차량 동력학 해석을 위한 조향장치 모델링 (Steering Model for Vehicle Dynamic Analysis)

  • In this research, a power-assisted steering system is modeled as a part of a full vehicle dynamic model. The dynamic model of the steering system incorporates hydraulic and dynamic relations between major parts of a steering system, such as steering column, control valve, rack and pinion gear. Through an experimental setup of the steering system, the steering system model is validated. The steering model is included in a full vehicle dynamic model of a car, where kinematic relations between steering and suspension system are defined, and various simulations are performed to evaluate the performance of steering system in conjunction with overall dynamic performance of the vehicle.

  • In the present study, a three-dimensional numerical simulation was performed in a paint drying system of vehicle assembly line. In the drying system hot air and cool air are blown in turn from the nozzles to dry the trim of vehicle. Inlet boundary condition using user subroutine code is adopted to consider the moving motion of the vehicle. The present paper aims to improve the performance of the drying system. The transient distribution of temperature and velocity at the surface of the vehicle were predicted numerically. From these results, optimal operating condition of the drying system are to be suggested.

  • The study is to develop a foundation design for a railway vehicle simulator using a scaled model. Although a scaled simulator is limited to manipulate the dynamics of a full-size railway vehicle, it has been known to have an advantage, since a scaled model could provide the fundamental dynamic behavior within a limited space of a laboratory facility and with a low operation cost while an experiment is conducted. This study is to propose a design strategy for a simulator so that a small scaled roller rig could be fabricated in a laboratory based on the design philosophy. The data obtained from the scale model is also experimentally investigated in conjunction with appropriate non-dimensional analysis so that the output results should be interpreted to the railway vehicle.

  • Since Maglev vehicle is run over an elevated guideway, the vibrational characteristics of guideway affect the running behavior of the vehicle and guideway. The design of a guideway has a strong effect on the costs of constructing guideways, therefore optimized design of the guideway satisfying running performance is needed for the commercialization of the Maglev vehicle. With an analysis program for dynamics of Maglev vehicles, the dynamic responses of the Maglev vehicle with electromagnet suspension are numerically analyzed according to changes in fundamental natural frequency ratio of a guideway.

  • Maglev vehicles, which are levitated and propelled by electromagnets, often run on elevated flexible guideways comprised of steel, aluminum and concrete. Therefore. an analysis of the dynamic interaction between the Maglev vehicle and the flexible guideway is needed in the design of the critical speed, ride, controler design and weight reduction of the vehicle. This study introduces a dynamic interaction simulation technique that applies structural dynamics. Because the proposed method uses FEM, it is useful to calculate the deformation of the elevated flexible guideway, the dynamic stress, and the motion of the vehicle. By applying the proposed method to an urban transit Maglev vehicle, UTM01, the dynamic response is simulated and validated. From the result of the study, we concluded, that the dynamic interaction between the maglev vehicle and the flexible guideway is possible.

  • 본 연구에서는 레일의 불규칙성을 가우시안 분포(Gausian distribution)를 갖 는 랜덤함수로 보고 레일과 바퀴의 비선형기하학적 형상을 확률적 선형화 방법으로 단 순화하여 측방향 강제진동 응답을 구하였다. 또 구하여진 rms 응답 스펙트럼은 비선 형 방정식을 직접 수치적분하여 구한 결과와 비교하므로써 확률적 선형화방법의 효용 성을 보였다. 또한 열차 주행 속도를 변화 시키면서 강제 진동 응답을 시간 영역에 서 구하였으며 그로부터 지금까지 실험결과에서 나타나고 있는 간헐적헌팅(intermit- tent hunting)에 대한 현상을 설명하였다.

  • 차륜 불평형은 차륜의 무게중심이 윤축의 기하학적 중심축에서 벗어나 있을 때 발생한다. 차륜 불평형을 수정하지 않고 주행하면 불평형에 의한 원심력이 차체의 진동을 발생시키게 되며 차륜의 마모를 촉진시키거나 차축 베어링에 손상을 주게 된다. 본 연구에서는 철도차량 동적해석을 통하여 차륜 불평형이 차량 임계속도와 차체 진동에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 차륜 불평형은 임계속도를 감소시키고 차체 공진을 유발할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 차륜의 정적, 동적 불평형에 따른 차체진동을 해석함으로써 불평형 수정은 양면 밸런싱이 필요함을 밝혔다.

다물체 동역학 해석방법을 이용한 철도차량의 임계속도 계산 (Calculation of Critical Speed of Railway Vehicle by Multibody Dynamics Analysis)

  • 본 연구에서는 다물체 동역학 모델을 이용한 철도차량의 임계속도 계산 방법을 제시하였다. 휠과 레일의 접촉 구속조건과 접촉력을 휠셋 단위에서 수식화하였다. 이를 대차모델에 합하여 구속조건을 가진 다물체 동역학 운동방정식으로 철도차량의 동적모델을 표현하였다. 철도차량의 다물체 동역학 모델에 대한 비선형 구속조건식과 운동방정식은 QR 분해법을 이용하여 독립좌표만으로 이루어진 선형방정식으로 유도하였다. 유도된 선형방정식으로부터 휠셋 및 이륜 대차에 대한 고유치 해석결과를 통해 임계속도를 구하였다. 임계속도에 영향을 미치는 차량 파라미터의 영향에 대한 결과를 제시하였다.

자유날개 동체꺾임형 항공기의 조종성 해석 (Free-wing Tilt-body Aircraft Controllerability Analysis)

  • The free-wing tilt-body aircraft is researched in the flight performance characteristics such as short take-off and landing capability, and reduced sensitivity to gust and center of gravity (CG) change. Due to the main wing separating from the fuselage, the high tiltable empennage, and the stub-wing strongly influencing from the propeller wake, the resulting vehicle aerodynamics and flight dynamics are quite different from those of a conventional fixed-wing aircraft. Using the governing flight dynamics model was studied previously, all of speed and body tilt angle is simulated to determine the flight envelope by a non-linear 3-DOF flight simulation analysis. Though flight performance and trimmability are studied, the flight model of free-wing tilt-body aircraft is to reduce the hidden risk and to achieve the successful flight test. It is analyzed the flight characteristics that distinguishes free-wing tilt-body aircraft from the conventional aircraft.
