초등학생들의 생활과 연계된 실과교과의 실천성 연구 (A Study on the "Praxis" which are Perceived by Elementary Students on Practical Arts Education)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the practical problems that 6th grade students are facing, how they perceive Practical Arts education and the praxis of Practical Arts education relating to the problems, and whether the content of Practical Arts curriculum is useful for solving practical problems of 6th grade students. The data used in this study are collected from questionnaires and include in-depth interviews in order to make up for the quantitative research. The major findings of this study were summarized as follows. 1. Elementary school students regarded Practical Arts education as the subject matter through which they learn skills of life. They thought it is useful to their present and future life and to nurture environment-friendly attitude. Furthermore, elementary school students perceive that the meaning of practice in Practical Arts education lies not in praxis as practical action, but in just practice as technical action. 2. According to the survey based on their perception and their practical problems, 66.9% of students answered the learning content of Practical Arts education is not useful in solving their problems. And only 33.4% of students answered the learning content of Practical Arts education is useful in solving their problems. Negative view was predominant among elementary school students. And the Practical Arts curriculum does not reflect much of the practical problems that 6th grade students face. Through these results, Practical Arts education turns out to be hardly related with students' life, though it is the subject matter of students' real life.

The Effect of Social Capital on Social Entrepreneurial Intention among Vietnamese Students

  • This study develops the model to estimate the links between social capital, social entrepreneurial self-efficacy, perceived desirability and social entrepreneurial intention. Besides exploring the direct impacts of social capital, social entrepreneurial self-efficacy, and perceived desirability on social entrepreneurial intention, this study also focus on discovering the mediating roles of perceived desirability and social entrepreneurial self-efficacy on this relationship. Throughout adopting measures from some previous studies, the authors design the questionnaires and distribute to students in Vietnam. The study presents some demographic information of 289 students, who are studying at university and colleges in Vietnam. Then, the validity and reliability of scales are assessed using the value of Cronbach's alpha, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). In addition, by utilizing the structural modeling structure (SEM), the authors show that social capital plays the important role in shaping social entrepreneurial self-efficacy, perceived desirability, and social entrepreneurial intention. Interestingly, besides the direct effects on social entrepreneurial intention, perceived desirability and social entrepreneurial self-efficacy also mediate the correlation between social capital and social entrepreneurial intention. Also, with the interesting findings of the study, the authors propose several recommendations for policy-makers, educators and academics to promote the social entrepreneurship and innovation among Vietnamese students.

가정교육과 교사교육의 TQM(Total Quality Management: 총체적 질 관리) 구성요소에 대한 재학생들의 평가 (Evaluation of TQM(Total Quality Management) of Home Economics Education Department in the University by Students)

  • 본 연구는 사범대 가정교육과 교사교육을 TQM의 구성요소를 중심으로 평가하여 TQM을 위한 기초 자료를 제시하여 가정교육학의 미래발전에 기여하는 데 목적을 두었다. 설문조사 대상은 사범대학 가정교육과 3학년 학생 전체를 대상으로 하였는데, 사범대학 가정교육과를 방문(3개교)하거나 우편발송(10개교)하여 총 342부 가운데 302부(88.3%)를 회수하고 285부(83.3%)를 분석 자료로 이용하였다. 이렇게 하여 나온 본 연구의 결과 및 결론을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 본 연구는 사범대 가정교육과 교사교육을 TQM의 구성요소를 중심으로 평가하여 TQM을 위한 기초 자료를 제시하여 가정교육학의 미래발전에 기여하는 데 목적을 두었다. 설문조사 대상은 사범대학 가정교육과 3학년 학생 전체를 대상으로 하였는데, 사범대학 가정교육과를 방문(3개교)하거나 우편발송(10개교)하여 총 342부 가운데 302부(88.3%)를 회수하고 285부(83.3%)를 분석 자료로 이용하였다. 이렇게 하여 나온 본 연구의 결과 및 결론을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 가정과교사교육을 통하여 습득하게 된 가정과교사의 전문적 자질 성취도를 보면, 가정교육에 대한 열정, 가정과교사로서의 긍지와 사명감 등이 높게 나타났으며 가정교과에 대한 미래비전 제시, 가정교과 관련 특별활동 지도능력, 컴퓨터 활용 능력에 대한 성취도는 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 재학 만족도의 경우 평균 3.15로 나타났는데 본인의사로 입학한 경우와 재입학을 희망하는 경우, 성적이나 기타 사유로 입학한 경우와 재입학을 희망하지 않는 경우 보다 높았다. 가정과교사교육자의 리더쉽에 대해서는 거래적 리더쉽보다 변혁적 리더쉽을 취한다고 인식하였다. 재학만족도가 높고 재입학을 희망하는 재학생일수록 가정과교사교육자에 대한 리더쉽 인식 수준이 높았다. 가정교육과 재학생의 임파워먼트 수준은 평균 3.52로 중간보다 약간 높게 나타났다. 재학생의 임파워먼트 수준은 가정교육 전공교수가 재직하고 있는 대학의 재학생이 그렇지 않은 재학생보다 높았다. 가정과교사 교육과정에 대한 교육개혁을 위한 일반적인 요구를 사정한 결과, 가정과교사 교육과정은 중등현장의 실무능력 함양을 위한 것으로 인식하고 있었고, 가장 개혁이 필요한 분야로 교수방법의 혁신을 들고 있었다. 교수법 가운데에서는 실험 실습수업을 가장 선호하는 것으로 나타났으며, 학점이수에 있어서는 교과내용학을 우선 충실 이수를 한 뒤 부족한 교과교육학은 현장에서 연수과정을 개설하여 보완하도록 요구하고 있었다. 대학의 가정과교사 교육과정 개발 주체는 현장의 가정과교사와 재학생이 되어야 한다고 요구하고 있다. 이상과 같은 연구를 바탕으로 추후 가정과교육에 TQM을 어떻게 도입하여 평가할 것인지에 대한 연구와 공급자 중심에 서의 평가 연구, 내러티브 연구를 통한 질적연구의 활성화를 제언한다.

