This dissertation aims to analyze various safety accidents taking place during physical education class according to physical education teacher's value orientation, to identify teacher's value orientation that can minimize safety accidents, and to provide basic materials for safe and smooth class management. For this purpose, data have been collected from 261 physical education teachers at some middle and high schools in G City in Kyung-Ki Province and Busan Metropolitan City. The materials were treated as follows: The variables on demographic characteristics of physical education teachers are determined by t-test ; The analysis of one-way ANOVA and relationship between value orientation and safety accident prevention activities was conducted through Pearson's linear correlation analysis and multiple regression; The analysis of the relationship between value orientation and actual conditions of safety accidents was conducted through logistic regression. First, there is almost no awareness difference of physical education teachers' value orientation according to demographical variables. The value orientation physical education teachers consider to be the most important is, however, mainly 'mastery of disciplinary lesson.' There is a statistically significant difference in safety accident prevention activities according to demographical variables. Teachers' focuses in class contents showed a significant difference according to teaching experience and working area, while the dependency on facility has a significant difference according to teaching experience and school type. Second, there is no correlation between physical education teacher's value orientation and safety accident prevention activities because there is virtually no statistically significant difference between them. It means that safety accident prevention activities are not related with on which teachers place emphasis among mastery of disciplinary lesson, social reconstruction, self-realization, ecological integration and value orientation on learning process. Third, the analysis of safety accident prevention activities according to physical education teachers' value orientation revealed that the lower value orientation in social reconstruction is, the more safety accidents teachers experience. It is also found that crashes among students, ball games and leg injuries are inter-related with social reconstruction in value orientation, over-motivation and unskilled motor function ; athletic sports with value orientation on learning process and safety prevention training ; unskilled motor functions with value orientation in ecological integration and disobedience to teacher's directions ; winter accidents with mastery of disciplinary lesson in value orientation. In conclusion, the research indicates that physical education teacher's value orientation according to demographical variables didn't show any significant difference, while one according to safety accident prevention activities showed significant difference. Besides, physical education teachers' value orientation is not related to safety accident prevention activities, but the relationship between value orientation and actual conditions of safety accidents showed correlations according to each variable. Especially, teachers with lower value orientation in social reconstruction experienced more safety accidents. Therefore, physical education teachers can manage physical education class more safely with more emphasis on value orientation in social reconstruction.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the influential variables related to the value orientation and environmental preservation behavior. This study is also to provide data for environment education. The subjects were 538 children, in June. 1998, in Kwangju. The data obtained were analyzed by Pearson's correlation. Purpose - The focus of this study is to investigate the structural influences such as brand value, relationship value, market orientation, long-term orientation, and performance. The effects of brand value and relationship value on the differences on transaction performance in b2b was investigated. Research design, data, and methodology - The subject of this study was a liquor and beverage distribution company that deals in b2b. The research hypothesis is based on literature of the preceding research analysis of brand value, relationship value, market orientation and long-term orientation. This study has constructs that was defined operationally by referencing previous studies. Operational questionnaire was used to investigate the target key staff who work in the liquor and beverage distribution company. 178 survey data were used for empirical analysis to prove the hypothesis. This study used structural equation techniques(AMOS) to prove the research hypothesis. Results - The main results of this empirical study were as follows. First, supplier's brand awareness has a positive effect on market orientation, but did not affect long-term orientation. Brand awareness of suppliers indicates that they are not directly related to long-term orientation. Second, supplier's brand image has a positive effect on market orientation and long-term orientation in b2b transaction. So, the brand image and reputation of the supplier suggest that it is important for the b2b transaction to have a market orientation tendency or a long-term orientation. Third, supplier's relationship value has a positive effect on long-term orientation, but does not affect market orientation. Relationship value indicates that they are not directly related to market orientations of the buyer. Fourth, Market orientation has a positive effect on long-term orientation and marketing performance and long-term orientation has a positive effect on marketing performance in b2b. Additionally, the buyers market and long term orientation are important factors in marketing performance in b2b. ' Conclusions - Based on empirical results, this study confirmed that brand image rather than brand awareness positively influenced long-term orientation as well as market orientation in b2b. Relationship value can be found in transactions, which is important for long-term orientation. Especially, these findings are suggestive in the consumer goods distribution market.
The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship of attitudes of parents and their unmarried adult child concerning the family value orientation. In addition to this study examined the relationship to child's family value orientation and related variables. The major findings 1) Gender, mother's value of marriage, religion were influential factors on the child's value of marriage.2) Gender and mother's value of sex role were influential factors on the child's value of sex role. 3) Child's gender was only influential factor on child's value of child. 4) Gender, mother's value of filial piety, father's value of filial piety were significant factors which have some effects on child's attitudes toward value of final piety. 5) Gender, mother's value of familism, religion were significant factors which have some effects on child's attitudes toward value of familism. 6) Gender, mother's family value orientation, father's family value orientation were influential factors on child's family value oreintation. In conclusion, this study found that child's gender was the most influential factor on child's family value orientations. And mother's family value orientations had strong effects on children's family value orientations.
