A study on the processing method of anchovy hydrolysate paste (AHP) was carried out to improve the sensory quality of salted and fermented fish. Homogenized whole anchovy was hydrolyzed using commercial pretenses, Complex enzyme-2000 (CE, Pacific Chem. Co.) and Alcalase (AL, Novo), in a cylindrical vessel with 4 baffle plates and 6-bladed turbine impeller. Optimal pH, temperature, and enzyme concentration for the hydrolysis with CE and AL were $7.0,\;52^{\circ}C,\;7\%$, and $8.0,\;60^{\circ}C,\;6\%$, respectively. The rational amount of water for homogenization, agitation speed, and hydrolyzing time were $100\%\;(w/w)$, 100 rpm, and 210 min, respectively. To make the hydrolysate to paste type, it was effective to mix the additives, such as starch, soybean protein, agar, and carrageenan gum to the hydrolysate 5 min before the end of boiling at $100^{\circ}C$ for 30 min. Minimal NaCl concentration for long-term preservation was $15\%$, and this could be reduced to $12\%$ by adding $5\%$ of KCl. yield of the AHP based on the total nitrogen content was $94.6\~97.0\%,\;and\;86.0\~89.2\%$, of the nitrogen was amino nitrogen. Salinity, pH and histamine content of the AHP prepared with $12\%$ NaCl and $5\%$ KCl were $9.3\~9.9\%,\;6.1\~6.2$, and below 13 mg/100 g, respectively. The AHP was stable at $26{\pm}3^{\circ}C$ for 60 days on bacterial growth, and addition of $0.05\%$ of rosemary (Herbalox) extract was effective to inhibit the lipid oxidation of the AHP during storage.

In this study, the fluidity, mechanical properties and microstructure of cement pastes with carbon nanotube (CNT) were experimentally investigated. The 6 types of cement paste mixes with different PCE:CNT and w/b had been manufactured, and several tests including flow, compressive strength, absorption and water porosity were performed on cement pastes with or without CNT.Additionally, microstructural observations such as x-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were carried out to examine hydrates formed in cement paste with CNT. As a result, it was found that the performance of cement pastes with CNT was better compared to that of control cement paste (OPC) due to both of hydration acceleration effect and filling effect. Furthermore, the SEM images clearly showed that CNT can bridge cracks formed in cement matrix. Conclusively, it is believed that the CNT, if mixed appropriately, could be an option as nono-materials to improve performance of concrete structures.
We report effects of electrical aging on the emission stability of carbon nanotube (CNT) paste for low cost and high low-cost and large area field emission devices or displays. Photosensitive carbon nanotube paste was formulated by using of spin on glass (SOG) as an inorganic binder and investigated emission properties and stability depending on electrical aging condition.
Effects of ultrafinely ground ash on the rheological properties of cement paste were investigated. Also compressive strength development and setting time of ultrafine ash blended cement mortar were investigated in the study. A sample with silica fume was included for comparison. According to the results of ultra fine ash blended cement paste in the lower W/B ratio, the fluidity were high, and the setting time was a little retarded. And the compressive strength of ultrafine ash blended mortar was increased in the long term. In the case of hardened cement paste at 28 days, $Ca(OH)_2$ contents was decreased in order of control, ultrafine ash, silica fume blended cement due to difference of the pozzolanic reaction.

Concrete has a lower thermal conductivity or thermal diffusion coefficient compared to other building materials, so it is widely used as fireproof compartment material or refractory material for structures. However, in the event of thermal damage such as fire, cement curing agents and aggregates act differently, resulting in heat generation or deterioration of tissue due to dehydration, resulting in deterioration of physical properties and fire resistance. Therefore, in this study, the processing structure of cement paste is measured through nitrogen absorption method. The test specimen is a cement paste of 40% W/C and is set at 1000 ℃ under heating temperature conditions. As the temperature rose, the micro-pore mass below was reduced based on about 0.01 감소m, but the air gap above that was increased. Thus, in the range of pores measured in nitrogen adsorption, the air mass tended to decrease under high temperature conditions.

