  • Information is used effectively and contributes in profit creation and not only support management judgment quick but important resource to be possible recycled. The recent information systems improve enterprise's competitive power by reflection of user's various requirements and becoming big and complex for adaptation of rapidly circumstance change. Also it is trend that importance of information quality is emphasized gradually. The biggest problem in user requirement that is based on low quality data support. In case of business management is achieved by low quality information, company can not help dropping their competitive power such as company's strategy establishment, strategy achievement and management concentration breakup against competitor. Information of low quality increase time and expense to improve inaccurate data or revise and it is hard to accept correct information from specific situation. To solve these problems, we have to gain high quality data through definite comprehension, data management system establishment, and systematic data management achievement etc. Up to now, information quality and connected study were developed partially, but systematic methodology of information quality management's whole condition was not existed. Therefore, in this paper can show you how to extract process for information quality management & related evaluate factor with CMM (Capacity Maturity Mode]) 5 steps that is information warranty of quality process step. This paper whishes to contributes in competitive company or organization activity through information quality improvement management process.

  • In order to support various QoS, IETF has proposed the Differentiated Services Model which provides discrimination service according to t the user’s requirements and payment intention intention for each traffic characteristic. This model is an excellent mechanism, which is not too c complicated in terms of the management for service and network model. Also, it has scalability that satisfies the requirement of Differentiated Services. In this paper, We define the Differentiated Services Model using feedback control, propose its control procedure, and analyze its p performance. In conventional model, non-adaptive traffic, such as UDP traffic, is more occupied the network resource than adaptive traffic, such a as TCP traffic. On the other hand, the Differentiated Services Model using feedback control fairly utlizes the network resources and even p prevents congestion occurrence due to its ability of congestion expectation.

A Minimum Data-Rate Guaranteed Resource Allocation With Low Signaling Overhead in Multi-Cell OFDMA Systems

  • In this paper, we investigate how to do resource allocation to guarantee a minimum user data rate at low signaling overhead in multi-cell orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) wireless systems. We devise dynamic resource allocation (DRA) algorithms that can minimize the QoS violation ratio (i.e., the ratio of the number of users who fail to get the requested data rate to the total number of users in the overall network). We assume an OFDMA system that allows dynamic control of frequency reuse factor (FRF) of each sub-carrier. The proposed DRA algorithms determine the FRFs of the sub-carriers and allocate them to the users adaptively based on inter-cell interference and load distribution. In order to reduce the signaling overhead, we adopt a hierarchical resource allocation architecture which divides the resource allocation decision into the inter-cell coordinator (ICC) and the base station (BS) levels. We limit the information available at the ICC only to the load of each cell, that is, the total number of sub-carriers required for supporting the data rate requirement of all the users. We then present the DRA with limited coordination (DRA-LC) algorithm where the ICC performs load-adaptive inter-cell resource allocation with the limited information while the BS performs intra-cell resource allocation with full information about its own cell. For performance comparison, we design a centralized algorithm called DRA with full coordination (DRA-FC). Simulation results reveal that the DRA-LC algorithm can perform close to the DRA-FC algorithm at very low signaling overhead. In addition, it turns out to improve the QoS performance of the cell-boundary users, and achieve a better fairness among neighboring cells under non-uniform load distribution.

  • The queuing theory was adopted by Erlang to predict the availability of telephone lines in 1917 and had not been used for computer system performance analysis until late 1960s when Scherr published a performance analysis of time-shared computer system. In 2000s, the explosive Internet usage and the development of IT technology made the business environment speed-centric and analysts should react swiftly to the ever-changing situation to satisfy the user requirement. It's tempting to solve the performance problem by purchasing new devices because the price of computers and peripherals are rapidly decreasing along with their increasing performance. But this scheme not only makes it difficult to understand the overall performance of the system but also wastes money. A coarse performance model that is gotten quickly is sometimes preferred to a complex and precise one that takes longer time to get. This paper examines an analytic model suggested by Menasce based on the measured data and suggests a simulation model using ARENA that takes a short time to build.

  • There are three essential components of eLoran: dLoran, data map of ASF, and the Loran data channel. Particularly, dLoran improves navigation accuracy, which is the core technology of eLoran systems. The requirement of HEA's absolute accuracy, less than 20 meters, can be satisfied via dLoran measurements and their corrections. In this study, dLoran measurements using the Pohang Loran-C (9930M) station signal were conducted at Yeongil Bay. We established a dLoran reference station at Homigot Management Office for navigation aids within the Bay. We estimated the effectiveness of the dLoran between the reference site (Homigot Management Office) and a test site (Heunghwan beach) by measuring TOAs. We verified that the TOA data measured at these two regions were highly correlated. The temporal differences in the data between the dLoran reference station and test site were about 10~30 ns per day, which is equivalent to a ranging error of 3~9 m. This result shows that eLoran can meet the requirement of 8~20 meters position accuracy for maritime HEA by correcting the ASF at the user's receiver.