The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between shopping value and clothing shopping orientation according to clothing involvement. The study subjdects comprised 298 females living in Seoul. The data were analyzed with factor analysis, correlation, t-test, cluster analysis and regression analysis. Clothing involvement, shopping value and clothing shopping orientation consisted of various factors. Clothing involvement influenced various shopping values and orientations. According to three clothing involvement factors, women were classified into two clusters(: high and low involvement groups). In the two groups, there was an intimate relationship between shopping value and shopping orientation, while there were significant differences in shopping value, clothing shopping orientation, and clothing purchasing behavior. In addition, shopping value have influenced shopping orientations and clothing purchasing behavior, while shopping orientations influenced clothing purchasing behavior. As a result, the successful marketer should know the consumer's clothing involvement and shopping value as well as clothing shopping orientation.
Purpose - This study investigates the effect of strategic orientation on market performance with emphasis on the mediative role of innovation capability, economic value and relational value in food producer companies. Research design, data, and methodology - In this descriptive study, a population of 244 managers and employees of Food industry companies in Tehran were investigated. The respondents filled a questionnaire on strategic orientation, innovation capability, economic value, relational value and market performance, during January to August 2018. Reliability and validity were evaluated by Cronbach's alpha coefficient and confirmatory factor analysis. To analyze the data, Spearman's correlation coefficient and structural equation modeling were used by SmartPLS software. Results - Effects of competitor's orientation and technology orientation on all three intermediary variables were positive and significant. The effect of customer orientation on innovation and economic value was positive and significant, but the effect of customer orientation on the value of the relationship was insignificant. Furthermore, entrepreneurial orientation has a positive and significant effect on innovation capability. The effects of three mediator variables on market performance are positive and significant. Conclusions - As the relationship between the mediator variables and market performance were positive and significant, companies should have a comprehensive plan of focus on strengthening these variables.
The present study was initiated under the hypotheses that value orientation of wives is closely related to their decision making style in home management and that family life satisfaction of wives varies according to their decision making style. To test the hypotheses the following procedures were undertaken; (1) developing measurement instruments for value orientation, decision making style, and family life satisfaction; (2) finding value orientation of wives, their decision making style, and their family life satisfaction by applying the measurement instruments; (3) finding the variables highly affecting value orientation, decision making style and family life satisfaction ; and (4) finding the causal mechanism among value orientation, decision making style, and family life satisfaction. In conclusion , preferences of wives for humanism in value orientation were expected to lead decision making style to person -oriented rater than task-oriented style and , furthermore, to result in higher family life satisfaction.
The purpose of this study were (1)to investigate the housewives’value orientation toward environmental effect, (2)to examine the effect of environments and value-orientation on housewives’green-consumption behavior and (3)to analyze the hypothesized causal direct or indirect explanation effect among the housewives’green-consumption behavior. The 310 subjects of this study were selected from housewives lived in Seoul. The data obtained were analyzed by Mean, Pearson’s correlation, and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis. The major results were as follows: 1) The mean score of housewives’value-orientation was 4.45 out of 5. The value-orientation of housewives was affected by the following variables in order to: environmental pollution and participation I community organization. 2) The mean score of housewives’green-consumption behavior was 3.62 out of 5. The housewives’green-consumption behavior was affected by the following variables in order : value orientation, environmental knowledge, participation in community organization, mass media and recycling system. 3) The most influential variables on the housewives’ green-consumption behavior were in the rank of the value orientation(R²=.39). mass meia(R²=.11). and environmental knowledge(R²=.07).
This study aims to recognize cognition of credit card and shopping value in contemporary society, cognition of credit card and shopping value according to types of consumption orientation, and factors that influence cognition of credit card and shopping value, and ultimately provide a foundation for establishing proper shopping value. A total of 453 women and men residing in Seoul have been set as research object in order to achieve the purpose of the study. The data was analyzed by Cronbach' alpha, frequencies, percentile, mean, factor analysis, K-mean cluster analysis, t-test, ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test, multiple linear regression. All analysis progress was done by spsswin12.0 statistics program. A summary of this research goes as follows: First, categorization of consumption orientation lead to two clusters of rational and symbolic & conspicuity consumption patterns and cognition of credit card was categorized into positive and negative cognition and shopping value was categorized into hedonic shopping value, utilitarian shopping value and time-save shopping value. Second, rational shoppers had high utilitarian shopping values and symbolic & conspicuity shoppers had high both hedonic shopping values and utilitarian shopping values. Third, the most influential factor in hedonic shopping value and utilitarian was consumption orientation. In conclusion, this research has showed that cognition of credit card and shopping value according to types of consumption orientation patterns varied, and that consumption orientation was an influential factor on cognition of credit card and shopping value.
The purpose of this study was to develop a housing choice behavior program to cultivate housing value orientation among middle-school students. The importance of cultivating housing value orientation in middle school was examined by investigating the relationship between housing value orientation and housing choice behavior, following which a program was developed to cultivate housing value orientation based on various housing values. Housing choice behavior was defined as selecting the ownership type, housing type, housing size, and neighborhood environment of housing, and the program was developed in 12 sessions to understand housing values and cultivate housing value orientation through learning housing choice behavior. The features of this program were as follows. First, although housing choice behavior is not covered in middle-school home economics, the 2015 revised national curriculum and current middle-school textbooks were analyzed and developed in consideration of the level available in schools. Second, it was possible to develop a housing value orientation that encompasses various housing values, including activities used to consider such values as the basis for housing choice behavior by each sessions. Third, the program was meaningful in that it developed practical problem-solving and living independence skills through learning activities, including available sites, experience cases, and housing welfare that cannot be experienced directly or indirectly.
