Objectives: Augmented reality (AR) technology has become rapidly available and is suitable for various medical applications since it can provide effective visualization of intricate anatomical structures inside the human body. This paper describes the procedure to develop an AR app with Unity3D and Vuforia software development kit and publish it to a smartphone for the localization of critical tissues or organs that cannot be seen easily by the naked eye during surgery. Methods: In this study, Vuforia version 6.5 integrated with the Unity Editor was installed on a desktop computer and configured to develop the Android AR app for the visualization of internal organs. Three-dimensional segmented human organs were extracted from a computerized tomography file using Seg3D software, and overlaid on a target body surface through the developed app with an artificial marker. Results: To aid beginners in using the AR technology for medical applications, a 3D model of the thyroid and surrounding structures was created from a thyroid cancer patient's DICOM file, and was visualized on the neck of a medical training mannequin through the developed AR app. The individual organs, including the thyroid, trachea, carotid artery, jugular vein, and esophagus were localized by the surgeon's Android smartphone. Conclusions: Vuforia software can help even researchers, students, or surgeons who do not possess computer vision expertise to easily develop an AR app in a user-friendly manner and use it to visualize and localize critical internal organs without incision. It could allow AR technology to be extensively utilized for various medical applications.
Accounts from therapeutic culture seem often to associate the selfish, or at least self-centered quest for self-fulfillment with individual choice or satisfaction, self-expression, expressive individualism, and emotionalism. These associations point to the downside of therapy as they present it as constituting a culture of narcissism, selfishness, or irresponsibility. While some of these characterizations contain useful insights, they overlook what are maybe some of the most important features of a therapeutic outlook. This paper aims to reveal that the therapeutic imperative is not so much geared towards the realization of self-fulfillment, as it is the promotion of self-limitation. Therapeutic culture tends to posit the self in a fragile and feeble form and insist that the management of life requires the continuous intervention of therapeutic expertise. Because of this, the elevated concern with the self is underpinned by anxiety, pain, suffering, and survival, rather than seen as a positive vision of realizing the human potential. Therapeutic culture has in this way helped to construct a diminished sense of self by which one is seen as suffering from an emotional deficit and vulnerability. This paper demonstrates this downside of therapeutic culture concerning self-limitation and the sense of a diminished self by examining popular "misery memoirs." Misery memoirs are widely consumed by the general public, therefore tend to be treated by contemporary therapeutic culture as a gospel on the therapeutic ideal for self-fulfillment and self-discovery. This is, despite the existence of hidden evidence to the contrary, because of their redemptive, happy endings that show individuals overcoming difficult trials such as child abuse, incestuous rape, and domestic violence. Individual self-fulfillment and self-discovery in such stories are not achieved through the active agency of the subject but through the passive endurance of pathological symptoms and with the aid of expertise and outside support. Therefore, such stories put victims in the limited position.

