Media relations is one of the most important areas of PR in Korea. And PR business ethics is the cause of misunderstandings and complications in PR media relationship. Therefore, PR practitioners' perception about PR business ethics is important part. Along with the rapidly developing PR industry, the ethical aspects of PR are gradually being taken seriously in executing PR projects and activities. PR practitioners have the social responsibility to preserve media clean in media relations because they primarily keep various information of organizations. In order to guarantee peoples right to know and the free flow and the free flow of information, the PR ethics must be closely examined.
Occupational ethical awareness is a system of norms and standards of behavior and an important component of professionalism that affects organizational performance and commitment. The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effect of professionalism on the relationship between job ethics and organizational commitment of civil servants. A survey was conducted on 300 central government officials with more than one year of employment. 261 copies were used for the final analysis. The results are as follows. First, the vocational ethics of civil servants had a significant effect on professionalism. The higher the years of service, the higher the level of ethics. Second, the work ethic of public officials had a significant effect on organizational commitment. These results can be interpreted as the internal commitment of civil servants to the state of work ethic. Third, the mediating effect of professionalism was verified in the relationship between public morality and organizational commitment. Based on these results, the public ethics of public servants are the basis for accepting public values and goals. Vocational expertise with embedded codes of conduct and value systems influences organizational commitment. As a practical implication for improving the ethical ethics of public officials, education programs for improving ethical consciousness according to job titles and duties were provided, and the ethical ethical competence was presented.
Vocational education has been constantly blamed for training skills that are not suitable for the field. This study was sought for finding out the necessary skills for the hotel entry-level cooks by conducting in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and case studies in terms of NCS's basic competencies and competencies required at work environment. The results of this study are as follows: First, in the field, job performance ability is more important than skills and knowledge. Second, among the NCS's basic competencies, communication skills, interpersonal skills, self-development skills, information skills, and professional ethics are prioritized competencies for hotel-entry level cooks. Third, in terms of competency factors at work, it is necessary to learn the adaptability of the field. Fourth, in case of overseas culinary institutes, the core of their culinary education was the system to learn how to operate the site rather than the education about cooking skills or knowledge. Fifth, in holistic approach, the result showed that four elements which are skills, knowledge, field practice, and simulation training are required for Culinary Arts curriculum.
This research is to analyze ethics in fashion design for more valuable and sustainable human life against the increasing alienation of the human being, the global ecological crisis resulted from contemporary consumption society. I expect that it can be helpful to plan ethical fashion design practice more effectively. For this, the documentary study and practical case study have been executed. The results are as follows. The ethics in design can be defined as the responsibility to reform the social, environmental problem of consumptive design, to sustain together without human alienation, environment disruption and to do social good for total human being ultimately. The ethical design practice means to suggest solutions to problems of human rights and environment and to act willingly. Based on this, ethical fashion design appeared as responsible design solution which has two directions. One is the fashion design for coexistence and sharing, including the design for all which considers even underprivileged minority, the design to promote public issues as well as to donate some profits. The other is the eco fashion design for sustainable environment, including eco-friendly design which is reductive and slow in whole design process, the design to inform the seriousness of environmental crisis as well as to donate some profits. The last one of the most important ethical responsibility as fashion designer is to abide by vocational ethics, that is, the prohibition of design piracy.

This paper is based on the assumption that the sexual awareness and sexual behaviour of high school students would show the difference between an academic high school and a vocational high school. The main purpose of this paper is to provide basic information on establishing the direction of a realistic and efficient education, which leads to the desirable sex ethics eventually. To do this, a comparative study was carried out to figure out the difference between academic high school students and vocational high school students in terms of their actual awareness and behaviour of sex. I put the following two questions in order to achieve the goal of this study. First, what is the difference in sexual awareness between academic high school students and vocational high school students? Second, what is the difference in sexual behaviour between academic high school students and vocational high school students? The subjects of the survey conducted were 595 high school students in Kyunggi Province and I made the questionnaires referencing pre-studies. The SPSS program was used to get a frequency and a percentage from the results of the survey and then, by applying t-text, $x^2$ verification and interrelation, the following results were obtained. First, regarding sexual awareness, there wasn't much difference in their idea of keeping virginity before marriage between academic high school students and vocational high school students. From the results obtained by analyzing the interrelation between students and their parents and friends in terms of a will to keep virginity, it is found that there was a relevance in both academic high school and vocational high school. When they have a sex problem, it was friends that they are looking for consulting and both groups showed thesame result. But pertaining to an experience of a sex education, the comparative analysis indicated an meaningful difference. Second, as for sex behaviour, it was shown that there was a difference in the experience of going out with the other sex between academic high school students and vocational high school students as well as in the degree of physical touch. However, not much difference was shown in controlling a sex desire between the two groups. As a results of the comparative analysis of the sex experience between the two groups, there was a meaningful difference. In terms of the object of their sex experience, the majority of students in the two groups chose a friend as their first answer and there was little difference. From these results I can draw some conclusions that most of the students in both groups have a link with friends and parents in keeping their virginity. Furthermore, a meaningful difference in experiencing a sex education is presented between the two groups. With regard to the sex behaviour of high school students, a meaningful difference is shown in dating the other sex, a physical touch and a sex experience between the two groups. Consequently, we realize that there is a meaningful difference in some variants on the sexual awareness and sexual behaviour of high school students between academic high school and vocational high school.
