  • This study has developed standard metadata for intangible cultural heritages based on multiple entity model. By analyzing "Preservation and Promotion of Intangible Cultural Heritage Act", which was newly legislated in 2016, intangible cultural heritages archiving books, archival information resources and guidelines of organizations which conducted resources investigations, the transmission status of intangible cultural heritages, and the current status of intangible cultural heritage digital archiving and information services of related organizations, we obtained information lists required for intangible cultural heritages and took them into account in the process of selecting elements for intangible cultural heritage metadata. In addition, developing the intangible cultural heritage metadata based on the multiple entity model made it possible to provide comprehensive information by organically linking numerous sorts of information-with intangible cultural heritage information, which is the most essential, in the center, information on agents related to intangible cultural heritages, archival information resources information that they produce, and record management task information required to manage these archival information resources. By maintaining various relations of intangible cultural heritages and keeping the information up-to-date, the developed metadata is expected to provide rich contextual information on intangible cultural heritages in addition to the efficient management of information; and ultimately, make contribution to sustainably developing the value of intangible cultural heritages.

  • This study examined research data management practices from the perspectives of university researchers. A survey was conducted for principal investigators of projects in universities selected to be funded by National Research Foundation in 2010 and 2011. Predicated on the analysis of 131 survey responses, there was a great difference in types of research data between Humanities & Social Science fields and Science, Medicine and Engineering fields. Most respondents added value of their data by linking to other types of information or combining data from other sources. For storing data, PC or portable media were generally employed, and around 80% of respondents saw their data having a useful life under 10 years. Data was shared within research team and with outside researchers who requested data. The percentage of respondents who have reused data was higher than that of respondents who have shared data. In order to obtain data for reuse, the majority of respondents drew data from published articles, or contacted data creators. In most cases, mechanisms for managing data did not exist in projects or universities where respondents belong. Since the level of satisfaction with long-term preservation and metadata description of research data was found to be low, it was necessary to develop data archiving services to support the data management procedures.

  • With the development of big data processing technology, the potential value of healthcare big data has attracted much attention. In order to realize these potential values, various research using the healthcare big data are essential. However, the big data regulatory system centered on the Personal Information Protection Act does not take into account the aspect of big data as an economic material and causes many obstacles to utilize it as a research purpose. The regulatory system of healthcare information, centered on the primary purpose of patient treatment, should be improved in a way that is compatible with the development of technology and easy to use for public interest. To this end, it is necessary to examine the trends of overseas legal system reflecting the concerns about the balance of protection and utilization of personal information. Based on the implications of the overseas legal system, we can derive improvement points in the following directions from our legal system. First, a legal system that specializes in healthcare information and encompasses protection and utilization is needed. De-identification, which is an exception to the Privacy Act, should also clearly define its level. It is necessary to establish a legal basis for linking healthcare big data to create synergy effects in research. It is also necessary to examine the introduction of the opt-out system on the basis of the discussion on the foreign debate and social consensus. But most importantly, it is the people's trust in these systems.

  • In this changing, complex modern society, as one-person households, dual income households and the elderly population increases and the survey environment gets worse, the past 'method' in which high costs and much time are needed, should face the environmental change. When considering the fact that developed countries in Northern Europe such as Denmark and Finland use administrative data for the Censuses, Korea should carry out further research to use resident registration administrative data in the Registration Census. Based on administrative data, the Registration Census is expected to reduce survey costs and to increase the accuracy and timeliness of surveys. Moreover, a wide variety of statistical demand will be satisfied by producing advanced statistics through the links among administrative data. The paper examines the difference when linking both resident registration administrative data and the results of 2005 Population Census, with a view to improving the Population Census method and preparing for the information age. Also this paper presents some proposals for future Population Censuses. With confidentiality given the top priority, this paper examines the link with matching value of ages and genders at Haeundae-gu, Busan and Boeun-gun, Chungbuk for pragmatic research. Hoenam-myeon, Boeun-gun, Chungbuk marks a low matching rate. Focused on Hoenam-myeon data, this research directly compares the results of 2005 Population Census with resident registration administrative data. Births, deaths, out-migrations and in-migrations from resident registration administrative data as of November 1st 2005 are used especially to increase comparison with the results of 2005 Population Census.

  • This study concerns the integrated gas sensor system of wire and wireless communication by using IoT(Internet of Things) technology. First, communication part is that it delivers the detection information, which transferred by wire or wireless communication and required control procedure based on a wireless module that receives the gas leakage information from wired or wireless detector, to administrator or user's terminal. Second, receiver part is that it shows the location and information, which received from the wired detector formed by a detecting sensor's node as linking with the communication part, and transfers these to the communication part. Third, wireless detector formed as a communication module of a detecting sensor node is that it detects gas leakage and transfers the information through wireless as a packet.Fourth, wired detector communicated with the receiver part and formed as a communication module of a detecting sensor node is that it detects gas leakage, transfers and shows the information as a packet. Fifth, administrator's terminal is that it receives gas leakage information by the communication part, transfers the signal by remote-control, and shut off a gas valve as responding the information. Sixth, database is that it is connected with the communication part; it sets and stores the default values for detecting smoke, CO., and temperature; it transfers this information to the communication part or sends a gas detecting signal to user's terminal. Seventh, user's terminal is that it receives each location's default value which stored and set at the database; it manages emergency situation as shutting off a gas valve through remote control by corresponding each location's gas leakage information, which transferred from the detector to the communication part by wireless. It is possible to process a high quality data regarding flammable or toxic gas by transferring the data, which measured by a sensor module of detector, to the communication part through wire and wireless. And, it allows a user to find the location by a smart phone where gas leaks. Eventually, it minimizes human life or property loss by having stability on gas leakage as well as corresponding each location's information quickly.

