시판 설프이속사졸정의 용출거동 및 상대 생체이용율 (Dissolution Behavior and Relative Bioavailability of Commercially Available Sulfisoxazole Tablets in Humans)

  • Dissolution characteristics and urinary excreted amount of commercially available three brands of sulfisoxazole tablets were investigated in order to elucidate the in vitro-in vivo correlations and relative bioavailability in humans. All the tablets tested met the K.P. IV and the USP XXI specifications for tablet weight variation, content uniformity, disintegration and dissolution. The disintegration and dissolution rate constants of sulfisoxazole tablets in pH 2.0 HCl-KCl buffer were reduced more significantly (p<0.05) than those in diluted HCl $(1{\rightarrow}12.5)$ and pH 6.5 phosphate buffer. It seemed to be attributed to the pH dependent solubility of sulfisoxazole. We could see that the relative bioavailability of brand B to sulfisoxazole powder was about 90% and that its value was higher than those of other two brands from the urinary excretion data obtained from eight healthy male volunteers by means of Latin square cross over design. No useful correlation was observed between the in vitro and in vivo studies in this experiment.

분포분할법을 이용한 휴리스틱 공정능력지수의 비교 분석 (Heuristic Process Capability Indices Using Distribution-decomposition Methods)

  • Purpose: This study develops heuristic process capability indices (PCIs) using distribution-decomposition methods and evaluates the performances. The heuristic methods decompose the variation of a quality characteristic into upper and lower deviations and adjust the value of the PCIs using decomposed deviations in accordance with the skewness. The weighted variance(WV), new WV(NWV), scaled WV(SWV), and weighted standard deviation(WSD) methods are considered. Methods: The performances of the heuristic PCIs are investigated under the varied situations such as various skewed distributions, sample sizes, and specifications. Results: WV PCI is the best under the normal populations, WSD and SWV PCIs are the best under the low skewed populations, NWV PCI is the best under the moderate and high skewed populations. Conclusion: Comprehensive analysis shows that the NWV method is most adequate for a practical use.

  • The multi degree of freedom system using magnetic levitation has been implemented successfully. Differently from another noncontact systems, the developed system was focused on the maximization of the system stiffness under the constraint of a limited input. The variation of a relative adopting point between the magnetic pair, its location on the fixed base, and the selection of optimal specifications for the main active magnetic elements give us another chance to realize the increased robustness against external disturbances with the less control inputs. In this paper, the overall development procedures are given including the optimal design, the dynamic modeling, the various control tests, and the main issues to be solved.

  • Image compression techniques such as JPEG and MPEG induce losses of image quality. These losses are usually investigated on the spatial distortions from reconstructed images. Representative specifications are blocking artifacts, color bleeding and smearing. However, the compression techniques also influence the color information. The distortion of color information means distortion of gamut characteristics such as gamut size and unique color from the CIELAB values for each pixel in the reconstructed images. Accordingly, this paper introduces the investigation of the relationship between image compression and the gamut characteristics for reconstructed images using MPEG compression. The results show the consist variation of gamut, hue, and chroma due to MPEG compression.

이젝터를 적용한 이산화탄소 냉동사이클의 내부열교환기 길이에 따른 성능 변화 (Performance Variation with Length of Internal Heat Exchanger in CO2 Cooling Cycle Using an Ejector)

  • Recently, many researchers have studied the performance of the transcritical $CO_2$ refrigeration cycle in order to improve the system efficiency. In this study, the length of IHX in the $CO_2$ ejector cycle was varied so as to evaluate the performance improvement. As a result, compressor work and cooling capacity was increased by 3% and 5% as the length of internal heat exchanger was changed from 3 m to 15 m. The best COP was appeared at internal heat exchanger length of 12 m, and it was 3.01. Besides, the length of internal heat exchanger has a big effect to pressure lift ratio and entrainment ratio in the ejector $CO_2$ cycle and it may be changed with operating conditions and system specifications.

Therefore, It is realistic to consider various factors in determining specification of qualify characteristics TAGUCH Idefines quality of an object as "Quality is the loss that a product causes to society after being shipped. other than any losses caused by its intrinsic function". Particularly, to improve the performances of product TAGUCHI focuses his attention on the product design and process design which enable the functional characteristics of product to he robust to noises. In this paper, by the TAGUCHI's loss function, the characteristics which affect the variation of a product performance are classified into the scrappable characteristics and the reworkable characteristics when the target values of functional characteristics have been determined. And we will determine the tolerance of each characteristic which minimize the quality cost by the cost function which considers the economic factors and probability features of each characteristic.cteristic.

  • In this study, temperature sensors were adhered to transformer that is used in KHST(Korean High-Speed Train) to verify variation of temperature characteristics about transformer synthetically and efficiently. In the case that temperature of transformer exceeds reference temperature for running of KHST, overheating of transformer may cause a fatal accident of vehicle. Characteristics and main specifications of transformer in KHST were described in this paper. Also, measuring system for temperature measurement of transformer was explained in brief. Temperature data of transformer was acquired using measuring system, KRRI(Korea Railroad Research Institute) analyzed characteristic in contrast with comparing with temperature of transformer about month, running speed and running time.

  • In this paper, design problem of QFT-PSS using Genetic Algorithm(GA) is investigated for power systems with parameter variation and disturbance uncertainties. A robust controller for uncertain power systems can be designed automatically such that the cost of feedback is minimized and all robust stability and performance specifications are satisfied. It is shown that the proposed design method not only automates loop shaping but also improves design quality and improves the quality with a reduced order controller. The robustness of the proposed controller has been investigated on a single machine infinite bus model. The results are shown that the proposed QFT-PSS using GA is more robust tan conventional PSS.

  • Worldwide cardiovascular diseases are the major cause of death. Aside from heart transplants, which are limited due to the availability of human donor hearts, artificial hearts are the only therapy available for terminal heart diseases. For various reasons, a total implantable artificial heart is desirable. But the limited space in the human thorax sets rigorous restrictions on the weight and dimensions of the device. Nevertheless, the appropriate functionality of the artificial heart must be ensured and blood damage must be prevented. These requirements set further restrictions to the drive of this device. In the this paper, two optimization methods, namely, the manual parameter variation and Differential Evolution algorithm, are presented and applied to match the specifications of an artificial heart.

외란 제거 제어기를 이용한 강인 제어기의 설계 (Design of a Robust Controller Using Disturbance Rejection Controller)

  • 본 논문에서는 시스템 파라미터의 변동이나 모델의 불확실성 및 외부 외란 등에 강인한 외란 관측기에 기초로 한 강인 제어기의 설계를 제안한다. 제어기는 두 개 루프의 구조를 갖는 모델기반 보상기와 궤환 제어기 구조로 구성되어 있다. 내부 루프 보상기는 내외부의 외란을 제거하고, 외부 루프 궤환 제어기는 주어진 사양을 만족하도록 하는 역할을 수행한다. 결과적으로, 제안한 강인 제어기를 이용함으로써 외란에 대해 시스템을 안정화 시킬 수 있으며, 제어 성능을 향상시킬 수 있음을 보인다.
