  • Neural Oscillator can be applied to oscillatory systems such as the image recognition, the voice recognition, estimate of the weather fluctuation and analysis of geological fluctuation etc in nature and principally, it is used often to pattern recoglition of image information. Conventional BPL(Back-Propagation Learning) and MLNN(Multi Layer Neural Network) are not proper for oscillatory systems because these algorithm complicate Learning structure, have tedious procedures and sluggish convergence problem. However, these problems can be easily solved by using a synchrony characteristic of neural oscillator with PLL(phase-Locked Loop) function and by using a simple Hebbian learning rule. And also, Recognition velocity of Korean Character can be improved by using a Neural Oscillator's learning accelerator factor η$\_$ij/

실내소음 저감을 위한 능동패널의 체속도 제어 (Volume Velocity Control of Active Panel to Reduce Interior Noise)

  • This paper presents a method of actively controlling the interior noise by a trim panel with hybrid feedforward-feedback control loop. The control technique is designed to minimize the vibration of panel whose motion is limited to that of a piston (out-of-plane motion). The hybrid controller consists of an adaptive feedforward controller in conjunction with a linear quadratic Gaussian (LQG) feedback controller. In order to maintain control performance of both persistent and transient disturbances, the feedback loop speeds up the adaptation rate of feedforward controller by improving damping capacity of secondary plant related with the adaptation rule. Numerical simulation and experimental result indicate that the hybrid controller is a more effective method for reducing the vibration of the panel (and therefore the interior noise) compared to using feedforward controller.

  • This paper addresses the dynamic modeling and closed-loop eigenvibration analysis of composite rotating pretwisted fan blade modeled as non-uniform thin-walled beam with bi-convex cross-section fixed at the certain presetting angle and incorporating piezoelectric induced damping capabilities. The blade model incorporates non-classical features such as transverse shear, rotary inertia and includes the centrifugal and Coriolis force field. A velocity feedback control law relating the piezoelectiriccally induced transversal bending moment at the beam tip with the appropriately selected kinematical response quantity is used and the beneficial effects upon the closed loop eigenvibration of the blade are highlighted.

발사체 직접식 유도법의 유도성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of an Explicit Guidance Scheme for a Launch Vehicle)

  • In this Paper, a fuel minimizing closed loop explicit inertial guidance algorithm for orbit injection of a rocket is developed. In the formulation, the fuel burning rate and magnitude of thrust are assumed constant. The motion of rocket is assumed to be subject to the average inverse-square gravity, but negligible effects from atmosphere. The optimum thrust angle to obtain a given velocity vector in the shortest time with minimizing fuel consumption is first determined, and then the additive thrust angle for targeting the final position vector is determined by using Pontryagin's maximum principle. To establish real time processing, many algorithms of onboard guidance software are simplified. The explicit guidance algorithm is simulated on the 2nd-stage flight of the N-1 rocket developed in Japan. The results show that the explicit guidance algorithm works well in the presence of the maximum $\pm$10% initial velocity and altitude errors, and exhibits better performance than the open-loop program guidance. The effects of the guidance cycle time are also examined.

AN OLD SUPERNOVA REMNANT WITHIN AN HII COMPLEX AT $1{\approx}173{\circ}$ : FVW172.8+1.5

  • We present the results of HI 21 cm line observations to explore the nature of the high-velocity (HV) HI gas at - 173${\circ}$, which appears as faint, wing-like, Hi emission that extends to velocities beyond those allowed by Galactic rotation in the low-resolution surveys. We designate this feature as Forbidden Velocity Wing (FVW) 172.8+1.5. Our high-resolution Arecibo HI observations show that FVW 172.8+1.5 is composed of knots, filaments, and ring-like structures distributed over an area of a few degrees in extent. These HV HI emission features are well correlated with the HII complex G173+1.5, which is composed of five Sharpless HII regions distributed along a radio continuum loop of size 4.4${\times}$3.4, or -138 pc ${\times}$ 107 pc, at a distance of 1.8 kpc. G173+1.5 is one of the largest star-forming regions in the outer Galaxy. The HV HI gas and the radio continuum loop seem to trace an expanding shell. Its derived HI parameters including large expansion velocity (55 km/s) imply the SNR interpretation. Hot xray emission is detected within the HII complex, which also supports its SNR origin. The FVW172.8+1.5 is most likely the products of a supernova explosion(s) within the HII complex, possibly in a cluster that triggered the formation of these HII regions.