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic (the form of coronaviruses) developed at the end of 2019 and spread rapidly to almost every corner of the world. It has infected around 25,334,339 of the world population by the end of September 1, 2020 [1] . It has been spreading ever since, and the peak specific to every country has been rising and falling and does not seem to be over yet. Currently, the conventional RT-PCR testing is required to detect COVID-19, but the alternative method for data archiving purposes is certainly another choice for public departments to make. Researchers are trying to use medical images such as X-ray and Computed Tomography (CT) to easily diagnose the virus with the aid of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based software. Method: This review paper provides an investigation of a newly emerging machine-learning method used to detect COVID-19 from X-ray images instead of using other methods of tests performed by medical experts. The facilities of computer vision enable us to develop an automated model that has clinical abilities of early detection of the disease. We have explored the researchers' focus on the modalities, images of datasets for use by the machine learning methods, and output metrics used to test the research in this field. Finally, the paper concludes by referring to the key problems posed by identifying COVID-19 using machine learning and future work studies. Result: This review's findings can be useful for public and private sectors to utilize the X-ray images and deployment of resources before the pandemic can reach its peaks, enabling the healthcare system with cushion time to bear the impact of the unfavorable circumstances of the pandemic is sure to cause
The purposes of this study which was done by questionnaire survey and case study of First Aid Certification Program in Seoul Health College were to analyze results and effects of the college financial support program from Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development. The significant 164 data were collected from 300 professors in 8 colleges having the Department of Emergency Care from Oct. 1, 2002 to Dec. 31, 2002 and analyzed using SPSS in terms of t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and so on. The conclusions and suggestions from this study were summarized as follows; (1) Degree of acknowledgement about aims, contents, results of the college financial support program was above the middle(participants 4.21, non-participants 3.63) and higher relation than the others in case of participants(r:0.32 p<0.001), planning team(r:0.22 p<0.05). (2) Degree of acknowledgement about improvement of curriculum & educational facilities through the program was above the middle and higher relation than the others in case of participants. (3) Degree of acknowledgement about positive influence on acquirement rate of certification(licence) & job through the program was above the middle and performance & adaptation at work place was higher relation than the others in case of participants. (4) Degree of acknowledgement about positive influence on improvement of learning of student's major through the program was above the middle and higher relation than the others in case of participants. (5) The respondents thought that the program had a negative influence on professor's educational activities & research such as study 40.4%, lecture 23.1%, student guidance 12.5%. (6) When the program was administered by planning team, there were difficulties such as execution of budget 42.1%, cooperation with companies 17.1%, cooperation among program teams 11.8%, when it was administered by non-planning team there were difficulties such as execution of budget 45.5%, cooperation among departments 22.7%, cooperation with companies 13.6%. (7) Because it was too short to execute the budget, the ministry have to select proposed programs before the next school year. (8) This program should be changed temporary, insufficient support into consecutive, sufficient support for more characterization & specialization of the college which has a long-term developmental plan & vision.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the types of domestic safety accidents involving children and to verify the difference of safety knowledge according to variables of parents. Subjects include 226 parents who have 3-5 year old infants enrolled in kindergartens and day care centers in I-city, Jeollabuk-do. The study tools are modified and complemented questionnaire for the study purpose referred to the preceding research data and the literature. For the processing of collected data, frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, and the Duncan post-test were utilized using the SPSS program. The results of this study are as follows: First, safety accidents occurred at the majority of homes which have infant children. On average, the occurrence frequency was 1.78 times per six months. The accidents involving infants occurred in the order of drop or slip, crash or impact, stricture or jamming, fall, stab or cut, burn, swallow or inhalation. Second, both parents had an average level of safety knowledge. There was a distinction in the areas of 'fall' and 'first aid' according the mother's age. In addition, stay-at-home mothers had the higher level of safety knowledge compared with working mothers in the areas of 'general safety knowledge' and 'fire'. There was a distinction in the area of 'fire' according to the father's age. Given these findings, safety training programs for parents to improve safety knowledge needs to be developed.

This is a single group pre-post study conducted to confirm the effectiveness of HIV/AIDS education for nursing students, imparted via video-learning methods. Study participants enrolled were 93 students in the 4th grade of the Department of Nursing at J-City V University. Data were collected from May 26 to June 16, 2020, and were analyzed using descriptive statistics, paired t-test, independent t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation coefficient using the SPSS WIN 23.0 program. Results of this study confirm improvements in HIV/AIDS knowledge and attitude after attending video-learning modules. However, when assessing the details of attitude, insufficient data was obtained for difference in attitude toward social stigma recognition. Therefore, numerous attempts are required for imparting educational contents and methods that will positively alter social stigma recognition. The results of this study prove that video lectures are a useful teaching and learning method to transform the knowledge and attitude of nursing students towards HIV/AIDS. We believe that results obtained are meaningful, and provide a basis for imparting education by utilizing different media, such as a video-learning module.