Recently, as the radioactive waste disposal facility becomes scarce, the importance of efficient disposal of waste from nuclear power plants is increasing. This study was conducted to utilize radioactive waste concrete powder as solidifying agent for radioactive waste treatment. Paste with an age of more than one year was used with a disk mill to have a particle size of 150㎛ or less, and treated at temperatures of 500℃, 600℃ and 700℃ for 2 hours. In order to simulate the radioactive cement powder, aqueous solutions of Di-water, CsCl 1M, SrCl2 1M and CoCl2 1M were used as blending water at W/C 0.7 and to improve fluidity, polycarboxylate type superplasticizer was used at 0.4 wt.% based on the weight of recycled cement paste powder. Characterisation was carried out using vicat method, strength and density.
A319 aluminum alloy containing 6.5% Si and 3.5% Cu as major alloying elements has been widely used in machinery parts because of its excellent castability and crack resistance. However it needs more wear resistance to extend its usage to the severe wear environments. It has been known that hyper-eutectic Al-Si alloy having more than 12.6% Si contains pro-eutectic Si particles, which give better wear resistance and lubrication characteristics than hypo-eutectic Al-Si alloy like A319 alloy. In this study, it was tried to clad hyper-eutectic Al-Si alloy on the surface of A319 alloy. In the experiments, Al-36%Si alloy powder was mixed with organic binder to make a fluidic paste. The paste was screen-printed on the A319 alloy surface, melted by pulsed Nd:YAG laser and alloyed with the A319 base alloy. As experimental parameters, the average laser power was changed to 111 W, 202 W and 280 W. With increasing the average laser power, the melting depth was changed to $142{\mu}m$, $205{\mu}m$ and $245{\mu}m$, and the dilution rate to 67.2 %, 72.4 % and 75.7 %, and the Si content in the cladding layer to 16.2 %, 14.6 % and 13.7 %, respectively. The cross-section of the cladding layer showed very fine eutectic microstructure even though it was hyper-eutectic Al-Si alloy. This seems to be due to the rapid solidification of the melted spot by single laser pulse. The average hardness for the three cladding layers was HV175, which was much higher than HV96 of A319 base alloy. From the block-on-roll wear tests, A319 alloy had a wear loss of 5.8 mg, but the three cladding layers had an average wear loss of 3.5 mg, which meant that an increase of 40 % in wear resistance was obtained by laser cladding.
The rheological properties of soybean paste suspensions as affected by concentrations and heating were studied. All suspensions of soybean paste showed thioxotropic plastic behavior. The concentrated suspensions below the ratio of water to soybean paste, 1.25 exhibited Figure-eight phenomena which were presented by two Intersections of the up curve with the dorm curve of shear rate. The dilute suspension (soybean paste: water=1:2) showed H type hysteresis loop at low temperature. But increasing the heating temperature above $60^{\circ}C$, the hysteresis loop exhibited a Figure eight phenomenon. Consistency index of the suspensions increased remarkably by heating and showed the highest value around isoelectric point of the protein. It was suggested that the proteinous nitrogen might be the main component taking part in viscous behavior under different pH and heat treatment.

Effects of four kinds of phosphate complex on the water holding capacity (W.H.C) and protein solubility of yellow-corvenia (Pseudosciance manchurica) and hair tail (Tichurus lepturus) meat paste were investigated. The formulations of four kinds of phosphate complex employed to this experiment were made by mixing several phosphates such as sodium polyphosphate, sodium pyro-phosphate, sodium acid pyro-phosphate, potassium pyro-phosphate, sodium tetra meta-phosphate, sodium ultra meta-phosphate and sodium hexa meta-phosphate, and monoglyceride at different mixture ratios. Among the four kinds of phosphate complex, phosphate B complex which was formulated by mixing sodium poly-phosphate 50%, sodium pyrophosphate 20%, sodium tetra meta-phosphate 20%, sodium acid pyrophosphate 5% and sodium ultra meta-phosphate 5% was most effective on enhancing the W.H.C and protein solubility of yellow corvenia meat paste, and in case of hair tail meat paste, phosphate C complex which was formulated by mining sodium poly-phosphate 40%, sodium pyro-phosphate 30%, potassium pyro-phosphate 15%, sodium tetra meta-phosphate 10%, and sodium hexa meta-phosphate 5% was more effective than other phosphate complex, and their optimum addition level was 0.4% respectively in weight of fish meat paste. Texture characteristics such as hardness, cohesiveness, and springiness value of Kamaboko (fish meat paste product) were evaluated as best when 0.3% of phosphate B complex was added. The optimum cooking condition of Kamaboko to get good texture was heating for 45 mimutes at $85^{\circ}C$.

In In this study, we measured the relative density and the compressive strength in order to select the appropriate W/B for the ultra-high strength concrete development. If W/B is lowered than the W/B of highest relative density, it was confirmed that the strength is lowered. However, if water is increased than the W/B, the relative density is decreased compressive strength was similar. The selection of the W/B of the lower than the highest relative density is not appropriate. Appropriate W/B is selected to be more than the maximum relative density of W/B. This was confirmed for TG-DTA.
