  • Security environment we face in the Korean Peninsula is unexpectable. Tensions between Seoul and Pyeongyang and its threats are continuously evolving. Kim Jung Un will keep on conducting provocations and DPRK's isolation will result uncertainty to their objective and intention. KPA is centered on ground forces with conventional weapons but they possess modernized missiles and nuclear capabilities. What's more concerning is that North Korea continuously pursue and develop nuclear weapons and missile capabilities. Pursuing defense reform is inevitable for the ROK to deal adequately against the security threats posed by the North and to prepare for the environment of future warfare. If we are satisfied with the current capabilities then our military capabilities and security status will retrogress. We have to reorganize our units to make a small but FMC, smart military organization. Organization analysis is an urgent issue for reorganizing units. However, it isn't an easy task to reform an organization. There are vague parts for analysis and strong resistance from the people within the organization. Therefore should not focus on the reduction of people and the organization. Organization reform should be done with the acknowledgement of most of the personnel and should focus on the task and its method. These should be reflected to the organization analysis.

A study on the Influence of Family-Friendly Program on Organizational Life and Job Commitment and Performance -Focusing on police officer organization-

  • Investigations into family-friendly company culture have been carried out for various companies and conglomerates. But there has never been such investigation for police organization, so this investigation is intended to see the effect on organizational commitment and job performance of the organization culture that makes use of family-friendly program for the police organization. To this end, how the internal factors of family-friendly organization culture affects organization commitment and job performance is empirically analyzed with structural equation modeling. And it is found that family-friendly program has significant effect on organizational life and welfare, and the welfare, in return, is found to have significant effect on job performance.

브레즐튼 신생아 행동평가법을 이용한 일지역 신생아들의 행동 특성에 관한 연구 (Behavioral Characteristics of Local Korean Neonates by Brazelton′s NBAS)

  • This study assessed behavioral characteristics of 73 normal neonates in Daegu area using the NBAS. Being one of few studies on this topic, the study is to document and to accumulate data on the neonatal behaviors of Korean babies. Overall scores were at moderate levels in 6 behavioral clusters including Habituation, Social Interactive, Motor System, State Organization, and State Regulation. Autonomic Stability showed relative stableness. Scores of Orientation were higher in neonates of working mothers and rural mothers. Neonates of mothers with no abortion history have higher scores in Motor System and State Organization. Score of State Organization was higher in neonates of mothers with no habitual use of amenity during their pregnancy. Scores of Habituation and State Organization, as well as scores of Motor System with State Organization, State Regulation and Autonomic Stability were positively correlated. Scores of Habituation and State Organization indicate that babies are agreeable and even tameable that is advantageous for attachment to caregiver.

『상한변류(傷寒辨類)』의 편제(編制)와 내용(內容)에 대한 연구 - 『상한명리론(傷寒明理論)』, 『의학입문(醫學入門)·상한(傷寒)』과 비교(比較) - (The Organization and Contents of 『Sanghanbyeollyu(傷寒辨類)』)

  • Objectives : I investigated the organization and contents of "Sanghanbyeollyu(傷寒辨類)" in order to grasp its bibliographical points. Methods : I compared "Sanghanbyeollyu(傷寒辨類)" with "Sanghanmyeongniron(傷寒明理論)", "Uihagimmun(醫學入門) Sanghan(傷寒)" in side of their organization and contents. Results : The first volume in "Sanghanbyeollyu" is composed of various theories, the second volume in it is composed of many symptoms. The second volume include 49 symptoms in "Sanghanmyeongniron" excepting 1 symptom, its organization is similar to the organization in "Uihagimmun Sanghan". Besides the frequency of prescription quoted in both "Sanghanbyeollyu" and "Uihagimmun Sanghan" is 251, the frequency of prescription quoted only in "Sanghanbyeollyu" is 617, the frequency of prescription quoted only in "Uihagimmun Sanghan" is 622. Thus, "Sanghanbyeollyu" is not a duplicate of "Uihagimmun Sanghan" because of the frequency of prescription quoted. Conclusions : I have found out that "Sanghanbyeollyu" does not only adopt the merits from "Sanghanmyeongniron", but also fills its organization and contents with "Uihagimmun Sanghan".

  • This paper proposes a selection procedure of geospatial data for location guidance map generation system. The selection procedure requires some targets appointed by users as input data and outputs generation. The procedure is embedded in a prototype of object-oriented GIS. We show sample maps generated by the system.

K공사의 IT 조직 재설계 사례 (K Public Corporation's IT Organization Redesign Case)

  • IT 조직은 비즈니스 및 기술의 변화에 대응하기 위해 끊임없이 변화를 요구받고 있으나, 이러한 변화 수용을 위한 IT 조직 재설계에 관한 현실적인 방법론이나 가이드라인은 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 최근 IT 조직을 근본적으로 재설계한 K공사 사례를 중심으로 하여 IT 조직의 재설계 방법 및 절차에 대해 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 사례 대상기업인 K공사에서는 IT 조직 재설계를 위해 직무분석을 통한 IT 조직의 To-Be 모형을 설계하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 직무 재설계를 실시하여, K공사의 IT 조직 및 인원을 산정하였다. 1) 직무분석에서는 핵심업무를 도출하여 96개의 표준 업무(Task)를 도출하였고 2) To-Be 조직 설계를 통해 IT 지원팀, IT 개발팀, IT 운영팀 등 3개 팀과 부경 및 제주발매팀 등 지역 2개팀으로 구분하였다. 3) 직무 재설계를 통해 기존의 직무체계를 재구성하였으며, IT 조직 인원을 FTE를 활용하여 산정한 후 내부 검토를 걸쳐 최종적으로 확정하였다. 이를 통해 IT공사는 운영중심의 IT 업무를 축소하고 대신 IT 기획업무를 강화하였으며, 타사 대비 낮은 수준의 IT 관리 프로세스를 개선하였고, IT 아웃소싱 관리체계 향상과 함께 IT 사용자의 만족도를 개선시켰다. 본 연구는 IT 조직을 어떠한 방식과 과정을 통해 재설계해야하는지에 대해 고민하는 많은 기업들에게 현실적인 시사점을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

대학의 ERP 도입 특성과 성과에 관한 연구 (Characteristics and Performance of ERP Adoption in University Organization)

  • Characteristics of the motivation and performance of Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) adoption in university organization are explored through case studies in this study. Generally, the modules for production, sales, and logistics management in a manufacturing company are substituted with new modules for student support, lecture operations, and research management in ERP for university organization. The motivation of ERP adoption is closely related to the purpose of improvement of business process operations and information system control rather than the environmental factors such as inter-organizational competition or increase of market uncertainty, differentially from enterprises cases. In addition, the financial performance such as cost reduction, labor substitution, and increase of productivity is relatively lower evaluated than the performance on organizational aspects or information system control.

대학도서관 조직의 외부 환경요인에 관한 고찰 (The Elements of the External Environment of University Library Organization.)

  • This study is on the external environment of University library organization, to establish the theoretical background of scientific organization. The library is heavily influenced by its environment and much of the library manager's time is spent trying to reduce these envitronmental influences. The library, basic facility of the university has two environments: external and internal. The external environment is consist of educational, political, economical, cultural, technological and physical environment in society, Internal environment is consist of the university and the library condition. Several subjects of external environment which effect the construction of library organization are selected the elements of this study.
