광 강도변화를 이용한 가공면 영상의 텍스쳐 특징분석 (Texture Feature Analysis of Machined Surface Image Using Intensity Gradient)

  • Super precision working technique and machine tool have been continually developed thanks to advanced electronic field. To obtain good result. it is necessary to investigate surface in grinding with $mu extrm{m}$ level. There were quite many researches to satisfy these demands by using non-contact methods through the computer vision. In this study, the texture of working surface was analyzed. co-occurrence matrices was obtained from the surface roughness. Texture parameter was obtained using position operator composed of $ heta$, d according to variation of angle direction and distance. As a result, it was found that surface texture was more affected by direction($\theta$) than distance(d).

  • 본 연구는 수치지형모델로부터 지형을 대표할 수 있는 임계점을 추적하는데 목적을 두었다. 지형의 임계점은 주위 인접점으로부터 급격한 변화가 이루어지는 점으로 생각할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 라플라스 연산자를 중심으로 이들의 최적 추적방법이 연구되어지며 조그만 리플을 제거하기 위한 노이즈 제거 시스템이 적용되어진다. 연구결과 라플라스 연산자는 지형의 임계점을 효과적으로 추출함을 알 수 있었으며 국소적인 분산간에 의한 노이즈 제거 시스템은 조그만 리플을 제거하는데는 효과적이었으나, 지형의 형상을 재현시키는데는 비효과적임을 알 수 있었다.

  • General joystick using spring only has a vibration when operaor drops the joystick. If it is used as input of motorized wheelchair, its system have a serious problem which operator fall into dangerous situation. Therefore, In this paper proposed non-vibration joustick which control a motorized wheelchair. Non-vibration joystick was designed which return to origin point when operator drops joystick by mistake. Reflected force of non- vibration joystick is defined as addition displacement and variation rate. And each parameter has elasticity of spring and viscosity of DC servo motor. Through simulation for virtual environment, we found two coefficient to return origin point smoothly when a disabled person drops the joystick. In case of larger elastic coefficient of spring than viscous coefficient, we confirmed the result has the equal vibration of general joystick (under-damping). In opposite case, joystick returned to origin point with excessive force. As a application of non-vibration joystick, we experimented wall-following controlling. In this trial, we corroborated that joystick follows smoothly around the corridors.

  • Nonlinear energy operator(NEO) is usually used to estimate energy content of linear oscillator. We applied the modified nonlinear energy operator (MNEO) to detect R-peak of ECG and analyzed variation of R-R interval during sleep with nonlinear methods, piecewise correlation dimension and approximate entropy (ApEn) which estimate complexity of time series. ApEn applied to R-R interval reveals trends as sleep state changes.

  • Studies on motion response of a vessel is of great interest to researchers, since a long time. But intensive researches on stability of vessel during motion under dynamic conditions are few. A numerical model of vessel is developed and responses are analyzed in head, beam and quartering sea conditions. Variation of response amplitude operator (RAO) of vessel based on Strip Theory for different wave heights is plotted. Validation of results was done experimentally and numerical results was considered to obtain effect of damping on vessel stability. A scale model ratio of 1:125 was used which is suitable for dimensions of wave flume at National Institute of Technology Calicut. Stability chart are developed based on Mathieu's equation of stability. Ince-Strutt chart developed can help to capture variations of stability with damping.

  • This paper presents synthetic circumstantial judgement system that detects and predicts a fire in subway station. Unlike conventional fire surveillance systems that judge the fire or not through smoke, CO, temperature or variation of temperature, a proposed system discovers a fire more easily or gives the alarm high possibility of fire to operator through recognition of fire levels based on Fuzzy Inference System using by FCM and information of objects from video data.

Statistical Approximation of Szász Type Operators Based on Charlier Polynomials

  • In the present note, we study some approximation properties of the Szász type operators based on Charlier polynomials introduced by S. Varma and F. Taşdelen (Math. Comput. Modelling, 56 (5-6) (2012) 108-112). We establish the rates of A-statistical convergence of these operators. Finally, we prove a Voronovskaja type approximation theorem and local approximation theorem via the concept of A-statistical convergence.

  • It is very important to rationally allocate manufacturing processes because customer's needs are being various, and product life cycle in the market Is being shortened. The process allocation is needed before making process control plan and is mostly being done by the field experience or intuition of machine operator, process engineer and/or maintenance technician. Therefore, a modified allocation method using the process variation is proposed. This paper presents the result of comparative studies between current method and the proposed one.
