본 논문은 웹 브라우저 기반 통신 방식인 WebRTC를 이용하여 고사양 저가의 단말인 Set Top Box(STB)에서 인터렉션을 할 수 있는 다국어l 화상 안내 응용 서비스 개발에 관한 것이다. 서버는 원격으로 연결된 씬 클라이언트의 디지털 정보 디스플레이와 함께 웹 카메라에 액세스하고 사용자와 안내 정보를 교환한다. 또한, 서버는 고화질 비디오 압축의 가상화 전송 방식을 사용함으로써 STB의 성능에 종속되지 않고 thin client STB에서 재생되는 원격 영상 안내 서비스 시스템을 제안한다.

This research is related to GPS(global positioning system) enabled device navigation service and consists of two parts. The first is the logic that records the route guidance video and records GPS information in time, and the second is the logic that outputs the created video data based on real time GPS. The recording logic first determines the origin and destination, records the video from the origin to the destination and it adjusts the speed of the image in a specific area so that the user can see it easily. And insert ancillary information and advertisements that can help guide the route. In the output logic, we provide navigation services using the video and GPS data tables we created, and it receives user's GPS information in real time and corrects it based on the recent user location to reduce errors. This provides local guidance services to people who lack language skills like foreigners.

This Paper provides perceptual metrics for video quality based on properties of human visual system, and audio quality based on human audition. All metrics work without reference signals, allowing non-intrusive, in-service measurements. A simple and easy-to-learn user interface displays the metrics and saves them in popular file formats like CSV. In this paper, proposed method was able to various and corrective measurement for the multimedia service video quality. As that it was able to application to set up service guide line and the methode of measurement and system for the set up standardization of the high quality video service.

Such as closed caption, ancillary data, electronic program guide(EPG), data broadcasting, and etc, increased data for service convenience cause to degrade video quality of high definition contents. This article propose a method to transfer the closed caption data of video contents without video quality degradation. Video quality degradation does not cause in video compression by the block image insertion of caption data in DTV essential hidden area. Additionally the proposed methods have advantage to synchronize video, audio, and caption from preinserted script without time delay.

본 논문은 인간에 의해 주관적으로 측정되던 이동 멀티미디어 영상 품질에 대한 방법을 개선하기 위한 논문이다. 다양한 열화요인을 가지는 동영상의 정량적이며 객관적인 화질평가를 위해서는 기존의 PSNR의 한계를 보완하고 전송망에서 발생하는 오류를 고려하여야 한다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 인간의 인지특성을 반영할 수 있는 새로운 객관적 화질측정방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법은 멀티미디어 서비스 영상의 품질을 다양하고 정확하게 측정할 수 있으며 서비스 가이드라인을 설정하여 고품질 영상서비스를 제공하는 표준안 설정을 위한 측정 방법과 시스템으로 활용될 수 있다.

의료서비스의 만족도를 향상시키기 위한 방안으로 체감 대기시간 단축과 정확한 의료정보 제공, 검사의 정확도 등이 긍정적인 반응을 보여주고 있다. 이와 같은 방안에 동영상 홍보물이 유용성이 있는지 평가하였으며, 휴대용 DVD플레이어를 구입하여 검사 전 개인적으로 동영상을 시청하도록 한 방법이 서비스 만족도 향상에 도움이 되는 것으로 조사되었다. 체감대기시간 단축에 의한 만족도 향상은 예약시간보다 지연 되는 경우 보다 효과적이며, 현재 제공되고 있는 동영상의 활용도 향상을 위한 홍보를 적극적으로 시행한다면 정확한 의료정보 제공에 의한 만족도 역시 향상될 것이다. 방사성의약품 투여 후 표준섭취시간을 초과하는 시간대 중 가장 많은 부분을 차지하는 1~~3분대를 최소화하기 위해 약 7분 정도의 홍보 동영상을 제공한 결과 미준수 건수가 2.3% 감소하였으며, 이는 정확한 검사를 제공하여 고객의 만족도를 높일 수 있다. 향후 동영상 제공에 대한 홍보를 적극적으로 시행하고 검사 전 개별적으로 동영상을 시청할 수 있도록 휴대용 DVD 플레이어를 제공할 수 있는 구조적인 시스템이 갖춰진다면 의료서비스에 의한 고객 만족도 향상에 기여하리라 생각된다.

