  • The reliability of 3D NAND flash memory cell is affected by the charge migration which can be divided into the vertical migration and the lateral migration. To clarify the difference of two migrations, the activation energy of the charge loss is extracted and compared in a conventional square device pattern and a new test pattern where the perimeter of the gate is exaggerated but the area is same. The charge loss is larger in the suggested test pattern and the activation energy is extracted to be 0.058 eV while the activation energy is 0.28 eV in the square pattern.

초전도 한류기용 YBCO 박막 전류 Path Pattern 개발 (Development of new current path pattern of YBCO thin films for Superconducting fault current limiters)

  • In this study, electromagnetic analysis of current paths including meander pattern, spiral pattern, and bi-spiral pattern were performed and in order to verity the analysis results, experiments tests including quench test, and insulation tests were performed. In addition, bubble corner concepts were introduced to enhance insulation reliability. From our study, bi-spiral pattern of YBCO thin films were rather effective for quench and insulation than the other patterns. So this current path pattern was adopted for YBCO thin films in order to develop 6.6 kV resistive fault current limiters. Finally YBCO thin films were connected in series and parallel to enhance capacity, and the test results of current limiting characteristics of 6.6kV resistive SFCL were successful. The Progress in Superconductivity is published every six month and serves as a channel for publications on superconductivity and related topics. PMOS 기술을 이용한 512 Bit Mask Programmable ROM의 설계 및 제작 (A 512 Bit Mask Programmable ROM using PMOS Technology)

  • PMOS집적기술을 이용하여 512-Bit mask programmable ROM을 설계하고 제작하였다. ROM의 내용은 제작공정에서 gate pattern으로 기억시켰으며 chip의 출력을 512(32×16)개의 점의 행렬로써 오실로스코프에 나타내어 확인하였다. 제작된 chip은 -6V와 - l2V의 범위에서 정상적으로 동작하였다 소모전력과 전달지연시간은 -6V에서 각각 3mW와 13μsec였다. -12V에서는 소모전력이 27mW로 증가하였으며 전달지연시간은 3μsec로 감소하였다. Chip의 출력은 TTL gate의 인력을 직접 구동시킬 수 있었으며 chip select에 의하여 출력을 disable 시켰을 때는 높은 임피던스 상태를 유지하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 모바일환경에서의 사용자 감정인지를 통한 개인화 서비스 지원에 필요한 위치기반 센싱 데이터의 전처리 기법과 사용자 감정 데이터의 구축 및 전처리를 위한 V-A 감정 모델에서의 감정 데이터 전처리 기법에 대하여 연구한다. 이를 위하여 그래뉼러 컨텍스트 트리 및 스트링 매칭 기반의 감정 패턴 매칭 기법을 사용한다. 또한 상황 인지를 통한 개인화 서비스를 위해 확률 기반 추론을 이용한 상황 인식 및 개인화 서비스 추천 기법에 대하여 연구한다.

  • The effect of post-weld heat treatment (PWHT) of marine structures steel was investigated at electrochemical viewpoint. In addition, slow strain rate test (SSRT) was carried out to investigate both electrochemical and mechanical properties by PWHT effect during impressed current cathodic protection. The optimum cathodic protection potential by SSRT was -770 mV(SCE). At the applied cathodic protection potential of -770 mV -850 mV(SCE), the fracture morphology was dimple pattern with ductile fracture, while it was transgranular pattern (Q.C: quasi cleavage) under -875 mV(SCE).

  • HFPD(High Frequency Partial Discharge) measurement has been widely performed to diagnose cable system in the world. Shin-Yeongdeungpo 345kV XLPE line was successfully diagnosed by PD measurement methode last year. Moreover, aged power cable lines which were installed 15 years ago have been tested from this year. In this paper, the result of PD diagnosis for aged 154kV cable line is reported. The PD pattern from TMJ which was monitored by PD measurement system for several days showed typical void pattern. The joint was replaced and voids between semi-conductor layer and insulating layer in the joint was founded.

PCB의 금속 이온 마이그레이션 현상에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Metallic ion Migration Phenomena of PCB)

  • Recently a lots of problems have observed in high densified and high integrated electronic components. One of them is ion migration phenomena, which induce the electrical short of electrical circuit. ion migration phenomena has been observed in the field of exposing the specific environment and using for a long tin e. This study was evaluated the generation time of ion migration and was investigated properly test method through water drop test and high temperature high humidity test. Also we observed direct causes and confirmed generation mechanism of dendritic growth as we reproduced the ion migration phenomena. We utilized PCB(printed circuit board) having a comb pattern as follows 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 mm pattern distance. Cu, SnPb and Au were electroplated on the comb pattern. 6.5 V and 15 V were applied in the comb pattern and then we measured the electrical short time causing by ion migration. In these results, we examined a difference of ion migration time depending on pattern materials, applied voltage and pattern spacing of PCB conductor.

대칭형상의 평판 전극 주위의 비대칭 절연유체 유동 (Asymmetric Electrohydrodynamic Flow of Dielectric Liquid around Symmetric Coplanar Electrodes)

  • This paper presents experimental observation of asymmetric electrohydrodynamic flow generated around a pair of symmetric coplanar electrodes. Electrodes are attached on the bottom of the cavity containing a dielectric liquid, i.e., a mixture of dodecane and 0.5% wt Span80. In the first experiment, an AC voltage of 1500 V is applied with the frequency varying in the range 10~500 hz and the left electrode being grounded. The flow patterns show that the center line of vortices is unexpectedly tilted to the left side. If the right side electrode is grounded, the center line is tilted to the right side. The magnitude of the fluid velocity shows an irregular variation with the frequency in the range 10 Hz~100 Hz, beyond which it simply decays. In the second experiment, we applied fixed AC with 1000 V and 60 Hz superposed by DC voltage varying in the range -1000 V ~ +1000 V. The center line of the flow pattern is tilted to the right side with positive DC voltage and to the left side with negative DC. We have managed to show that the flow pattern can be symmetric with a suitable combination of DC and AC, e.g., DC 850 V plus AC 1000 V with the frequency 10 Hz.