Even in recent years, treatment of first-aid patients is still often delayed due to a shortage of medical resources in marginalized areas. Research on automating the analysis of medical data to solve the problems of inaccessibility for medical services and shortage of medical personnel is ongoing. Computer vision-based medical inspection automation requires a lot of cost in data collection and labeling for training purposes. These problems stand out in the works of classifying lesion that are rare, or pathological features and pathogenesis that are difficult to clearly define visually. Anomaly detection is attracting as a method that can significantly reduce the cost of data collection by adopting an unsupervised learning strategy. In this paper, we propose methods for detecting abnormal images on chest X-RAY images as follows based on existing anomaly detection techniques. (1) Normalize the brightness range of medical images resampled as optimal resolution. (2) Some feature vectors with high representative power are selected in set of patch features extracted as intermediate-level from lesion-free images. (3) Measure the difference from the feature vectors of lesion-free data selected based on the nearest neighbor search algorithm. The proposed system can simultaneously perform anomaly classification and localization for each image. In this paper, the anomaly detection performance of the proposed system for chest X-RAY images of PA projection is measured and presented by detailed conditions. We demonstrate effect of anomaly detection for medical images by showing 0.705 classification AUROC for random subset extracted from the PadChest dataset. The proposed system can be usefully used to improve the clinical diagnosis workflow of medical institutions, and can effectively support early diagnosis in medically poor area.

The study sought to find out the actual process of adapting to social life through interviews with college students and adult women living as defectors in the South, and to find out how it would be desirable to move forward in terms of education in order for all of our lives to be happy. The method of research consisted of semi-structured interviews. The interview period was four months. Based on the results of the interview, the following conclusions are given. First, it is necessary to establish a direction for strengthening cooperation rather than conflict in education, and restoring homogeneity of the same people. It is also true that real challenges are not easy at a time when the fratricidal war like the 6.25 conflict has deepened the conflict. However, at this point, 65 years later, the nation cannot stay only in the past. Second, the perception that they disapprove of economic aid to North Korean defectors also exists in part among adults. Third, negative thoughts about reunification among South Koreans also appear relatively high. This is believed to be due to the argument that the growth of social welfare and economic growth is offset by the increase in unification costs. Fourth, the content of living in real life such as culture and art, along with knowledge-oriented education in school education, should be treated with the same weight. This should create an environment in which North Korean defectors can enjoy the same happiness as South Koreans.
This study is to know the Enhancement of Aviation Safety for Low Cost Carrier in Korea through the long and mid term air safety policy. Especially, the aviation safety authorities of the developed countries in aviation establish action plans under the system plan of central government. Then the countries implement those plans systematically to the related aviation business so that they promote efficient air safety policy implementation. At this time, the Korean government should present the vision about an air safety and systematic strategic plan to cope with the future aviation industry change. Also, it is needed to establish a specific aviation safety action plan. Namely, an air safety master plan and long-term road map must be established. This paper deduces some implications through the abroad cases of aviation safety plan, and then tries to find the applying method of the implications to Korea in the rapidly changing aviation market in the 21st century. It is expected that this paper will help the Korean aviation industry to play a major role in the future. In oder to get suggestions aviation policies of advanced countries with regard to aviation safety, we have looked at the aviation policies of the U.S., the U.K., Australia and Japan, and also LCC's states overseas, LCC's safety policies in Korea, and aviation safety status. Since existing LCCs and new LCCs based in Korea have become the new concept, this new market for LCC has been booming recently. Around Southeast Asia, while there are some LCCs including Air Asia which is supported by the government of Malaysia with emphasis on safety, there are other LCCs, which have failed to achieve confidence in safety and have led to aircraft accidents and financial mismanagement, so we need to verify the safety of overseas LCCs, try to improve domestic LCCs in order to fly international routes and aid international aviation safety. LCCs have been increasing lately thanks to open skies policy and a wide variety of flights.lines. Air Busan, Jin Air, Jeju air, Eastar Air are in service. so the risk of new potential hazards may increase. Therefore it is necessary to take the initiative in aviation markets inside and outside of Korea and the safety management of new LCCs should be taken more seriously than ever before. Among overseas aviation safety policies, we need to implement the FAA's Filght Plan which has a specific Business Plan. I hope this thesis will help improve aviation safety locally and internationally.
