시각, 청각과 복잡계 기반 뇌과학에 근거한 총명개념과 총명탕 연구 (A Study on Concept of Chongmyeong and Chongmyeong-tang Based on Visual, Auditory Sense and Brain Science Based on Complex System)

  • Objectives : This study was designed to signpost the study of brain, intelligence and memory, while interpreting the concept of 'Chongmyeong(聰明)' neotrically and linking it to the clinic of Korean medicine. Methods : In this paper, the meaning of the word 'Chongmyeong(聰明)' is divided into two parts, intelligence and memory. We also explored the relationship between brain science and 'Chongmyeong(聰明)' based on complex system theory, cognitive science and embodied cognition. Results : Through the process of refining the concept of 'Chongmyeong(聰明)' neoterically, we proposed the new method to understand the concept of 'Chongmyeong(聰明)'. Conclusions : The concept of 'Chongmyeong(聰明)' should be interpreted not as a reductionistic viewpoint of brain science but as a viewpoint of brain science based on visual and auditory system and complex system. Human cognition is physically embodied in the environment, from the viewpoint of embodied cognition that it is constituted and formed in an interactive context with society and culture connected with the environment.

뜨고 가라앉는 현상에 대한 과정적 관점 설명방식에 대한 교사들의 인식 (Teachers' Perceptions of Explanatory Method Based-on Process Viewpoint for Floating and Sinking Phenomena)

  • 본 연구는 기존의 밀도라는 개념은 현상에 대한 원인자를 제공하는데 한계점이 있으며, 부력이라는 개념은 많은 오개념을 갖고 있고 정량적 계산을 이해하기 위해 지나치게 어려운 개념이 필요함에 문제를 제기하여 지레의 원리를 적용한 과정적 관점의 새로운 설명방식을 제안하였다. 새로운 설명방식은 중력이라는 근본원리와 과정적 관점이 드러나도록 지레라는 가시적 도구를 활용하여 제안되었다. 연구결과, 교사들은 많은 대안개념에 머물러 있었으며 밀도가 중력과 관련됨을 인식하는 교사는 절반이상 되지 않았다. 뿐만 아니라 이 현상을 물질적 관점으로 이해하면서 관점과 불일치하게 인식하였으나 수업처치 후 유의미한 개념 변화를 하였다(p<.000). 또한, 기존의 설명방식에 비해 원리와 과정적 관점을 잘 인식할 수 있다는 평가를 하였다. 이를 통해 지레의 원리를 도입한 과정적 과점의 설명방식에 대한 교육적 가치를 확인할 수 있었다.

증명에서 경험적 관점의 한계에 대한 중학교 3학년 학생들의 이해 연구 (A study on the understanding of limitations of experiential viewpoints for 9th grade students)

  • The mathematical object is conceptual. Thus we can not prove the property of mathematical object in experimental viewpoint but in conceptual viewpoint. We performed the experiment for 28 middle school students to investigate whether they understand this. As a result, the majority of student didn't cognize the limit of experimental method. We had also individual interviews with four students. As results, one student was exactly cognizing the limit of experimental method, but he couldn't prove logically. The others didn't cognize the limit of experimental method. They thought that the proposition was already true regardless of the error. And one of them even thought that to be equal approximately was the same of to be equal exactly. Also, one student has confused between the experimental viewpoint and the conceptual viewpoint. This implies that it is necessary to help students understand the limit of experimental method.

미학적 공간인식에 따른 건축공간개념의 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Change of Concept in Architectural Space following the Aesthetic Cognition of Space)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the architectural space of modern and contemporary architecture which has been changed by the aesthetic cognition on space. The intention of considering architectural space aesthetically is to convert the viewpoint of seeing space as simple physical structure into different viewpoint of regarding 'space' as 'cultural place' However this does not means to apply aesthetic theory to architectural space. The aesthetic cognition on space is one of the main subjects of the expression of art from ancient to today however the appearance of space concept as architectural aesthetics accelerated by G. Semper theory after the latter half of 19th century. On the standpoint of perpetuity in architecture the aesthetics of scientific rationalism in modernism based on the reasonable thinking regards the variety of inherent characteristic in architectural space as 'Transferential Space'. On the other hand, in regarding to architectural trend, the nature in architectural space has been considered as 'Existential Space' starting from the conscious construction of environments to help human existence in the existentialism. The Conclusion logic of follows as belows; first, the concept of space structure in architecture has been exchanged from Enclosed Space to Topological Space. Second, the concept of architectural space has been changed and developed to the Deterministic, Profound, Dissipative, and Recognizable Space according to the change of expression in architecture.

