욕구 충족 영상 콘텐츠(브이로그 / ASMR / 먹방) 이용 동기, 수용자 특성, 시청 만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Use Motivation, Consumers' Characteristics, and Viewing Satisfaction of Need Fulfillment Video Contents(Vlog / ASMR / Muk-bang))

  • 본 연구는 메이저 동영상 콘텐츠로 떠오르는 브이로그, ASMR, 먹방 콘텐츠를 '욕구 충족 영상 콘텐츠'로 새롭게 개념 규정하고, 이용과 충족 이론 관점에서 수용자의 이용 동기 및 인구통계학적 특성, 5대 성격, 개인주의-집단주의 성향으로 구성된 수용자 특성과 시청 만족도 간 상관관계를 탐색하였다. 분석에는 해당 콘텐츠 시청 경험이 있는 441명의 표본에 대하여 요인분석, 위계적 회귀분석 등의 통계분석 기법이 활용되었다. 그 결과 욕구 충족 영상 콘텐츠 시청 장르에 영향을 미치는 수용자 특성은 연령, 소득수준, 집단주의로 나타났으며, 이용 동기는 자기 평가 및 향상, 감각 자극 및 안정, 재미 추구, 도피 및 시간보내기, 유행 추구의 5개 하위 요인으로 구성되었다. 아울러 5가지 이용 동기에 영향을 미치는 수용자 특성이 각각 다르게 나타났으며, 각 이용 동기가 시청 만족도에 미치는 영향도 다양하게 확인되었다. 이어 분석 결과를 토대로 본 연구가 갖는 학문적 의의 및 욕구 충족 영상 콘텐츠 산업 발전을 위한 실무적 시사점을 제시하였다.

플로우(flow)의 요인이 VR 영상콘텐츠와 HMD의 지속이용에 미치는 영향 연구 (Effect of Flow Factors on the Continuing Use of VR video Contents and HMD)

  • 최근 VR 기술은 하드웨어와 디스플레이의 변화로 인해 HMD를 이용한 VR 콘텐츠를 즐길 수 있게 되었다. VR 영상콘텐츠와 HMD는 인간의 오감과 컴퓨터의 인터페이스를 통해 상호작용이 가능해지고 있다. VR 이용자 관점에서 플로우를 기반으로 VR 영상콘텐츠와 HMD의 지속이용에 관한 주제로 접근하였다. 독립변수인 Flow의 구성 요인을 실재감이나 몰입감, 상호작용으로 설정하였다. 설문조사 기관을 통해 의뢰한 450명의 이용자 중 400명의 남녀 이용자들의 자료를 연구에 활용하였다. 연구결과, 첫째 플로우는 VR 영상콘텐츠와 지속이용에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째 플로우는 HMD와 지속이용에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. VR 영상콘텐츠와 HMD의 지속이용을 높이는 플로우 요인 중 가장 큰 영향력으로 작용하는 요인이 무엇인지를 연구하였다. 본 연구결과를 통하여 차세대 VR 산업의 방향성 수립에 도움이 되고자 한다.

Evaluation of online video content related to reverse shoulder arthroplasty: a YouTube-based study

  • Background: Reverse shoulder arthroplasty (RSA) has evolved continuously over recent years, with expanded indications and better outcomes. YouTube is one of the most popular sources globally for health-related information available to patients. Evaluating the reliability of YouTube videos concerning RSA is important to ensure proper patient education. Methods: YouTube was queried for the term "reverse shoulder replacement." The first 50 videos were evaluated using three different scores: Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) benchmark criteria, the global quality score (GQS), and the reverse shoulder arthroplasty-specific score (RSAS). Multivariate linear regression analyses were conducted to determine the presence of a relationship between video characteristics and quality scores. Results: The average number of views was 64,645.78±264,160.9 per video, and the average number of likes was 414 per video. Mean JAMA, GQS, and RSAS scores were 2.32±0.64, 2.31±0.82, and 5.53±2.43, respectively. Academic centers uploaded the highest number of videos, and surgical techniques/approach videos was the most common video content. Videos with lecture content predicted higher JAMA scores whereas videos uploaded by industry predicted lower RSAS scores. Conclusions: Despite its massive popularity, YouTube videos provide a low quality of information on RSA. Introducing a new editorial review process or developing a new platform for patients' medical education may be necessary. Level of evidence: Not applicable.

조선업종의 유해요인조사 및 인간공학적 개선 (Risk Factor Analysis and Ergonomics Improvements in a Shipbuilding Industry)

  • This paper describes a practical ergonomic approach for the shipbuilding industry that occupies the highest rate of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSD) in Korea. Typical work processes within a shipbuilding operation were surveyed to determine the presence of risk factors associated with musculoskeletal disorders. We used interviews, document analysis, video analysis, and OWAS postural analysis to identify and quantify ergonomic risk factors that workers may be exposed to in the course of their normal work duties. Some ergonomics actions were performed to solve the problems identified in the risk factor analysis. The practical ergonomic approach has resulted in decreases in workers' accident, and increases in productivity. The ergonomic solutions developed in this study could be applied to other sectors of industry that share common features of work with shipbuilding industry.

  • As the Internet is prevalent in our life, harmful contents have been increasing on the Internet, which has become a very serious problem. Among them, pornographic video is harmful as poison to our children. To prevent such an event, there are many filtering systems which are based on the keyword based methods or image based methods. The main purpose of this paper is to devise a system that classifies the pornographic videos based on the audio information. We use Mel-Cepstrum Modulation Energy (MCME) which is modulation energy calculated on the time trajectory of the Mel-Frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCC) and MFCC as the feature vector and Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM) as the classifier. With the experiments, the proposed system classified the 97.5% of pornographic data and 99.5% of non-pornographic data. We expect the proposed method can be used as a component of the more accurate classification system which uses video information and audio information simultaneously.

