A 3D game plays in fast screen conversion and the objects a partner with camera visual field. Shall recognize a threat of the opponent objects that there is not to a visual field of a player in on-line games. In this paper, we proposed a method to efficiently search for the object in 3D game as used modified frustum culling. For the objects which a player cannot perceive, we accord the player and camera position and used a distance of the player and objects for count of the threatening objects. The method that proposed will play an important role in development of a 3D FPS games.

Background: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects on balance and Jump performance in soccer player with functional ankle instability of Movement with mobilization (MWM) and taping. Methods: In 30 male college soccer player with functional ankle instability subjects of this study randomization, fibular reposition taping (FRT) group (n=10), kinesio taping (KT) group (n=10), control group (n=10) that included in the MWM and taping was classified group. Before and after intervention, measured in surface area ellipse and countermovement jump with arm swing. Results: Showed a significant balance and jump performance from the FRT group and KT group compared to the control group. Showed a significant improvement in balance from the FRT group compared to the KT group. Conclusions: MMW and taping showed the increased balance and Jump performance in soccer player with functional ankle instability.
In football simulation games, it is very important for the interest of the game to make the stats of the football players close to reality. As the management concept is introduced to the sports simulation game, when the user plays the game for a long time, the existing player character retires. Therefore, the game creates the environment of the game by creating a new player in the game. In this study, we propose a method to create a new player character by using genetic algorithm to have the optimal ability similar to existing players. We compare and evaluate the player character with the existing random generation method, the correction random method and the proposed algorithm, and verify the validity of the proposed method.
To apply the player's experiences to the design process of the game levels set by the developer, gameplay behavior analysis is needed. The player's behavior which is different by how much he got experiences from the play has generally been studied by one computational approach based on numerical data and the other HCI(human-computer interaction) approach through heuristic analysis. For the analysis of the player's behavior with the level design patterns in FPS(first-person shooter) games, in this paper those methods are used to code 12 main types of action, which in turn is simply categorized into 5 kinds of behavior pattern. Along with it, an optimized visualization is proposed to intuitively compare the flow of behavior pattern with the time of playing game.
The purpose of this study is to show typology of Non Player Character(NPCs) and to look out what narrative functions of NPCs are served in Massively Multi-player Online Role-Playing Game(MMORPG). As the relationship with player characters and the propensity of actions, NPCs are classified 4types; passive helper, active helper, passive antagonist, active antagonist. Each type performs different functions of game narrative. Especially passive helper functions as a essential glue of movement in game world and makes the chain of quest narratives. Active antagonist functions as the cause of space perspective and creates dramatic effect of game narrative. Those functions make spacial, dimensional and extensible game narrative.

Recently AI(Artificial Intelligence) is one of the issues in the on-line game, a research that a game character seems to be realistic and is progressing using AI technique. Especially NPC is an important part of the AI researches of on-line game, and it is concerned by a game player and an architect. We proposed an intelligent agent framework to implement the NPC technique after studying the NPC technique using context awareness that reacts to the PC(Player Character) actively. Also, it can be developed gradually, and apply to various application because it has the capability to of adding an agent or deleting an agent easily.
In the middle and late period of MMORPG, as more and more time and energies are repeatedly consumed due to Grinding, it is easy for the players to feel bored and quit the game. This paper mainly studies the differences in preferences of four types of players for MMORPG grinding types. Apart from that, SPSS software is used to make descriptive analysis, credibility analysis, and one-way analysis of variance on the 200 survey sample data. Based on the content of the experimental results, this study proposes an optimized design plan for MMORPG grinding from the perspective of player tendency.
This paper analyzed the posthuman features of the open-world adventure game. These games represent the player character as Posthuman Subject through the restrictions of information and body. The player explores all of the spaces to perform the quests due to nonlinearity of open-world. The interactions are restricted conflicts and it reveals through gameplay. The experiences as Posthuman Subject allow the player to embody the Hybrid Subjectivity and think about coexistence of human and inhuman.

Studies on aesthetic experience in games mostly focus on engineering approach centered on structural determination of specific target within the game as well as humanistic·social approach in forms of artistic conversation on game play experience. This paper have established a theoretic guideline regarding the progress of aesthetic experience which allows analysis from the perspective of player experience acquired during game play. Based on such guideline, the study classifies cognitive data (Eye-Tracking, Playing Action, Facial Expression) on aesthetic experience and suggests the methods to measure such data. By deducing errors and points to be considered related to measuring methods through pilot tests, this study will contribute to the execution of empirical study focused on player perspective.