캠구동 슬라이더기구의 기구동역학 해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Kinetodynamic Analysis for General Disk Cam Driving Slider Mechanisms)

  • Kinetodynamics of a cam driving slider mechanism consists of kinematic analysis and force analysis. The kinematic analysis is to determine the kinematic characteristics of a cam driving mechanism and a slider mechanism. The force analysis is to determine the joint forces of links, the contact forces of the cam and follower, and the driving torque of a main shaft. This paper proposes a close loop method and a tangent substitution method to formulate the relationships of kinematic chains and to calculate the displacement, velocity and acceleration of the cam driving slider mechanism. Also, and instant velocity center method is proposed to determine the cam shape from the geometric relationships of the cam and the roller follower. For dynamic analysis, the contact force and the driving torque of the cam driving slider mechanism are calculated from the required sliding forces, sliding motion and weight of the slider.

  • In this paper, a new model of TDF(two degree of freedom) spin-stabilized platform has been suggested. The platform driving signal modulated in the spinning frequency is described in demodulated form keeping its precession angular velocity. When a strong spinning torque exists, the cross-axis spring constant cannot be neglected in modelling of the platform precession dynamics. A linearized dynamic model of spin-stabilized platform pointing loop is derived and validated through the comparison between simulation and experimental results.

  • This paper presents a one cycle R&D project regarding the large inertia platform servo control system. The steps followed the rather orthodox procedure. A serial double rate-loop was closed with a position loop, and acceleration velocity anticipatory compensations were designed in the forward path. Some appropriate compensation devices were utilized for the signal processing as well as for the better control quality. Simulations and experimental tests were repeated, and satisfactory performances were observed. However, frequency domain uncertainties inherent to the large structures still remain as an expertise supported subject.

자갈 및 암반 하상 산지하천의 고리형 수위-유량 관계 분석 (Analysis of Loop-Rating Curve in a Gravel and Rock-bed Mountain Stream)

  • 홍수 발생 시 모래하천의 수위-유량 관계가 고리형을 이룬다는 것은 많은 현장 계측을 통해 보고되어 왔다. 또한, 홍수파 해석이나 사련에서 사구로 변동되는 하상해석을 통해 고리형 수위-유량 관계의 원인이 규명되어서 고리의 형태나 진행방향 등에 대해서는 이론적으로도 상당부분 입증되어 있다. 그러나 경사가 급한 자갈 및 암반으로 구성된 산지하천의 경우, 현장유량계측의 어려움과 관측 정확도의 문제로 고리형 수위-유량 관계에 대한 연구가 매우 드물었다. 본 논문은 자갈 및 암반지형의 산지하천인 제주도 한천에서 2011년 태풍 무이파 때 계측한 홍수 유량을 바탕으로 수위-유량 관계를 구축하고, 자갈하천에서 형성되는 고리형 수위-유량곡선을 분석하고자 한다. 유량계측 방식으로는 홍수기에 적합한 비접촉식인 전자파 표면유속계를 사용하여, 홍수의 상승기와 하강기의 유량을 시간 단위로 계측하는 데 성공했다. 계측결과 수위-유량관계에서 뚜렷한 고리 형상을 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 고리의 이력이 모래하천과 정반대로 동일수위에서 상승기의 유량이 하강기의 유량보다 작은, 고리 경로의 역전 현상을 발견하였다. 이러한 역전현상은 자갈하천의 조도의 변화가 모래하천의 경우와 반대로 발생하는 데 기인하는 것으로 추정한다.