  • Characteristics of rubber mixture were evaluated in order to find the optimum mixing conditions of compounds containing silica and silane at various temperatures. With different mixing temperatures of 105, 120, 130, 140 and $160^{\circ}C$, the viscosity of the compound mixed at $105^{\circ}C$ showed a very high viscosity value. Compounds mixed the temperature range from at $120^{\circ}C$ to $140^{\circ}C$ showed lower viscosity than the compound mixed at $105^{\circ}C$. However, the difference was found to be small in those temperature ranges. On the contrary, at the mixing temperature of $160^{\circ}C$, the viscosity of compound increased again. Through the physical and dynamic observations, it was verified that at the mixing temperature below $120^{\circ}C$ only insufficient silica-silane reaction has been obtained. In addition, with the elevated mixing temperature of $160^{\circ}C$, Cross-linking occurred during mixing by the sulfur contained in coupling agent. In the temperature ranges from $120^{\circ}C$ to $140^{\circ}C$, because of the fast coupling reaction at higher temperature, it was thought to be more advantageous during reaction even though the trend of viscosity and dynamic mechanical property was not clear.

  • Purposes : The purpose of this study is to identify factors that have effects on safety activities of hospital personnels by investigating causality between patient safety culture, job stress, safety system and safety activities of faculty and staff member who are working for oriental medicine hospital of university. Methodology : The subjects were 246 employees working in 4 oriental medicine hospitals of university in Daejeon and Chungcheongnam-do. The data were collected from January 16 to January 25, 2017 using a structured questionnaire. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, t-test, ANOVA and Duncan test with SPSS 22.0 were used. Findings : The activity score for patient safety of faculty and staff member, who were experienced at job training program after joining a company and regular training course for qualification or license, was meaningfully higher than that of group who had no job training experience. The result indicated that the higher there is level of safety culture and safety system and the lower there is work stress, the more the activity has positive effect on patient safety. The level score of awareness for safety culture of faculty and staff member in C hospital, which is facing financial crisis in business circumstances recently, showed average value of 3.29. It was significantly lower than that of the other three hospital. Also, The activity score for patient safety was markedly lower than that of the other three hospital. This result become interested in the process of linking non-financial performance and financial performance. The level score of safety activity in A hospital which obtained healthcare accreditation was remarkably higher than that of the other three hospital which didn't certify healthcare accreditation. Pratical Implications : Subjects about Q.I or patient's experience management must be included in curriculum of Oriental medicine. It is necessary to get the effect of job training program for faculty and staff member through the process of preparation for obtaining healthcare accreditation. When the hospital director is appointed, it must be considered that he/she has the ability to attach importance to analysis and management of the factors creating safety accident, and has business mindset for healthcare delivery of customer- centricity. This research showed that financial performance of hospital, which of business environment is favorable; located in metropolitan city and having large scale of hospital and quality of residence rating but low-level of safety culture and safety activity, was lower than that of general hospital situated in small and medium-sized cities. More research needs to be done for answering this result.

  • The objective of this study is to assess impacts of sorption heterogeneity on the transport of leachate leaked from unlined landfill sites and is accomplished by examining the results from a series of Monte-Carlo simulations. For random distribution coefficient ($K_{d}$) fields with four different levels of heterogeneity ranging from homogeneous to highly heterogeneous, the transport of leachate was investigated by linking a saturated flow model with a contaminant transport model. Impacts of a chemical heterogeneity were evaluated using point statistics values such as mean, standard deviation, and coefficient of variation of the concentration obtained at monitoring wells from 100 Monte-Carlo trials. Inspection of point statistics shows that the distribution of distribution coefficient in the landfill site proves to be an important parameter in controlling leachate concentrations. In comparison to homogeneous sorption, heterogeneous $K_{d^-}$ fields produce the variability in the leachate concentration for different realizations. The variability increases significantly as the variance in the $K_{d^-}$ field and the travel time between source and monitoring well increase. These outcomes indicate that use of a constant homogeneous $K_{d}$ value for predicting the transport of leachate can result in significant error, especially when variability in $K_{d}$ is high.

  • In this study, an anthracene cross-linker is introduced to enhance the catalytic activity of glucose oxidase (GOx) based catalysts and to increase the amount of enzyme loading. The crosslinked GOx is bonded with the CNT/PEI support using the electrostatic interaction (AC[CNT/PEI/GOx]). Electrochemical evaluations are done to evaluate the performance of this catalyst and the performance of CNT/PEI/GOx catalyst is also measured as a control. According to the measurements, it is confirmed that the amount of loaded GOx increases, while $K_m$ value calculated by Lineweaver-Burk plot shows that AC[CNT/PEI/GOx] ($K_m$ : 0.73 mM) is superior to CNT/PEI/GOx ($K_m$ : 1.71 mM) without cross-linking reaction. Based on these effects, it is demonstrated that the maximum power density of the enzymatic biofuel cell using AC[CNT/PEI/GOx] increases from $21.2{\mu}W/cm^2$ to $57.4{\mu}W/cm^2$.
