  • 최근 몇 년간 게임 산업은 급격한 성장을 보이며, 이에 따라 게임교육 역시 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이전까지는 게임이 악영향을 미치는 것으로 일반적인 인식이 있었으나, 현재는 게임을 학습에 활용하는 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 게임이 교육 분야에도 활용될 수 있다는 아이디어는 이미 과거부터 제시되어 왔지만, 최근에는 이러한 아이디어가 혁신적인 게임교육 분야로 진화하고 있다. 이 논문에서는 차세대 게임교육의 발전 방향을 살펴보고, 인공지능, 가상현실 및 협력학습 기술이 어떻게 게임교육에 적용될 수 있는지 논의할 것이다.

The Effect of Leader's Coaching and LMX on Innovative Behavior of Automotive VR Technology Researcher: Focusing on Mediated Effect of Resilience

  • In this study, we tried to demonstrate the influence of leader's coaching and LMX on the member's innovation vibrator and to provide implications. This study reviewed the reader's coaching, LMX, the theories of the member's innovation behabior, resiliency, and the studies and discussions that have been carried out in the past, and finally produced five hypotheses. To verify this research theory, this study collected data from 320 automotive company researchers using VR interaction technology. The collected data were used for frequency analysis, reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation analysis. An Empirical Analysis are confirming a result of this study can be summarized as follows. First, leader's coaching have a positive effect on resilience. Second, is have a positive effect on resilience lmx. Third, the researchers is high resilience innovative behavior to promote positive influence. Fourth, resilience leader's coaching the innovative behavior the impact on. Fifth, are lmx resilience innovative behavior the impact on. Through the conclusion and discussion section, the theoretical practical significance of this study and the limitations of the research and the direction of future research are presented.

A Study on the Contents for Travel Destination Recommender Using Virtual Reality Technology (가상현실을 활용한 여행지 추천 콘텐츠 연구)

  • VIRTUAL REALITY is a technology that enables users to experience environments that are difficult to experience, such as games, medical care, defense, and manufacturing industries. In this study, we propose the development of contents that can utilize the virtual reality technology to taste the destinations to travel in advance and to select the places to travel. Generally, when you decide on a destination, use the website or booklet to search for information about the destination. In recent years, applications that recommend travel destinations have also been developed and utilized. However, if information about travel destinations is implemented as a virtual reality, it will be possible to obtain more reliable and realistic information. Like Google Maps VR, you can show the globe as a whole, zoom in or out, and click on a keyword to recommend a tourist destination that matches the keyword. It uses internet browsing cookies to automatically display tourist attractions according to user's interest.

Social Welfare Education and ICT(Information and Communication Technology) Utilization: Contents Analysis (사회복지교육과 ICT(Information and Communication Technology) 활용: 콘텐츠분석)

  • The aim of this study is to explore 'how is ICT being used in social work education and are they effective?' In order to answer the questions, a content analysis was conducted. Three academic databases, DBPIA, Kiss, EBSCO were searched to look for the articles that investigated ICT and social work education between Jan. 2016 and July, 2022. No study was found from DBPIA and Kiss. Based on inclusion criteria, thirteen articles were selected from EBSCO. Those articles were analyzed following 9 analytic themes: Country, Undergraduate or Graduate Student, Pedagogical Theory, Course Goal, Course Content, Evaluation Method, Outcome, Applied Software or Program. As results of the study, the platforms primarily used for social work education were VR, Second Life, PeopleSIM, course-tailored Applications. In addition, the following was illustrated as effectiveness of ICT in social work education; immersiveness, course satisfaction, improved knowledge, etc. Study limitations and recommendations of future applications were also discussed.

  • 최근 초고화질 영상, 가상현실 등 프리미엄 콘텐츠에 대한 요구가 커지면서 360° VR과 8K TV 등의 시장이 확대되고 있다. 360° VR 영상을 만드는 데에 스티칭 기술이 사용되고 있고, 8K 영상을 촬영할 수 있는 장비는 매우 제한적이기 때문에 스티칭 기술을 통해 콘텐츠를 확보하려는 노력이 이어지고 있다. 스티칭 기술은 여러 영상을 합성하여 기존 카메라의 좁은 시야각 문제를 해결하고 보다 넓은 시야각의 영상을 만드는 기술이다. 최근에는 해당 분야에 관한 연구가 진행됨에 따라 이미지를 넘어 동영상 스티칭에 대한 연구가 주로 진행되고 있다, 기존 동영상 스티칭 방식은 이미지 스티칭 방식을 프레임마다 반복하기 때문에 시간이 오래 걸린다는 단점이 있다. 컴퓨터 비전 분야에서는 딥러닝을 활용하여 객체가 존재할 것으로 예측되는 부분에 사각형 모양의 경계 상자(Bounding box)를 생성하는 객체 탐지(Object detection) 분야에 관한 많은 연구가 이루어져 왔고 이를 기반으로 객체의 경계선을 검출하여 해당 영역만을 구분하는 객체 분할(Instance segmentation)에 대한 연구 또한 진행 중이다. 본 논문에서는 앞서 말한 스티칭 속도 문제를 해결하기 위하여 빠른 속도로 객체 분할이 가능한 YOLACT를 이용하여 스티칭 속도를 개선하는 방안을 제안한다.

