Education has recently witnessed a rapid increase in the use of edutech worldwide. This study focuses on Korean workers and explores an edutech-based learning model for vocational education and training. Based on analyses of edutech cases and interviews with edutech experts, a draft edutech model was designed and the validity was evaluated based on two Delphi surveys with a panel of experts in the field. The study's findings suggest that edutech-based employee education and training should prioritize LXP orientation (last CVR=1, last Mean=4.70) , implement adaptive learning through learning analytics (last CVR=1, last Mean=4.90), enhance the human touch effect using edutech (last CVR=1, last Mean=4.90), and emphasize the importance of designing curricula that apply edutech in a step-by-step learning process while incorporating suitable instructional design for the key technologies involved in vocational training programs. In addition, it was revealed that there is a strong need to implement a method that makes each stage of the learning process more effective (before, during, and after). Edutech-based vocational training program should consider the interests of all stakeholders, including learners, instructors, vocational training institutions, and government agencies. Given the promotion of government-sponsored vocational training projects in Korea, the findings of this research are likely to have significant implications for the future of Korea's education and training policies.

This study examines the paradigm shift in vocational training with the introduction of remote training, which has been conducted fragmentarily by project, to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. It analyzes the operation's problems and limitations by dividing the remote training process from assessment to budget execution by subject, stage, and procedure. Additionally, it collects various stakeholders' opinions to propose improvement plans for the vocational training support system to effectively respond to the paradigm shift in vocational training in the digital and non-face-to-face era. The study assumes that the assessment of training institutions and the training process should be innovated in a way that can accommodate the direction of vocational training in the digital and non-face-to-face era instead of focusing on traditional collective training. Based on this premise, it suggests ways to enhance the pre-approval screening system and the training institution assessment system.

The purpose of this study is to derive implications for establishing vocational training education policies in Korea by investigating COVID-19 countermeasures in the United States, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Singapore, which are representative vocational education training countries. The implications derived from the survey of leading countries in vocational education training are as follows. First, in order to respond to COVID-19, face-to-face vocational education training was quickly converted to online education. Second, the system was strengthened to overcome the crisis of the apprenticeship system, especially the British and Australian governments established a special budget for the apprenticeship system. Third, due to COVID-19, blended learning has become a new standard education model, accelerating the digitalization of vocational education training. Finally, leading countries in vocational education training are promoting the development of the edutech industry to support online education. This provides important implications for the direction of change in vocational education training in South Korea.

IT vocational training teachers in ICT develop an important role in helping the unemployed and job seekers to move beyond job skills delivery to enable people to live with others. In order to analyze the vocational identity and vocational adaptation process of IT vocational training teachers, we selected the qualitative research methods of ethnography and selected IT vocational training teachers of D training institution in Daejeon. This study is meaningful in that it explored the inner world of teachers' vocational consciousness and identity which had not been studied in the vocational training and education field.

This study attempts to develop a methodology that analyzes patent applications to identify future skills, in particular in the sector of information security, recently into the spotlight. Matching skill elements from the International Patent Classification (IPC) with skill units from job analysis, the study tries to track trends in the skills needs based on IPC time-pattern. It then verifies the validity of the outlook for future skills needs by addressing the situation through the use of patents. The research assesses the usability of patent information for this type of analysis. While this study is limited to the information security sector by using Korean patent information, it can be expanded in the future to other areas and patents in the United States and Europe.

This study examined performance-related competencies for vocational training teachers and development process of Competency-Based Curriculum(CBC). Based on literature review of competencies, education and training of vocational training teachers, we developed competency modeling integrating job analysis, Behavioral Event Interview for vocational training teachers and Competency Dictionary and analyzed validity of competency modeling and competency need and proposed education and training program across competencies and training module. Finally we proposed necessary operating and management methods to effectively develop competencies for vocational training teachers using CBC.

This research was conducted as a part of research project entitled 'A Fact-finding Survey of Management of Vocational Training Institutes and the Development of Training Program Model for their CEO'. The purpose of this paper was to investigate developing strategies for vocational training institutes in three sector; public institute, private institute and private academy for life long education and to develop practical and professional programs based on competencies model of CEO. The major subjects of this paper were developing strategies of three type of vocational training institutes, exploration of competencies of CEO, and training program for CEO. Delphi method was applied two times. The panel consists of 30 experts who relate to vacational training. The panel of experts emphasized the different own mission and function among three type of vocational institutes. Public institutes support the government policy and private institutes and academy. Private institutes develop specialized training programs that reflect the regional demand. Private academies focus on short-term service training. To recognize changing vocational training policy, to develop vision of institute, ethical mind and sense of mission and so on are presented as competencies of CEO.

The purposes of this research are to analysis and diagnosis the actual condition of vocational ability development training for juveniles delinquent occupational capability development of juveniles who are assorted as a socially disadvantaged group and to suggest the remedies for their successful return to normal social life. In order to accomplish these purpose of the research, we involved in vocational training teachers(23) and trained for more a month to juvenile delinquents(533) such as surveys. Both of them focused on improvement of strengthen for vocational training, complementary learning of juvenile delinquents and securing experts.

This study was conducted to examine the remuneration curriculum of vocational ability development training teachers and instructors and to examine ways to apply micro credentials. To this end, the current status of the remuneration curriculum of vocational ability development training instructors and instructors at K University's Competency Education Development Institute, the characteristics of micro credentials, and the possibility of linking the remuneration curriculum to micro credentials are as follows. First, most of the recognition of digital certificates was positive for digital certificates such as digital credit, digital badge issuance, and recognition of the recognized qualification process of maintenance education when completing the training course. In addition, as a method of applying micro credentials to conservative education, various cases were proposed to benefit from conservative education, systematization and grading of the qualification process, and credit of the qualification process. Second, as an institutional supplement to enhance the utilization of conservative education using micro credentials, the need to expand NCS-based major conservative education, provide efficient learning contents and learning methods, and set minimum completion time. In addition, the most common response as a way to improve the understanding of teachers and instructors in vocational ability development training was the micro credential promotion plan. Third, in the role of conservative education institutions and vocational ability development training instructors and instructors, conservative education institutions mention maintaining educational quality the most, and active participation was the role of vocational ability development training instructors. Through this study, it is expected to establish a vocational training environment that can enhance expertise and provide a practical portfolio of practical competency history by linking the remuneration curriculum of vocational competency development training instructors and micro credentials.

The purpose of this study was to identify the factors influencing vocational training participation among individuals aged 65 and older in order to enhance their employability. According to the research findings, the educational background and economic activity status of the elderly significantly impact their participation in vocational training. It was confirmed that economic activity and vocational training are closely related to the capacity development and increased employability of the elderly. Moreover, a considerable number of elderly individuals express a continued desire to work, and this group tends to participate more in vocational training. This underscores the importance of promoting vocational training among the elderly and developing suitable models, which holds significant policy implications. Logistic regression analysis revealed that gender, education, economic activity, desire to work, and pension income affect participation in vocational training. This highlights the necessity of formulating specific strategies in government support policies, particularly for those with lower educational backgrounds. Additionally, the study emphasizes the importance of approaches that encourage vocational training participation, especially among those with lower pension income.
