  • Recently, applications are increasing the importance of security for published documents. This paper deals with data-publishing where the publishers must state sensitive information that they need to protect. If a document containing such sensitive information is accidentally posted, users can use common-sense reasoning to infer unauthorized information. In recent studied of peer-to-peer databases, studies on the security of data of various unique groups are conducted. In this paper, we propose a security framework that fundamentally blocks user inference about sensitive information that may be leaked by XML constraints and prevents sensitive information from leaking from general user. The proposed framework protects sensitive information disclosed through encryption technology. Moreover, the proposed framework is query view security without any three types of XML constraints. As a result of the experiment, the proposed framework has mathematically proved a way to prevent leakage of user information through data inference more than the existing method.

  • As the perception of sports activities changes positively, the desire and popularity for sports activities are rapidly increasing. Therefore, the popularity of sporting events is also increasing. Previous studies on sporting events have focused only on research in the field of social sciences. Therefore, in this study, in order to increase customer satisfaction and customer loyalty of sports event visitors, they were classified into challenge factors, competition factors, achievement factors, and relationship factors, and their effects on satisfaction and loyalty were studied and analyzed. And based on the research design model and empirical analysis, a user-based sports event matching system was proposed.

  • User preferences and ratings may be anticipated by recommendation systems, which are widely used in social networking, online shopping, healthcare, and even energy efficiency. Constructing trustworthy recommender systems for various applications, requires the analysis and mining of vast quantities of user data, including demographics. This study focuses on holding elections with vague voter and candidate preferences. Collaborative user ratings are used by filtering algorithms to provide suggestions. To avoid information overload, consumers are directed towards items that they are more likely to prefer based on the profile data used by recommender systems. Better interactions between governments, residents, and businesses may result from studies on recommender systems that facilitate the use of e-government services. To broaden people's access to the democratic process, the concept of "e-democracy" applies new media technologies. This study provides a framework for an electronic voting advisory system that uses machine learning.

  • Recommender Systems have gained much popularity among researchers and is applied in a number of applications. The exponential growth of users and products poses some key challenges for recommender systems. Recommender Systems mostly suffer from scalability and accuracy. The accuracy of Recommender system is somehow inversely proportional to its scalability. In this paper we proposed a Context Aware Hybrid Recommender System using matrix reduction for Hybrid model and clustering technique for predication of item features. In our approach we used user item-feature rating, User Demographic information and context information i.e. specific time and day to improve scalability and accuracy. Our Algorithm produce better results because we reduce the dimension of items features matrix by using different reduction techniques and use user demographic information, construct context aware hybrid user model, cluster the similar user offline, find the nearest neighbors, predict the item features and recommend the Top N- items.

  • Recently popular media, book, has problems to satisfy a child who wants to be a character in a story, because it just transmits fixed story. Therefore, many people are interested in interactive contents that are changed variously by user's acting in multimedia division. This paper introduces an interactive pop-up book system that can control a story of book by interesting interactivity. This system suggests a special story graph that transforms a linear architecture story to a interactive story by traversing diverse node We focus to make a special pop-up book interface and wind blowing interface for physical environments to have interesting and familiar user interaction, and to conclude by user studies. We also investigated user preference for various interactive story paths, so we can excluded unnecessary stories and surveyed to compare before the excluding and after. Finally, story paths that user prefers are introduced in the Interactive Popup Book System.

  • The development of mobile devices and the spread of wireless network help share and exchange information and resources more easily. The bond them to Cloud Computing technology help pay attention to "Mobile Cloud" service, so there have been being a lot of studies on "Mobile Cloud" service. Especially, the important of 'Personalization Service' which is customized for each user's preference and context has been increasing. In order to provide appropriate personalization services, it enables to recognize user's current state, analyze the user's profile like user's tendency and preference, and draw the service answering the user's request. Most existing frameworks, however, are not very suitable for mobile devices because they were proposed on the web-based. And other context information except location information among user's context information are not much considered. Therefore, this paper proposed the context-aware framework, which provides more suitable services by using user's context and profile.

  • In the field of user interface design for interactive product, it is becoming more important than ever to understand emotional quality and its characteristics. By a series of experiments on emotional quality of user interface, this paper aimed to develope a systematic approach to investigating emotional quality. First, a emotional quality framework that consists of 6 dimensions (Usefulness, Easy of Use, Aesthetics, Stimulation, Identification, and Harmony) and 18 elements was developed through two experiments that users and UI expert participated in. Second, by conducting a user survey based on the emotional quality framework, it was illustrated how various emotional qualities of interactive product can be evaluated and what effects they have on overall satisfaction of the product. Finally, this paper analyzed the relative importance of emotional quality dimensions and the contextual factors that change emotional quality, and provided basic knowledge related to the construction of emotional quality for the succeeding studies.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze influencing factors for the user satisfaction of information commons(IC) in school libraries. Relevant previous studies inform four candidate factors that could affect the user satisfaction. Based upon these factors and user interviews, a questionnaire are constructed to form 29 items in total. As the main data, 412 samples are collected from the IC users from 3 high schools in Seoul. Analyses lead to these findings: factors affecting the user satisfaction are identified. They are IC facilities, human services, and achievement level of self-directed learning. It seems that, in ICs, users prefer using space and facilities by themselves to accessing contents. This study suggests ways to improve user satisfaction. It would be essential to introduce IC facilities to current and potential users, to install instruments to enhance achievement level of self-directed learning, and to train users through library education programs.

  • Digilog Book, the next generation publication material, supplies digitalized contents on an analog book by integrating digital contents into existing analog books. There are some studies related to authoring tools which are to authorize, and publish some books which provide digital contents by using VR or AR techniques. In this paper, a pen-type haptic user interface for Digilog Book authoring tool has been introduced. This haptic user interface is developed for more realistic and more effective authoring tasks. This haptic interface provides haptic effects for authoring tasks which are including translation, rotation, scaling, and menu selection. In this research, we designed a body, control circuits, vibration haptic patterns for haptic user interface, and a protocol for between haptic user interface and Digilog Book main control system. Also a simple user study has been done with a developed haptic user interface.

  • This study is a study that analyzes the user experience of a virtual makeup application in the beauty industry where color or formulation testing is important. Recently, cases of beauty smart stores and beauty applications using AR and AI are increasing. However, since virtual makeup is different from testing a real product, it is necessary to derive needs through research from the user's side. In order to compare user preferences by using AR and AI cases, six factors based on the emotional interface model were analyzed through a questionnaire to identify items with statistically significant figures. As a result, the user felt comfortable with the virtual makeup function, but showed that it needs to be supplemented in terms of reliability. Since this study focused on the customer experience as a real user and identified the main experience factors and needs of virtual makeup through two types of comparison, it is hoped that this study will be useful as a prior study.