Development and Application of a Maker Education Program Using Virtual Reality Technology in Elementary Science Class: Focusing on the Unit of 'Animal Life' (초등 과학 수업에서 VR 기술을 활용한 메이커교육 프로그램의 개발과 적용 - '동물의 생활' 단원을 중심으로 -)

  • This study developed and applied a maker education program for an elementary school's science unit on 'Animal Life'. It examined the program's impact on students' academic achievement and creative problem-solving ability. The theme of the maker education program was 'creating a robot virtual reality (VR) exhibition hall mimicking animal characteristics'. It explored scientific concepts and creatively created a robot VR exhibition hall in accordance with the TMI maker education model. Findings revealed that the program significantly improved students' academic achievement and creative problem-solving ability (p<.05). This study provides evidence for the effectiveness of maker education in elementary school science classes and suggests that using maker education can increase students' interest in and engagement with science learning. To implement maker education more actively in elementary school science classes, stakeholders should develop various topics and programs. Additional research investigating the effectiveness of maker education in different age groups and various other areas of elementary science education is required to generalize the results of this study. Moreover, educational and teacher capacity building is required for educators to utilize maker education effectively.

Effect of 2D Forest Video Viewing and Virtual Reality Forest Video Viewing on Stress Reduction in Adults (2D 숲동영상 및 Virtual Reality 숲동영상 시청이 성인의 스트레스 감소에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the effect of watching a two-dimensional (2D) forest video and a virtual reality (VR) forest video on stress reduction in adults. Experiments were conducted in an artificial climate room, and 40 subjects participated. After inducing stress in the subjects, subjects watched a 2D gray video, 2D forest video, or VR forest video for 5 mins. The autonomic nervous system activity was evaluated continuously in terms of measured heart rate variability during the experiment. After each experiment, the subject's psychological state was evaluated using a questionnaire. The 2D forest video decreased the viewer's stress index, increased HF, and reduced heart rate compared with the 2D gray video. The VR forest video had a greater stress index reduction effect, LF/HF increase effect, and heart rate reduction effect than the 2D gray video. Psychological measurements showed that subjects felt more comfortable, natural, and calm when watching the 2D gray video, 2D forest video or VR forest video. We also found that the 2D forest video and VR forest video increased positive emotions and reduced negative emotions compared to the 2D gray video. Based on these results, it can be concluded that watching the 2D forest and VR forest videos reduces the stress index and heart rate compared with watching the 2D gray video. Thus, it is considered that the 2D forest video increases the activity of the parasympathetic nervous system, and the VR forest video increases the activity of the sympathetic nervous system. The increased activity of the sympathetic nervous system upon watching the VR forest video is judged to be positive sympathetic nerve activity, such as novelty and curiosity, and not negative sympathetic activity, such as stress and tension. The results of this study are expected to be the basis for examining the visual effects of forest healing, with hope that the utilization of VR, the technology of the fourth industrial revolution in the forestry field, will broaden.

  • This study proposes a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) program for career exploration of middle school students. The proposed program utilizes VR (Virtual Reality) for new digital technology and webtoon as a popular cultural element. It enables the students to investigate promising fields and experience them virtually for themselves. We design the program based on the 2015 revised curriculum, which enhances the learning effects with existing subjects. In particular, the program provides a hybrid education to combine contact and untact classes considering the COVID-19 situation. The educational goal of the proposed program is to improve creativity and convergence capability. Specifically, it aims to prepare an educational foundation that integrates new digital technologies into education and applies the programs to school education fields. To prove the effectiveness of the developed program, we applied the program to the second graders of A middle school located in Seoul. We expect that the proposed program helps students learn how to utilize new digital technologies and explore future career paths.

  • 본 논문은 VR을 기반으로 하여 별도의 장갑이나 핸드헬드 디바이스 없이 치매 예방과 재활치료를 위한 VR을 이용함으로써 사용자의 두뇌 사용능력과 신체 활동성을 증가시켜 치매예방과 재활치료 효과를 향상시킬 수 있도록 하였다. 치매 예방 콘텐츠로는 치매의 대표적인 원인인 뇌세포의 퇴화에 초점을 맞춰 기억력, 논리력, 산술능력, 공간인지능력 등을 훈련할 수 있도록 구성하고, 노인을 위한 재활치료 콘텐츠로는 상지훈련, 하지훈련, 정신훈련, 밸런스훈련 등에 효과적이도록 구성하였다. 1:N 방식의 그룹훈련으로 고도화하여 다수의 사용자 또는 그룹이 작업치료사 한 명의 통제를 받아 치매예방 및 인지훈련이 가능한 시스템 개발하고 공공보건의료시설, 요양원, 재활의학과 보유병원 등에서 이용할 수 있다.

  • 고해상도 타일 디스플레이 기술은 사용자에게 넓은 시야각과 높은 정밀도를 제공하여 가상현실 시스템 개발을 위해 널리 활용되고 있다. 이러한 VR 용 타일 디스플레이 시스템 구축을 위해 일반적으로 분산형 PC 클러스터 방식이 주로 이용되나, 추가적인 멀티채널 모듈이 필요하고 시스템의 운영과 관리가 어려운 단점이 있다. 최근에는 하나의 전용 그래픽 워크스테이션을 이용하여 다중 디스플레이가 가능한 방식이 소개되고 있지만, 그 출력 갯수가 제한적이다. 본 연구에서는 하나의 워크스테이션으로 운영되는 렌더링 시스템과 다수의 타일 스크린 장치를 확장성 있게 연결하기 위해, 다중 디스플레이 영상처리 장치를 도입하여 가상현실 시스템을 구축하고, 간단한 실시간 렌더링 프로그램의 구동을 통해 그 성능과 응용 가능성을 확인하고자 하였다.
