나타내었으며, 압축강도와 정탄성계수의 관계에는 CEB-FIP 에서 제시한 함수와 유사한 경향을 나타내었다. 이상의 실험결과, 보통강도용 자기충전 콘크리트(SCC)의 혼화재료로 폐콘크리트 분말(WCP2)을 활용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • Waste concrete powder(WCP) is a secondary by-product generated while processing waste concrete manufactured to coarse and fine aggregates for concrete. In order to assess the possibility of using WCP as admixture for self-compacting concrete, self-compactability, compressive strength and durability of self-compacting concrete containing waste concrete powder were investigated. Experimental results of this study appeared that in case of SCC mixed with WCP only, self-compactability and compressive strength decreased with increasing mixing ratio of WCP. When Blast-furnace slag(BFS) was added to SCC, self-compactability and compressive strength for a unit amount of cement increased. Also, SCC containing 15% BFS and 15%, 30% and 45% WCP, the dry shrinkage and carbonation depth appeared a tendency to decrease with increasing mixing ratio.

  • This study aims at finding issues and ideas of waterfront planning through analysing planning concepts and characteristics of New York City Waterfront Comprehensive Plan(NYC WCP). The first NYC WCP in 1992 divided waterfront area as 4 functional areas which are natural, public, working and redeveloping waterfront. The characteristics of WCP in 1992 are zonning, height, setback, public access, visual corridor, floor area and so forth. After then NYC WCP revision in 2011 intergrated and developed the former plan through the eight visions which are expanding public access, enlivening the waterfront, improving water quality, restoring the natural waterfront, enhancing the Blue Network, improving government oversight and increasing climate resillience. In conclusion, NYC WCP successfully achieved both sufficient capacity of planning concepts and design guidelines for each region.

  • Recently, by-products from concrete industry are generated in large quantities because of urban redevelopment. Accordingly, waste concrete powder(WCP) inevitably generated in the course of crushing, screening, and separating the waste concrete also show high emission and be increasing gradually, but which is mostly buried with waste concrete aggregate. This is a basic research to increase the value added utilization rate of WCP. We have examined strength characteristic of extruding panel with WCP, depending on the curing methods. The result of study shows similar strength to the base specimen in autoclave curing condition. And in autoclave curing condition, the specimen with WCP of 20% and 30% satisfy the target strength of 14MPa.