학교폭력 예방을 위한 가정과 AI 기반 문제중심학습 수업 사례연구 (A Case Study of the Use of Artificial Intelligence in a Problem-Based Learning Program for the Prevention of School Violence)

  • The aim of this study was to develop, implement, and evaluate the use of Artificial Intelligence in the prevention of violence among middle-school students. The sample for this study consisted of 20 first-year middle-school students who participated in theme selection activities in a free semester program as part of their home economics studies. The data for the study consisted of nine class observation logs, four group activity outputs, 30 class results, an online survey, and in-depth interviews with three students. A program called "R.U.OK" was developed by setting problematic situation for school violence prevention linked to the contents of the Home Economics Education(HEE) curriculum. After the program was implemented, the survey on the students' class satisfaction content elements, with AI-based learning activities and PBL and interest, displayed high points, with an average of 4.0 or higher. Our qualitative analysis produced four significant results. First, students' concerns about school violence had increased and they showed a change in attitude, having more empathy with friends and more interest in their surroundings. Second, digital and AI literacy had improved, and students' interest in digital media learning had increased. Third, there had been an improvement in problem-solving ability in terms of being able to think more critically and independently. Fourth, the results also demonstrated that there had been a positive effect on self-direction and an improved capacity for teamwork. This study was significant in demonstrating the effectiveness of a program for the prevention of school violence based on the use of digital technology in the educational environment.

경기 일부지역 중학생과 학부모의 한국전통음식에 대한 인식 (Perceptions of Korean Traditional Foods by Junior High School Students and Their Parents in Gyeonggi Province of Korea)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate junior high school students' and their parents' interests, preferences, and positive perceptions regarding Korean traditional food. This study may be used to provide the basic information for establishing an educational program about Korean traditional food. The self-administered questionnaires for students and their parents were used to examine the general characteristics of participants, perceptions of Korean traditional food, and experiences with traditional food at home. The data was analyzed by t-test and Chi-square test. The results are as follows. First, most students had a lower interest, preference, and positive perception of Korean traditional food than their parents. Second, the perception of traditional food among students was influenced by their experience with traditional food at home and the perceptions of their parents. Therefore, in order to keep and develop the Korean traditional food culture, an educational program for students as well as their parents to teach the advantages and the values of Korean traditional food, is needed. An educational program would help students have a more positive perception of Korean traditional food. In addition, this may encourage parents to serve more traditional foods at home and would increase the interest in eating and cooking Korean food. Thus, establishing an educational program could be a successful method for maintaining the Korean traditional food heritage for future generations.

영양권장량과 식사구성안에 대한교과서 내용 분석 및 학생의 이해도 연구 (A Study of Textbook Contents Analysis and Students' Understanding on the Korean Recommended Dietary Allowance and Food Guide in Middle School Home Economics Education)

  • 본 연구는 양적, 질적으로 균형있는 식생활을 하기 위한 기본적인 지식이 된다고 여겨지는 영양권장량과 식사구성안에 대하여 중학교 1학년 기술${\cdot}$ 가정 교과서 10종의 내용을 분석하였고 중학교 1학년 학생의 영양권장량과 식사 구성안에 대한 이해도를 살펴보았다. 영양권장량과 식사구성안에 대한 교과서 설명이 대부분 충분하지 못한 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 영양권장량과 영양필요량의 차이에 대하여 오해를 일으킬 만한 표현들이 많았다. 그리고 식사구성안에 대한 정의 규정이 대체로 미흡하였으며, 식품구성탑과 1인 1회 분량에 대하여 표현이 정확하지 못하였거나 또는 실제 식품 예에서 오류가 있었던 교과서도 확인되었다. 학생 가운데 많은 수가 영양권장량이 대다수 국민의 영양 필요량을 충족시키는 여유있는 양임을 이해하지 못하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 식사구성안에 있어 식품구성탑은 다른 개념에 비해 비교적 이해도가 높았으나, 1인 1회 분량은 정확히 이해하지 못하는 경향을 보였다. 결과적으로 영양권장량과 식사구성안의 정의와 설명을 포함하는 기술${\cdot}$가정 교과서의 내용 수정 및 보완이 필요하며. 또한 학생의 이해도를 확인할 수 있는 조사도구 개발의 후속 연구가 필요하다고 생각한다.