Background: A study was conducted to check the occupational personality competency status of students enrolled in the three-year dental hygiene department and to understand the contents of vocational personality education to be prepared according to these results. Methods: For 240 students enrolled in the Department of Dental Hygiene in Area, Daegu, the College Student Occupational Personality Scale (OPSU) was administered. Results: The higher the major satisfaction (F=10.589, p<0.000) and the higher the major performance (F=3.704, p<0.01), the higher the vocational personality competency. The average occupational personality competency for job adaptation was 3.96±0.47 points (out of 5 points). As for the average for each sub-area, consideration was the highest at 4.51±0.42, and confidence was the lowest at 3.54±0.84. Among professional personality competencies, the average of each sub-area showed the highest positive correlation in the order of positivity (r=0.835, p<0.00), reliability (r=0.769, p<0.00), and community consciousness (r=0.767, p<0.00), and consideration (r=0.696, p<0.00) showed the lowest correlation. Conclusions: Personalized career and employment education should be provided in consideration of the individual occupational personality level of dental hygiene students considering the characteristics of the health and medical fields, and individual counseling should be provided in areas that are insufficient or supplemented. In addition, dental hygiene ethics education is necessary for the development of vocational personality competencies in the dental hygiene curriculum, and universities should spare no support for completing vocational personality education programs in preparation for the future society by using comparative programs.
The purpose of this study is to develop the competency model of specialized vocational school teachers as admission officers. Whereas professional admission officers deal with a variety of admission activities in universities, teachers are responsible for admission duties in specialized high schools in Korea. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the core competencies required for teachers responsible for admission duties in specialized high school settings. In order to develop a competency model, factor analysis was completed for the survey results of 191 teachers who teach in specialized vocational high schools in Seoul, Korea. For evaluating validity of the competency model, the responses from those who had high experiences in admission duties and the average teachers were compared. As a result, this study identified a total of 14 competencies in three competency areas. The competencies required for specialized high school teachers include responsibilities for admission officers, ethics for evaluators, communication skills, teamwork, understandings of admissions process for specialized vocational high school, developing evaluation criteria, generating interview questions, increasing interrater reliability, interview skills, simultaneous evaluation of interviewees, quantification of evaluation results, synthesis of evaluation results, and decision making skills.
The objective of this study was to prepare the baseline data for vocational key competence of radiologists by analyzing the communication skills, problem-solving skills, self-development capability, interpersonal skills, and vocational ethics, which are required by NCS job descriptions for radiologists, of college students majoring in radiology. This study surveyed 79 sophomore and junior college students majoring in radiology at S University from Nov 19 to Nov 30, 2018, using questionnaires and analyzed the levels of vocational key competencies. The analysis results of vocational key competences levels showed that the level of interpersonal skills was the highest (71.2 points for juniors and 74.9 points for seniors). The levels of problem-solving skills and self-development capability were low. Conflict management capability, which is a sub-domain of interpersonal skills, was 77.5 and 80.5 points for juniors and seniors, respectively, which were the highest, while leadership ability was the lowest. When the sub-domains of self-development capability were analyzed, self-recognition capability was the highest (70.0 points for juniors and 74.8 points for seniors) and the career development capability was the lowest. Colleges are required to develop a customized regular curriculum that is well-linked to the clinic in order to improve the vocational key competencies required by the NCS job description to prepare for the blind hiring process. Colleges also put efforts to educate radiologists who can actively cope with rapidly changing medical environment by running various non-regular programs.
Purpose: This research aims to investigate the impact of corporate integrity on stock price crash risk. Research design, data, and methodology: Taking 1419 firms listed in Shenzhen Stock Exchange in China as a sample, this paper empirically analyzed the relationship between corporate integrity and stock price crash risk. The main integrity data was hand-collected from Shenzhen Stock Exchange Website. Other financial data was collected from CSMAR Database. Results: Findings show that corporate integrity can significantly decrease stock price crash risk. After changing the selection of samples, model estimation methods and the proxy variable of stock price crash risk, the conclusion is still valid. Further research shows that the relationship between corporate integrity and stock price crash risk is only found in firms with weak internal control and firms in poor legal system areas. Conclusions: Results of the study suggest that corporate integrity has a significant influence on behaviors of managers. Business ethics reduces the likelihood of managers to overstate financial performance and hide bad news, which leads to the low likelihood of future stock price crashes. Meanwhile, corporate integrity can supplement internal control and legal system in decreasing stock price crash risks.
Purpose: PBM is emerging as a major management system for securing corporate productivity and enhancing competitiveness, and various studies are being conducted. The purpose of this study is to analyze research trends published in KCI-listed journals and papers since 1999 to understand the current status of research and provide basic data for more extensive research and development of performance management in the future. Research design, data and methodology: A detailed examination of research trends was conducted through the analysis of abstracts from 154 research papers on PBM. To facilitate a comprehensive analysis of these trends, LDA topic modelling was employed. Results: First, it should be noted that research on PBM is not limited to the area of HRM. Instead, PBM research is expanding to encompass comprehensive personnel systems. Second, the results of topic modeling analysis show that although the initial focus of research was on human resource management, there is now a growing interest in fairness and organizational culture in the entire organization. Conclusions: PBM is becoming a dominant paradigm as it shifts from HR systems to organizational fairness and culture. This suggests that future research should consider both quantitative and qualitative aspects of PBM to improve corporate performance while prioritizing organizational fairness and culture.