  • Barrage language is a new media language based on Internet video. It is a representative expression of the Internet environment regardless of its format and content. As a unique movie viewing characteristic provided by the barrage function, the timeliness of feedback, entertainment, and interactivity of the content are excellent. Characteristic. Barrage language itself is closely related not only to the value of linguistic research, but also to the spread of the Internet in the Internet environment. Based on the current situation of Chinese video sites, this thesis explores how Barrage is an organic cycle of culture and consumption in a specific platform and group, and analyzes its propagation methods and effects.   • On-line learning has been adopted as a major educational method due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students and faculties got accustomed to on-line educational environment as they experienced it during the COVID-19 pandemic. Development of various technologies and social requirement for educational renovation lay groundwork for on-line learning as well. Therefore, on-line learning or blended learning will be likely to go on after the end of COVID-19 pandemic and it is necessary to prepare the guidelines for effective utilizing on-line learning. The primary purpose of this study is to examine the learning behaviors and the learning effects by using LMS data. Learning behaviors were measured in terms of learning time and access frequency for pre-recorded video lectures targeting computer-practice classes. The results of empirical analysis reveal that frequency was the significant predictor of course achievements but learning time was not. The findings of empirical analysis will provide insights that the effective planning and designing on-line classes based on learning behaviors are key to enhancing learning effects and learner's satisfaction.

몰입형 문화유산 현장 교육을 위한 VST-HMD 기반 XR 체험 프레임워크 제안 (A Proposal of VST-HMD based XR Experience Framework for Immersive Cultural Heritage Site Education)

  • 본 논문에서는 문화유산 현장에서의 몰입형 교육을 위한 VST(Video See-through) 방식의 HMD(Head Mounted Display) 기반 XR(eXtended Reality) 체험 프레임워크를 제안한다. 매장문화재적 요소가 강한 문화유산 현장의 경우 실물이 남아있지 않아 교육 및 체험 측면에서 흥미로운 정보 전달이 어렵다. 최근 모바일 기기의 대중적인 확산에 따라 이를 이용해 문화유산 현장에 소실된 문화유산을 AR(Augmented Reality)로 복원 및 시각화하거나 관련 정보를 제공하는 연구들이 이루어졌으며, 나아가 OST(Optical See-through) 방식의 안경형 AR 디스플레이를 활용하는 사례들도 등장했다. 그러나 이러한 연구들은 기기의 특성으로 인해 몰입감과 사용성 측면에서 한계점을 보였으며, 단순히 소실된 문화유산의 복원된 모습을 정적으로 시각화하는 것에 그쳐 문화유산 현장에 내재된 동적인 역사 스토리를 재현한다는 측면에서 부족한 점이 있었다. 본 논문에서는 문화유산 현장에서 VST-HMD를 이용하여 AR 기반의 정적 문화유산 시각화뿐만 아니라 VR(Virtual Reality) 기반의 동적 역사 스토리 애니메이션을 제공하는 XR 체험 프레임워크를 제안하여 더욱 몰입감 있고 만족스러운 문화유산 교육을 제공하는 방안에 대해 검토한다.

OTT 앱 리뷰 분석을 통한 서비스 개선 기회 발굴 방안 연구 (Exploring Service Improvement Opportunities through Analysis of OTT App Reviews)

  • This study aims to suggest service improvement opportunities by analyzing user review data of the top three OTT service apps(Netflix, Coupang Play, and TVING) on Google Play Store. To achieve this objective, we proposed a framework for uncovering service opportunities through the analysis of negative user reviews from OTT service providers. The framework involves automating the labeling of identified topics and generating service improvement opportunities using topic modeling and prompt engineering, leveraging GPT-4, a generative AI model. Consequently, we pinpointed five dissatisfaction topics for Netflix and TVING, and nine for Coupang Play. Common issues include "video playback errors", "app installation and update errors", "subscription and payment" problems, and concerns regarding "content quality". The commonly identified service enhancement opportunities include "enhancing and diversifying content quality". "optimizing video quality and data usage", "ensuring compatibility with external devices", and "streamlining payment and cancellation processes". In contrast to prior research, this study introduces a novel research framework leveraging generative AI to label topics and propose improvement strategies based on the derived topics. This is noteworthy as it identifies actionable service opportunities aimed at enhancing service competitiveness and satisfaction, instead of merely outlining topics.

예비 교사의 교수매체 인식에 관한 탐색적 연구 (An exploratory study on Pre-service teachers' perceptions of instructional media)

  • This study explored the overall perception of teaching media from the perspective of pre-service teachers. For this purpose, reflection journals written by 138 pre-service teachers were analyzed, and positive and negative perceptions of teaching media were explored. In the reflection diary, pre-service teachers were asked to write down examples of appropriate use of instructional media and the effects of their experiences, cases of inappropriate use of instructional media, and areas requiring improvement. The main research results are as follows. First, the positive aspects of teaching media perceived by prospective teachers were that it presented examples that could help understanding, aroused curiosity to focus attention, and encouraged participation to motivate learning. Second, the negative aspects of teaching media perceived by prospective teachers include cases where the playback time of the video containing learning content is excessively long and the content of the video is unclear or is higher than the learner's level and difficult to understand. This study is significant in that it presents pre-service teachers experiences and perceptions of teaching media and their desirable use methods.
