  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate suitability of Underground Facility Construction in great land development area. Because there are the construct of national integration information control system and the advance of information technique, the necessity that construct the UIS to manage the urban space systematically is enlarged. In the purpose that we prepare the base of underground facility management system by driving the step digitalizing facilities buried underground and protect urban safety accident, we introduce the GIS in land development area. This study proposes the improvement direction by examining the outcome through the driving method and the outcome analysis.

  • Recently, amount of High-Rise Mixed-use Building is Increasing based on Preference of comfortable residence and good view. Government policies were turned to prefer about High-Rise Mixed-use Building because of decreased real estate Condition. But these changes have revealed that it has many maintenance problems for example- efficiency, economic, environmental problems. This paper suggests that the Database System based on various alternatives and real case. And it will be a tool in the scientific decision and value analysis from the facility management to make optimized decision.

도시공원녹지에 대한 실외위락기능과 만족도의 계량적 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Quantitative Evaluation of Outdoor-Recreational Function and User Satisfaction with Urban Park and Open Space)

  • The Primary purpose of this study is to investigate factors and variables which have significant effects on user satisfaction with recreational facilities in Taejong-Dae recreational complex, thereby establishing indices of planning and development of urban parks and open space. To test the causal models of this research, the date were gathered by self-administered questionnaires from 967 households in Pusan City which were selected by the multi-stage probability sampling methood. The analysis of the multi-stage primarily consists of two phase : The first analysis dealt exploratory factor analysis which identified major factors involved in satisfaction with recreational activities and facilities in Taejong-Dae recreational complex and the second analysis tested the fit of the causal models of this research by employing LISREL methodology. There are three advantages of using LISREL over other multivariate analysis methods : First, measurement error is allowed and calculated in LISREL, otherwise there is a risk of seriously misleading estimates of coefficients ; Second, LISREL deals with latent variables or unmeasured variables ; Third, it enables to test causal relations among variables. The factors analysis identified that five factors are involved in satisfaction with recreational facilities. The five factors of satisfaction with recreational facilities are space for repose and relaxation, active recreation facilities such as pool and zoo, physical exercise facility, convenience and maintenance facility, and linear facility, and linear facility for walking. The second phase analysis tested the fit of the causal models for satisfaction with recreational facilities to the data and identified statistically significant causal linkage among overall satisfaction with Taejong-Dae recreational complex, other endogenous factors and exogenous variables. Overall fits of both causal models were very good. Among endogenous factors, facility for repose and relaxation. linear facility for walking, active recreation facility, facility for convenience and maintenance were identified as having significant effects on overall satisfaction. Exogenous variables which have significant effects on endogenous variables wer also identified. These significant relationships indicate important factors and variables that should be considered in planning and development of the recreational complex. On the basis of these significant causal relationships, implications for planning and the delovepment of Taejong-Dae recreational complex were suggested.

도시고가도로 입지구간 가로환경 설계 -능동로 '걷고싶은 거리'의 구간을 대상으로- (Designing the Space under the Urban Elevated Road -A Case Study for Nengdong-Ro Street-)

  • Although the urban elevated road is welcomed in modern society to deal with urban traffic problems, its negative influence on both the pedestrian environment and urban landscape has been frequently observed. Furthermore, the space under elevated structures has been ignored, being the lost space. Recently, several efforts have been devoted into bringing back the lostspace. However, any specific design guidelines shown in the street design of Japan and Singapore have not been suggested in Korea, yet. This study proposes a case of the Nengdong-Ro street design where the two-story urban elevated road is being constructed and negative effects of the elevated road are largely expected. One of the purposes of Nengdong-Ro street design proposed in this study is to relieve the negative effect os the two-story elevated road, and to provide a better pedestrian environment in Nengdong-Ro. The other purpose is to suggest general guidelines that can be applied to the similar context as Nengdong-Ro. It is considered that the space under the elevated road generally consist of three sections: 1) main section where the elevated road runs parallel with the ground, 2) landing section where elevated road goes down to the ground, and 3) facility section where facilities such as the platform and the ticketing booth are located. The design guidelines are suggested for each section, because each section has a different situation. Plans, section and elevations and the details of the street furniture are also incorporated to support the design guidelines.