  • Construction industry recognizes the necessity to manage is business from viewpoint of processes, and consider developing, evaluating and improving standard processes as important managerial target. SW-CMM provides basic framework for this process management. However, appropriate tailoring and adjustment are essential for SW-CMM concept to be applied to construction business. SW-CMM makes construction manager understand the capability of business process, based on which the priority of process improvement is judged. The capability is prescribed by common features. This paper introduces the basic frame for diagnosing construction business processes with SW-CMM, and presents the case study of analysing processes focusing on communication management.

  • 최근 문헌정보학 분야에서 고객이라는 용어가 자주 쓰이기 시작하였으나. 기존의 용어인 이용자와 그 의미가 뚜렷이 구분되지 않고 있으며, 또한 도서관 현상에서는 고객이라는 용어에 대한 거부감도 나타나고 있다. 이에 따라 본 고에서는 고객이라는 용어의 의미를 관련 용어와 비교하여 고찰하고, 이러한 개념이 도서관 및 정보센터의 경영에 어떠한 의의를 가지는지를 논의하였다. 도서관은 고객 개념을 도입함으로써 경영에 마케팅관점을 적용하고 있으며, 이러한 활동은 도서관 경영 전반에 걸친 변화를 요구하고 있다.

히로미 후지이 건축에 나타난 중층(重層)공간에 관한 연구 (A Study on Multi-layered Space in the Architecture of Hiromi Fujii)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the multi-layered space utilized as strategy for deconstruction in the architecture of Hiromi Fujii. Although the design of Eisenman and Fujii was based on the philosophical theory of Jacques Derrida, there are many different aspects of architecture. At the same time, Hiromi Fujii could construct his concept of multi-layered space to colligate the academic knowledge of Jacques Derrida, Roman Jakobson and Colin Rowe. This kind of concept for multi-layered space is a critical element to be distinct from the characters between two architects, and it is implied such as an significant concept to analyze the architecture for Hiromi Fujii. This multi-layered space contains interesting and researchable value to understand and to analyze the western architecture theory from the viewpoint of Asian architect. Accordingly, the purpose of the thesis is to find the meaning to establish an theoretical foundation for being under discussion to the architecture of Fujii through the concept of multi-layered space.

  • The present paper deals with the ordering problem for how to teach mathematical concepts successfully. Main object is the concept of continuous functions which is fundamental in analysis and topology. At first, the theoretical organization of this concept is investigated through several texts in related field, calculus, analysis and topology. And next, the historical order for this concept from the viewpoint of problem-solving is considered. Based on these two materials, we suggest a lecturing organization order in order to establish a balanced unification of three concepts - intuitive, logical and formal concepts.

  • 학교 수학에서 통계적 확률을 보다 의미 있게 지도하기 위한 방안으로 다수의 선행 연구들은 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통한 귀납적인 조작 활동을 들고 있다. 이 연구에서는 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 통계적 확률이 지도될 때 그 지식의 성격이 어떻게 변화될 수 있는지를 그 구체적인 수업 안을 제시하고 있는 선행 연구 결과를 검토함으로써 살펴보았다. 또한 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 활용한 통계적 확률 지도가 의미 있기 위해서는 현재 교육과정에 수학적 확률이 정의될 수 없는 사건에 대해 통계적 확률을 고려해 보는 확률적 상황의 첨가가 필요함을 제안하였다. 이러한 사실을 토대로 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 활용하여 통계적 확률을 지도하는 방안을 구체적인 수업 자료를 예로 들어 제시하였다.

프랭크 로이드 라이트의 건축과 가구디자인의 유기성 연구 (A Study on the Organic Concept of Frank Lloyd Wright's Architecture and Furniture Design)

  • Frank Lloyd Wright is an architect who established the concept of organic architecture and in his organic architectures, he applied studies on the inflow, growth and development of natural elements of shapes, pursued naturalism in the shapes and functions and connected them organically with each other. His furniture as appeared in his constructions shows geometric plasticity based on naturalism and achieves an integration of shapes, materials and functions while forming a space. The organic nature from the viewpoint of digital which is a new concept of the 21st century is greatly affecting construction and furniture designs. Designs having new organic concepts are emerging in furniture which is organically related with construction to achieve organic harmony with new plastic spaces. Therefore, studies on Wright are more significant as a cornerstone for new theories under development.
