가상훈련 콘텐츠를 사용한 온라인 교육의 사례 연구 (Case Study of Online Education Using Virtual Training Content)

  • 최근에는 가상현실 기술의 급격한 발전으로 인해 현실세계에서 직접 경험하지 못하는 상황을 실감적으로 체험하는 것에 대한 요구가 더욱 증대하고 있다. 특히 고위험, 고비용의 산업훈련을 대체하는 장비실습에 대한 체험형 가상훈련 콘텐츠 요구가 증대되고 있다. 그러나 가상훈련 교육은 일반적인 기술교육과정과는 그 목적이나 효과가 다르기 때문에 가상훈련 콘텐츠로 하나의 연수 과정을 대체하는 것이 아니라 교보재로 일부 활용하거나 이러닝 콘텐츠와 결합하여 이용하면 더욱 효과적이라는 것이 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 대학의 온라인평생교육원에서 이러닝 콘텐츠와 결합된 방식으로 2017년에 개발된 장비실습형 가상훈련 콘텐츠인 전기유압 서보제어 과정 및 유사한 과정에 대해 효과적 활용을 위한 개발 방법을 탐색하고 교수학습 전략을 수립하기 위하여 가상훈련 콘텐츠를 사용한 수업사례를 실제로 개발 운영해 보고 해당 수업에서 적용한 교수 학습 전략들이 학생들에게 미치는 영향과 교육적 유용성을 설문 및 사례연구를 통해 조사한다.

  • 최근 몇 년간 가상현실(VR, Virtual Reality) 기술의 등장은 안전교육의 새로운 모델을 제공하여 사용자로 하여금 가상 안전교육 환경에서 재난에 대한 지식습득 및 대응을 가능하게 한다. 그러나 현재 국내외의 연구개발과 관련된 관련 VR 제품은 비교적 간단하고, 특정 사고에 대한 실질적인 교육 방안이 없으며, 안전교육에서 충분히 역할을 할 수 있을 만큼 실용성적이지 않다. 본 논문에서는 재난의 유형 중 자동차 사고를 예시로, 자동차 안전교육 분야에서 적용된 VR 기술의 문제점과 단점을 고찰하고, VR 기술을 기반으로 한 자동차 안전교육의 시스템 프레임워크를 제안하고자 한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 자동차 안전교육 시스템은 이용자가 운전 안전의식을 향상시키고, 운전 시 안전지식을 습득하며, 자동차 안전교육에 매우 중요한 운전 안전기술을 습득하는 데 도움이 될 것이라 사료된다. 또한, VR 기술을 기반으로 한 안전교육의 설계와 제작방식은 VR 기술과 통합하여 관련 교재 제품을 개발하고 최종적으로 교육을 도입한다면 현대 교육 교학 이론의 적용에 중요한 참고적 의미를 갖으리라 사료된다.

  • The Internet technology has been recognized not only as a tool far communication in the 21st century but also as an environment for enabling changes in the paradigm of teaching and learning. This paper describes a web-based system development for chemical engineering education. Simulation and visualization of dynamic systems in the environment of a standard web-browser is made possible by extending its capabilities. ActiveX control is used to simulate the system tool far online representation of Virtual Lab. System that is developed using visual basic. The courseware is classified into tutorial, exercises, and virtual experiments.

  • This paper proposes a graphical user interface for industrial robot systems. Previous user interfaces for industrial robot systems were based on the text. In order to enable operators to handle robots more efficiently, a set of graphical tools is provided. The graphical tools contain a control panel for operating robots and compiling robot programs, a graphical teaching panel for handling virtual robots and a graphical monitoring panel for checking robot status. Furthermore, the proposed GUI can be used to operate remote robots because it has network utilities. This system consists of the virtual mode and the real mode. The user can handle a 3D virtual solid model of the robot in the virtual mode and an actual robot in the real mode.

Reflections on Application of VR Technology in Field of News Media

  • In recent years, virtual reality (VR) technology has been widely used in many industrial fields, especially in the fields of medical treatment, games, film and television, to improve the interaction between medical teaching and practical treatment. On the gaming side, the production of virtual reality gaming screens and scenes became increasingly popular, greatly expanding the form of the visual experience. But VR is no longer confined to the health care, education and entertainment industries. During this time, the news media industry has also begun to integrate virtual reality into interviews and user interactions. This study aims to analyze the development of VR technology from the perspectives of immersive VR news experience, real reporting, and prospects, and analyze and think about the interactive participation of media users, the transformation of traditional media, and the upgrading of practitioners' roles.