고등학생의 가정과 교과에서 건강가정에 관한 교육 요구도 (The Need for Healthy Families Education in Home Economics Subject of High School Students)

  • 본 연구에서는 고등학생이 가정과 교과에서 건강가정에 관한 교육으로 어떠한 내용을 요구하는지 알아보았다. 이를 통하여 가정과 교과에서 건강가정에 관한 교육의 새로운 교육 방향을 모색하고, 그에 합당한 교육내용을 구성 하는데 에 필요한 기초 자료를 제공 할 수 있을 것이다. 연구대상은 서울 및 경기도 소재 고등학교 2학년생 550명으로 하였으며, 설문조사를 실시하였다. 고등학생의 가정과 교과에서 건강가정에 관한 교육 요구도를 알아본 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성별에 따른 고등학생들의 가정과 교과에서 건강가정에 관한 교육 요구도는 남학생이 3.63, 여학생이 3.66으로 나타났으며, 남학생은 '결혼과 부모됨', '가족간의 대화방법' '영양관리', '가정경제', '의복 주거관리', '가정문화' 영역의 순으로 여학생은 '결혼과 부모됨', '가족간의 대화방법', '영양관리', '가정문화', '의복 주거관리' 영역의 순으로 요구도가 높게 났다. 전체적인 요구도는 3.64로 중간 이상의 요구도를 보였으며 '결혼과 부모됨', '가족간의 대화방법', '영양관리', '가정경제', '의복 주거관리', '가정문화' 영역의 순으로 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 가족배경 변인에 따른 고둥학생의 가정과 교과에서 건강가정에 관한 교육 요구도는 학교계열, 가족형태, 부모의 학력, 부모의 직업, 가계월소득에 따라 유의미한 차이가 나타났다.

고등학생의 지속가능한 식생활 역량 향상을 위한 가정과 식생활교육 프로그램의 개발 및 평가 (Development and Evaluation of Home Economics Dietary Education Programs for Improving the Sustainable Dietary Competencies of High School Students)

  • This study aimed to develop, and evaluate the effectiveness of, a home economics dietary education program that could be used to improve high school students' sustainable dietary competencies. To achieve this goal, learning objectives and elements were selected for the education program to improve the students' sustainable dietary competency. The content validity of this program was verified with numerous experts. After implementing the new educational program, its effect on high school students' sustainable dietary competencies was assessed through pre- and post-tests. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, through the textbook analysis, the necessity of developing an educational program that can cultivate the three areas that constitute a sustainable diet (environment, health, and consideration) was confirmed. Second, a total of nine teaching and learning plans for sustainable dietary education programs were developed. From there, content validity verification was conducted by experts, indicating that the developed educational program was highly applicable in the field. Third, after the implementation, a survey was conducted based on a questionnaire consisting of 20 items related to three areas of sustainable diet, while the pre- and post-test assessment indicated statistically significant differences in all three areas: environment (pre: 3.40, post: 4.46, p<.001), health (pre: 3.15, post: 4.32, p<.001), and consideration (pre: 3.46, post: 4.48, p<.001). It is expected that the educational program developed in this study will be used as a basis for dietary education that fosters food citizenship in high school home economics courses.

가정과교사의 교직 의식과 교직 활동 수행 방식 (Home Economics teacher's conscious teaching and modes of teaching performance)

  • This study is used to understand the characteristics of home economics teachers that could to help develop personal development in home economics teacher and home economics education. The questionnaire survey was conducted on 150 home economics teachers who belong to either the home economics teachers' study association or Korean home economics education essociation. The survey was processed with frequency analysis, standard deviations, factor analysis, independent sample t-test, and reliability analysis using SPSS 12.0 depending on the contents of the research. The study results are as follows. First, for home economics teachers' conscious teaching, they build their own identities as experts, and have a vocation and sense of duty for their job. The culture of research and investigation community to study education and to maintain collaborative relationships with teachers of home economics teachers' associations has evolved. Second, home economics teachers have the ability to analyze and manage students' demands in order to perform teaching activities, and understand individual student characteristics. They understand new study trends and curriculum, develop sources for class, use appropriate teaching and learning theories, and create students' reflective activities. In addition, they grow their learning ability as specialist and study in self-oriented ways.