  • First of all, What was the modeling technique used to model 3D-Game character? It's a technique developed along several years, by experience... here is the bases Low polygons characters I always work in low polygon for two reasons -You can easily modify a low-poly character, change shapes, make morph for facial expressions etc -You can easily animate a low-poly character When the modeling is finished, Second, In these days, Computer hardware technologies have been bring about that expansion of various 3D digital motion pictured information and development. 3D digital techniques can be used to be diversity in Animation, Virtual-Reality, Movie, Advertisement, Game and so on. Besides, as computing power has been better and higher, the development of 3D Animations and Character are required gradually. In order to satisfy the requirement, Research about how to make 3D Game modeling that represents Character's emotions, sensibilities, is beginning to set its appearance. 3D characters in 3D Games are the core for the communications of emotion and the informations through their facial expression and characteristic motions, Sounds to Users. All concerning about 3D motion and facial expression are getting higher with extension of frequency in use. Therefore, in this study we suggest the effective method of modeling for 3D character and which are based on 2D Graphics.

  • Thanks to current development of many search engines and web technologies, a new semantic searching technology appears, featuring giving a relevant meaning to the keyword beyond the previous keyword search service. On the wave of advance of various search engines, the enhancement of OASIS offered by KIOM is needed as well. To do this, KIOM examined demographic and sociological analysis on their position, status, and career, the convenience of OASIS, and the value of papers offered in OASIS from members who have ever used it. Furthermore, the importance of each area involved in oriental medicine is also examined in terms of a new direction for OASIS improvement. Based on the result of the user survey, it turned out that not only an automatic search system that can find meaning of chinese character-centered key words but also a Authority-system which can distinguish homonym beyond simple keyword search system should be introduced quickly. Also, we reached the conclusion that it is necessary to interconnect a citation index information on references with laboratory information of the agencies concerned and interconnect major web sites around the world by using Open API. OASIS is the only domestic web site for offering papers that cover oriental medicine. Therefore, if requirements about the site in oriental medical circles are analyzed sufficiently and the problems of its information search system are improved, OASIS is expected to play a critical role in the development of oriental medicine.

  • To build the system which has high utilization and usefulness for users, it is necessary to know the information type and use-demand that the use want. The purpose of this study is to forecast the preference and demand of utilization for bus information when bus information is offered through cellular phon. The accomplishments of this research are as follow : Firstly, importance on the level of individual factor and the value of change's figure can be evaluated, using preference analysis on bus information by conjoint analysis. Secondly, by establishing the use-demand model bus information using binary logit model, influence factor on whether or not the use of the user. Finally, ordered probit model was built by use behavior model in payment per call or per month of potential user of bus information. Through call times and sensitive analysis by payment methods, elasticity point, optimal payment fee, and use probability was analyzed. This study make application as basic to efficient bus information policy and to improve use rate of bus information in future because this study make it possible to get preference analysis, use-demand analysis and estimation of optimal payment fee which is reflecting various requirement in use of bus information user.

  • In this paper, we have designed and implemented mobile instant messenger which has extensible presence service capability. Most previous work on instant messaging system has some limitation with regard to interoperability and extensibility. To solve these problems, we have employed the presence service architecture of IETF. In order to provide extensible presence capability in the wireless mobile communication, we have employed the presence service attributes which are defined in OMA's IMPS architecture. In particular, we have designed and implemented the presence service libraries for manipulating the presence information in response to user's requirement. finally, we have developed the wireless E-mail service, employing the presence service architecture, to verity the extensibility.

  • Recently, there is increasing the development requirement of middleware and interface for GPS(Global Positioning System), RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification), sensor networks. GPS supports a useful location based service. RFID supports products logistic and distribution services through the identification. A sensor network collects a context information, such as humidity, temperature and atmospheric pressure. This paper implements and verifies a integrated service middleware for supporting efficiently process of sensing data collected from RFID, GPS and sensor network. This middleware have the temporary store function, the redundancy exclusion function, certification function, the classification function and the database storage function. Additionary, this middleware connects with low-level adaptor using socket interface and supports the high-level application services using database connection. Therefore, user can develop easily various many ubiquitous application system using proposed middleware instead of each RFID middleware, GPS middleware and, middleware based on sensor network.