  • Background As the coronavirus disease 2019 virus made its way throughout the world, there was a complete overhaul of our day-to-day personal and professional lives. All aspects of health care were affected including academics. During the pandemic, teaching opportunities for resident training were drastically reduced. Consequently, medical universities in many parts across the globe implemented online learning, in which students are taught remotely and via digital platforms. Given these developments, evaluating the existing mode of teaching via digital platforms as well as incorporation of new models is critical to improve and implement. Methods We reviewed different online learning platforms used to continue regular academic teaching of the plastic surgery residency curriculum. This study compares the four popular Web conferencing platforms used for online learning and evaluated their suitability for providing plastic surgery education. Results In this study with a response rate of 59.9%, we found a 64% agreement rate to online classes being more convenient than normal classroom teaching. Conclusion Zoom was the most user-friendly, with a simple and intuitive interface that was ideal for online instruction. With a better understanding of factors related to online teaching and learning, we will be able to deliver quality education in residency programs in the future.

온라인 설계 맵핑을 이용한 웹 기반 디지털 논리 회로 가상 실험 시스템의 구현 (Implementation of a Web-based Virtual Laboratory System for Digital Logic Circuits Using Online Schematic Mapping)

  • In this paper, we implemented a web-based virtual laboratory system(VLab system) with creative and interactive multimedia contents, which can be used to enhance the quality of education in the area of digital logic circuits. Since the proposed VLab system is implemented to describe the on-campus laboratory, the learners can obtain similar experimental data through it. Also, the VLab system is designed to increase the learning and teaching efficiencies of both the learners and the educators, respectively. The learners will be able to achieve high teaming standard and the educators save their time and labor. The virtual experiments on our VLab system are performed according to the following procedure: (1) Circuit composition on the virtual bread board (2). Applying input voltage (3) Output measurements (4) Checkout of experiment results. Furthermore, the circuit composition on the virtual bread board and its corresponding online schematic diagram are displayed together on the VLab system for the learner's convenience. Finally, we have obtained several affirmative effects such as reducing the total experimental hours and the damage rate for experimental equipments and increasing learning efficiencies as well as faculty productivity.

로봇 OLP 보상을 위한 시각 서보잉 응용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Visual Servoing Application for Robot OLP Compensation)

  • It is necessary to improve the exactness and adaptation of the working environment in the intelligent robot system. The vision sensor have been studied for this reason fur a long time. However, it is very difficult to perform the camera and robot calibrations because the three dimensional reconstruction and many processes are required for the real usages. This paper suggests the image based visual servoing to solve the problem of old calibration technique and supports OLP(Off-Line-Programming) path compensation. Virtual camera can be modeled from the real factors and virtual images obtained from virtual camera gives more easy perception process. Also, Initial path generated from OLP could be compensated by the pixel level acquired from the real and virtual, respectively. Consequently, the proposed visually assisted OLP teaching remove the calibration and reconstruction process in real working space. With a virtual simulation, the better performance is observed and the robot path error is calibrated by the image differences.

Effectiveness of using Cognitive Virtual Tours based on Marzano Model to Develop the Achievement and Historical Research Skills for Secondary School Students

  • The study aimed to measure the effectiveness of using Cognitive virtual tours based on Marzano model to develop the achievement and some of historical research Skills for secondary school students. To achieve the objectives of the study, the experimental method was used and two study groups consisted of (60) students were divided into two groups, one is Control (30) students and the other is in experimental (30) students at Alsalam secondary in Ismailia Governorate. The study used several tools: The experimental processing tool of Cognitive Virtual tours based on Marzano model, Cognitive achievement test for the first unit of Secondary first grade history Course. Historical research skills. The finding of the study showed the effectiveness of using cognitive virtual tours based on Marzano model in developing the achievement and some of historical research skills for first grade secondary students which there are Statistically differences at level (0.01) between the average scores of the students in (experimental and Control) groups in post application for Cognitive achievement test. Practical application of the study can contribute to clarify how to use Cognitive virtual tours based on Marzano model in teaching history, and Draw the attention of history developers to the development of historical research skills.

현장체험학습을 위한 가상학습 기반 수업모형의 설계 및 적용 (Design and Application of a Virtual Reality based Teaching Model for Field Based Learning Activities)

  • 우리나라의 교육시스템은 최근에 자율과 창의에 바탕을 둔 자기 주도적 학습력 배양을 위해서 재량활동영역을 확대하고, 교과 학습에서 직접 체험하기 어려고 현장학습을 통해서만 얻을 수 있는 학습내용들을 배울 수 있도록 다양한 현장학습을 권장하고 있다. 실제로 현장학습을 하도록 권장하고 있으나 학교에서는 시간적 여유 부족, 비용, 날씨, 안전 관련과 같은 문제점들로 현장학습이 확대, 실천되어 이루어지고 있지 않다. 이러한 문제점을 극복하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 가상현실 도구를 활용한 현장학습모델을 개발하였다. 개발된 현장학습모델을 사용하여 서울 시내 초등학교 4학년 학생들을 대상으로 수업을 진행하였다. 수업한 결과 대부분의 학생들이 수업에 적극적으로 참여하였으며 재미있어 했고 또한 한 한기동안 학업성적이 향상되는 결과를 보였다.
