  • The propose of this study is to suggest objective data to be utilized for a plan and the improvement of open space through the analysis of people's behaviour and satisfaction after the introduction of an opened-fence around offices followed by a plan for wall-afforestation of public institution's. The sites examined are four offices; two of them have opened-walls and the others have traditional enclosure. Analysis of frequency is conducted to understand the actual use according to people's individual peculiarities. Pearson's correlation analysis, t-test, multiple regression analysis are carried out to find out relations of fluents. In the end, the satisfaction is high in public institution satisfaction, entrance, space perception. stability, Landscaped office with opened-fence rather than fence, and the increase in usage of fluent of public institution satisfaction, entrance, space perception. stability, confusion brings about rising of use-satisfaction. Satisfaction with the exterior of building is the most important variable that influences the whole urban open space. Furthermore the influences of the approach and stability having connection with open or not-open fence is major variable affecting satisfaction of use of open space. Whether open or not is important factor on satisfaction of open space of office building. Through this study, we can find that opened fence determines use satisfaction of resting space of outdoor-office. So factors affecting satisfaction must be regarded as important requisite on planning, design, development and management in plan for afforestation of fence at public institution.

  • We present the results of long-term simultaneous monitoring observations (~ 12 years) of H2O (22 GHz) maser and several vibrationally excited lines of SiO J = 1-0, 2-1, 3-2 masers (43, 86, 129 GHz) carried out with the 21-m antennas of the Korean VLBI Network (KVN) toward a sample of three AGB stars (RT Vir, RR Aql, IRC-10151) that are believed to be semiregular variable star, Mira variable star, and OH/IR star, respectively, according to a sequential evolutionary phase of AGB star. A total 10 transitions were observed, of which we detected H2O, SiO 𝝊 = 1 and 2, J = 1-0, SiO 𝝊 = 1, J = 2-1 and J = 3-2 maser lines in all three target objects, depending on the observational epochs. In this study, we scrutinize the evolutionary traits of each target object based on the maser line profiles, flux/velocity variations, and phase lags with the optical light curves. The IRAS two color diagram and the infrared spectral energy distributions (SEDs) in the wavelength range from 1.2 to 240 ㎛ of three observed sources were also analyzed.

  • In this paper, we consider a class of nonlocal problems with indefinite weights in Orlicz-Sobolev space. Under some suitable conditions on the nonlinearities, we establish some existence results using variational techniques and Ekeland's variational principle.

  • A multi-variable Golden-Section adaptive controller is proposed for the tracking control of robotic manipulators with unknown dynamics. With a small sample time, the unknown dynamics of the robotic manipulator are denoted equivalently by a characteristic model of a 2-order multivariable time-varying difference equation. The coefficients of the characteristic model change slowly with time and some of their valuable characteristic relationships emerge. Based on the characteristic model, an adaptive algorithm with a simple form for the control of robotic manipulators is presented, which combines the multi-variable Golden-Section adaptive control law with the weighted least squares estimation method. Moreover, a compensation neural network law is incorporated into the designed controller to reduce the influence of the coefficients estimation error on the control performance. The results of the simulations indicate that the developed control scheme is effective in robotic manipulator control.

  • In this paper, three dimensional linear conforming variable-finite elements are presented with the aid of a smoothed integration (a class of stabilized conforming nodal integration), for mnltiscale mechanics problems. These elements meet the desirable properties of an interpolation such as the Kronecker delta condition, the partition of unity condition and the positiveness of interpolation function. The necessary condition of linear exactness is fully relaxed by employing the smoothed integration, which renders us to meet the linear exactness in a straightforward manner. This novel element description extend the category of the conventional finite elements space to ration type function space and give the flexibility on the number of nodes of element which are fixed in the conventional finite elements. Several examples are provided to show the convergence and the accuracy of the proposed elements, and to demonstrate their potential with emphasis on the multiscale mechanics problems such as global/local analysis, nonmatching contact problems, and modeling of composite material with defects.

  • In this paper, we study the quantum sl($n$) representation category using the web space. Specially, we extend sl($n$) web space for $n{\geq}4$ as generalized Temperley-Lieb algebras. As an application of our study, we find that the HOMFLY polynomial $P_n(q)$ specialized to a one variable polynomial can be computed by a linear expansion with respect to a presentation of the quantum representation category of sl($n$). Moreover, we correct the false conjecture [30] given by Chbili, which addresses the relation between some link polynomials of a periodic link and its factor link such as Alexander polynomial ($n=0$) and Jones polynomial ($n=2$) and prove the corrected conjecture not only for HOMFLY polynomial but also for the colored HOMFLY polynomial specialized to a one variable polynomial.