도시와 농촌 노인의 건강기능 상태 및 요양시설 이용의사 (Health Status and Utilization of Long-term Care Facility in the Urban and Rural Aged)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify differences in health status and the utilization of long-term care service between urban and rural aged residents in Korea. Methods: Through convenience sampling, 1,405 elders (829 from urban areas and 576 from rural areas) were selected during March 1 to May 31 in 2004. All the subjects agreed to participate and filled out the survey questionnaire after signing the consent form. The instruments utilized in this study were the impairment of physio-sensory function, ADL IADL, cognitive function, and psycho-social function scale. This instrument was developed by modifying the scab developed by Gurland & Wilder (1984). Data was analyzed using the SPSS Win program. Results: There were significant differences in economic status, duration of living and type of medical insurance between rural and urban elderly(p<.05). Physio-sensory functions (t=4.53. p<.001), ADL (t=3.61. p<.001), IADL (t=2.45, p=.014), cognitive functions (t=-2.63. p=.024) and psycho-social functions (t=3.69. p<.001) were significantly different between the two groups. The utilization of long-term care facility in the urban elderly was significantly higher than that in the rural elderly ($x^2=10.14$, p<.001). Conclusion: Considering these findings. the need for long-term care should be assessed by residence characteristics. Because of different utilization of long term care facility according to the elderly's needs, long-term care services should be considered the residence characteristics.

도시민의 농촌지역 여가선택속성 분석 (Analysis of the Leisure Choice Attributes at Rural Area of Urban People)

  • This study intends to analyze urban peoples' leisure choice attributes of rural areas from a rural demand perspective. For this purpose, this study investigates regional attributes considered in decision making processes for rural tourism destinations of urban residents using a conjoint model as a stated preference model. Based on literature reviews, two questionnaire surveys were conducted. The first questionnaire survey was performed in 4 cities including Seoul, Daejeon, Suwon and Chuncheon with 408 urban residents. The Second questionnaire survey was performed in 5 cities including Seoul, Chuncheon, Daejeon, Jeonju and Busan with about 1,060 urban residents. The study results suggest that the most important attribute in selecting rural ares for tourism are activity programs and convenience of facility, according to part-worth and vector model. The fitness level of model is 0.986, which is very significant. Among the 5 attribute's levels, the rural residents' kindness, the traditional and the ecological programs and the facilities about sign and lodging are more critical factors than other levels. Utilities of each levels decreases as cost and arrival time increases. Regarding the result of market segmentations, respondents having intention to visit can be divided into 4 group; (1) facility or program oriented type, (2) resident's kindness oriented type, (3) arrival time oriented type, and (4) negatively participant type. The results of leisure choice attributes can provide insightful information for regional planning strategies, such as selection of the type of market segments and the key factor of facility and space planning.

의식조사를 통한 이용자 중심의 도시공원 조성방안 연구 - 잔디·녹지공간을 중심으로 - (A Study on the User-driven Urban Park Development Plan Awareness Survey - Focusing on Lawns·Grass Area -)

  • This study aims to analyze the current situation of and issues in the structure of urban neighborhood parks and park facility installation in cities in Gyeonggi-do. Then, based on its findings, plans to improve the space structure of the parks were examined and suggested to raise the city environment improvement function and green area base function of urban parks and fully satisfy users' needs for pleasant rest, recreation and cultural activities. The findings showed that, within parks, the area of grass where access was restricted reached about 24.4% in average. In other words, only 75.6% of total park area could be freely used by park visitors. As for an improvement plan, the grass area where access is limited may be converted into a gras area that can be freely used to raise the park use area, which currently stands only at 75.6%, to 100%. The result of cross analysis through Chi-Square Test regarding lawn use as well as regarding (dis)agreement with reduction of lawn, based on the investigation of cognition, showed a significant agreement of park users with reduction of green areas. Therefore it is considered that lawn space must be reduced according the result of the analysis, to set up plans for facility space that would meet the desires of users. The analysis of user behaviors revealed that many of them used square spaces and walks; therefore it is considered that re-structuring of space is necessary according to local characteristics. This study also made some policy suggestion. urban parks must be a base of city green areas to counter climate changes. When developing a park creation plan, a user demand survey must be conducted in advance. In addition. grass construction methods should be improved to tolerate foot pressure.