정보통신기술이 발전하면서 방송 통신 융합(Convergence)의 시대가 되었다. 방송 통신 융합의 대표적인 서비스로 iCOD(internet Contents On Demand)가 있다. 이는 초고속 인터넷을 이용하여 정보 서비스, 동영상 콘텐츠 및 방송 등을 텔레비전 수상기로 제공하는 서비스이다. 그러나 이 서비스는 다른 채널의 방송 정보를 검색 하려면 다른 방송의 스트림을 다시 분석해야 한다는 문제점이 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 iCOD 방송 서비스를 단말에서 효율적으로 검색하고 선택하는 것을 지원하기 위하여 iCOD 용 방송 스트림으로부터 SI(Service Information) 정보를 추출하여 SD&S(Service Discovery and Selection) 기반 iPG(internet Program Guide) XML문서를 생성하고 멀티 캐스트로 전송하는 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

근래 디지털방송은 백 수십 개의 방송프로그램을 제공하는 다(多)채널 양상을 보이고 있는데 이런 환경 하에서 시청자의 방송프로그램 탐색 작업이 복잡해지고 있다. 특히, 가장 일반적인 방송프로그램 탐색 방식인 영상을 직접 보면서 방송프로그램을 선택하는 방법은 수많은 채널들 사이를 0.7초가량 소요되는 채널 변경 작업을 반복해야하는 시간 소비적 작업이 되었다. 본 논문은 방송프로그램들의 멀티 뷰 영상을 활용하여 채널 변경 작업 없이 시청자가 프로그램 영상을 보며 채널을 선택하는 국제 데이터서비스 표준인 MHP기반의 프로그램가이드를 제안하였다. 본 데이터서비스의 구현을 위해서 방송프로그램 영상들로 구성된 멀티 뷰 영상과 관련 부가정보의 구성 및 송출 방법을 고안하고 방송수신기에 장착된 비디오 디코딩 칩셋의 고속편집 기능을 활용하는 자바 API를 정의하였다.

In this paper, we explain the purpose of building a mobile app called "ARnetView" that can use the AR(augmented Reality)based calling function and AR based content creation function, and as well as an AR based data center that can share AR based video streaming and AR based contents on smartphones and tablet devices. For the AR(Augmented Reality) based data center implement, we have developed a mobile application and implemented a service system including an AR(augmented Reality) based calling function and AR based content production and AR based video streaming functions for real-time communication to connect a field technician and an expert so that the expert can see and discuss the situation in the field and technician and experts, they can draw digital annotation on mobile screen that accurately stick to 3D physical objects, allowing the expert to guide the technician step by step. In result, it provides a remote technical collaboration environment between field technician and expert. In addition, AR(Augmented Reality) collaboration service Platform was designed and implemented to increase work speed, efficiency, and utilization of advanced technicians, improve continuous productivity of equipment and facilities, maximize equipment and facility utilization, and strengthen industrial competitiveness. Therefore, through this, the AR collaboration service Platform can be applied to the industrial field, the medical field, and the entertainment/education field.

VOD 서비스는 디지털방송 시대에 방송사업자의 새로운 수익모델로 자리 잡은 가장 성공적인 방송통신융합 서비스로서 실시간 중심의 시청 패턴에서 주문형 동영상의 이용 비중이 확대됨에 따라 매출액이 증가 추세에 있으며 N-스크린 서비스의 전략 핵심이 되고 있다. 이런 배경 속에 방송사는 모바일 기기를 활용한 VOD 서비스 지원 기능을 제공하여 VOD 서비스를 더욱 활성화하는 VOD 서비스의 N-스크린 전략을 모색하고 있다. 본 논문은 국내 모(某) 디지털케이블방송사의 요구사항을 기반으로 개발된 VOD 모바일 앱을 소개한다. 본 VOD 모바일 앱은 방송사가 발간하는 VOD 가이드북에 홍보하는 VOD 프로그램 또는 이벤트 정보를 출력, 북마킹 또는 검색된 VOD 프로그램을 TV로 바로 시청, 스마트폰으로 촬영한 동영상을 TV로 시청하는 등의 기능들을 제공한다.