국내 도시공원 유형변경에 따른 시설변화 연구 - 서울시 공원을 중심으로 - (A Study on Facility Changes according to Changes in the Urban Park Type in Korea - Focus on Parks in Seoul -)

  • 도시공원은 도시 내 생태적 기능과 함께 일상생활의 여가공간 역할을 담당한다. 도시공원은 공원을 방문하는 이용자의 수요를 반영해야 함에도 불구하고, 현재 대다수의 도시공원이 환경특성을 반영하지 못하고 일률적으로 조성되어 유지되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 2005년 공원법 개정 후, 세분유형 변경이 완료된 공원을 중심으로 변화를 살펴보았다. 법적공원유형이 변경된 공원은 모두 45개로 그중 어린이공원에서 소공원으로 유형변경이 21개소로 가장 많았으며, 주제 공원인 문화공원과 역사공원으로 공원의 특성을 살리고자 하는 경우도 19개소에 달했다. 변경 유형별로 문화공원과 역사공원은 건물 신축 등 시설율이 증가한 반면, 소공원은 시설면적이 감소하고 녹지면적이 증가하였다. 공원시설면적 증감을 분석한 결과, 공원 정비를 통한 이용활성화를 추구하는 긍정적인 효과와 동시에 녹지면적이 감소하는 부정적인 면을 확인할 수 있었다. 도시에서 공원이 가지는 순기능 중 하나인 생태환경 유지를 위해서는 공원 주변여건에 대한 반영과 함께 새로운 시설기준 마련이 필요하다. 추후 공원 유형별 시설기준에 대한 심도 있는 논의를 통해 도시공원 유형별 조성 가이드라인 마련을 위한 심층적인 연구가 진행되기를 기대한다.

도시시설물관리를 위한 u-서비스 모델 (U-Service Model for Urban Facility Management)

  • 최근 들어, 유비쿼터스 기술을 활용한 u-도시에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 u-도시 관심 분야 중, 유비쿼터스 기술 기반의 도시시설물 관리 u-서비스 모델을 제시한다. 이를 위해 서비스 제공을 위한 비즈니스 모델을 정의하고, 시설물 관리 u-서비스 모델을 정의한다. 아울러, u-서비스 모델 구체화하기 위한 구성 요소로써, 서비스 기능, 서비스 프로세스, 서비스 참여자 간의 관계에 대해 제시한다. 먼저 원격모니터링, 원격제어 및 조회, 상황정보제공, 현장지원, 시설물 이력관리의 다섯 가지 서비스 기능에 대해 제시한다. 또한 다양한 서비스 제공을 위한 프로세스를 제시하고, 마지막으로 서비스 참여자간의 수요, 공급 관계에 대해서도 제시한다.

하수저류시설 운영 전략 연구 (Operation Strategy for a Multi-functional Storage Facility)

  • The frequent occurrence of sewer flooding and the intermittent discharge of non-point pollutions into the receiving water body are emerging issues recently due to the climate change and urbanization. These problems might be solved by introducing a multifunctional storage facility. Unlike a single-purpose storage facility, a multi-purpose storage facility should be operated at an instant to meet for flood prevention, reduction of non-point pollution and/or rainwater reuse. Considering various operational combinations it is suggested that prevention of sewer flooding coupled with reduction of non-point pollution is the most effective operational strategy for a multi-functional storage facility.
