This paper shows that there are some extra-factors on the evaluation of lecture by students. The extra-factors are sex, day and nighttime, academic year, size of lecture, and grades. And this paper analysis the proportion of the student which put the same mark on all items(same marked proportion).
Purpose - This study investigated the effects of lectures in the English medium (EML) on understanding and learning outcomes. Sixty percent of EML lectures in Korea also use Korean for further support. Thus, this situation needs to clearly distinguish the specific impacts of the EML classes on learning outcomes. Here, we use the same English materials, including PowerPoint slides and video content, given in the Korean and English lectures. The difference between the lectures becomes only whether the lecture is delivered in Korean or English. Thus, we can clearly identify whether the language difference makes any difference in learning outcomes. Research design, data, and methodology - Our sample consisted of 91 students taking an international business course the spring of 2015. All course materials, including textbooks, PowerPoint slides, exams, video, and support content, were presented in English. Survey data and exam results were used. Students filled out their student identification number and name, so we could match the surveys against the exam results. Results - First, results show that whether the lecture was delivered in English or Korean was an important factor when students chose the class. Second, English proficiency related to international business and general English levels were higher in the English class than in the Korean class. However, the understanding of key concepts and reading abilities of international business newspapers were the same for students in both classes. Third, teaching materials and lectures were the most important material for the understanding of key concepts in the business major. Fourth, the exam results showed no difference in performance of the students in the English versus the Korean class. This shows that EML classes were not necessarily detrimental to the understanding of major concepts of the lecture. Thus, it is important that researchers carefully design empirical settings to study the effectiveness of EML. Conclusions - The English lecture can be as helpful for enhancing knowledge in the business major as the Korean lecture. For further research, various English lecture forms can be considered to distinguish the effects of the English lecture.
The purpose of this study is to examine perceptive change in attitude toward infancy and early childhood among university students' who were exposed to a human development lecture on infancy and early childhood. This study aims to investigate the significance of education in shaping attitudes related to child development and the importance of infancy and early childhood as developmental stages. This study also seeks to provide basic data for expanding and systematizing relevant educational programs. Fifteen university students who attended a lecture on human development were divided into four groups with three groups containing 4 members and one group containing 3 members. The following results were obtained: 1) Before attending the lecture on human development, students perceived infancy as a period dominated by feelings of helpless, indifference, and a general lack of knowledge or ability to interact with their environment; 2) Before attending the lecture on human development, students perceived early childhood as an initial period of transition that can potentially influence one's future; 3) After attending the lecture, students were better able to rationalize the developmental importance of infancy and early childhood. 4) After attending the lecture, students displayed broader understanding of the importance of early childhood on human development. This study also discusses the necessity for continuous and systematic provision of programs to help adults develop a positive perception of infancy and early childhood as a developmental process related to parenting skills.

"e-Leaning" system is classified by lecture time into two types, that is, "synchronous type" spent the same lecture time between the lecturer and students, and "asynchronous type" spent the different lecture time. The size of image database is huge, and there are some problem on the management of the lecture image database in "asynchronous type" e-Learning system. The one of them is that the time tag for the database management must be added manually at present, and the cost of the addition of the time tag causes a serious problem. To resolve the problem, we will use the character recognition for the characters written by the lecturer on whiteboard, and will add the recognized character as a keyword to the tag of the image database. If the database would have the keyword, we could retrieve the database by the keyword efficiently, and the student could select the interested lecture scene only in the full lecture database.
This study analyzes the public lecture conducted by a university in Seoul and examined how a public lecture on the emergence of a new media environment could influence the actual field of engineering education. The current public lecture is changing away from past patterns which have been conducted on a daily, irregular and offline basis. Online lectures such as Mooc programs, as well as broadcast programs in the Internet media environment, are becoming increasingly popular with mainstream education. This study focuses on exploring how public lecture experiences of engineering professors have affected the improvement of learner centered education and their communication skills. It also examines how public lecture in the field can affect to enhance public understanding of engineering. The advent of a new media environment is likely to inject new vitality into a college lecture that seems to fall behind in the past. It is highly likely that the reliance on the teaching capabilities of professors become higher according to the emphasis on active learning environment. The genre of public lecture is expected to greatly helpful to expand future engineering education methodologies.

Blended learning is a teaching method utilizing all the advantages in 'on and off-line' learning circumstances in order to enhance the learning effect and efficiency, more than the simple use of online factors in the classroom education. In this paper, we present the realization and simulation of algorithm for the realtime evaluation of low-grade and high-grade subjects in order to implement smart e-learning system, considering a lecture intelligibility. In order to grasp the levels of student's intelligibility, we simulated a function that automatically summarizes the study contents of class given by a lecturer. Especially, in administrator mode of smart e-learning system, we suggested and simulated a system in order to help the lecturer to easily manage the student's grades, and we have provided software to tell the student's intelligibility of lecture, analyzed the rate of incorrect answers, automatic judgment of lecture intelligibility and judge the weakest subject.

Minute papers are brief papers written at the end of a lecture in response to one or two questions posed by the instructor. The answers are discussed briefly at the beginning of the next lecture. We used minute papers to follow students' understanding and response to lecture demonstrations in an introductory general chemistry course. An analysis of these minute papers suggest that the following characteristics are important, when using demonstrations as teaching aids. 1) The purpose of a demonstration should be stated as explicitly as possible. 2) Instructors should be explicit about what is happening and what students should be looking for. 3) Demonstrations should be kept as simple as possible, perhaps illustrating one concept. Finally, we note that students believe that the visual component of demonstrations enhances their comprehension of chemistry concepts.
Objective : This paper was written to develop clinically useful education system of 'Yang-Seng Gi-Gong' based on the principles of Korean medicine by analyzing the lecture evaluation through the questionnaire Methods : We surveyed 55 students who took 'Yang-Seng Gi-Gong' lectures at Wonkwang University School of Korean Medicine in 2016. Results : 1. The degree of reflection of the learning goal was 7.0 ± 2.1 and the overall interest was high in the regression analysis of the learning goal reflectivity. The satisfaction of the practical lecture was higher than the theoretical lecture. 2. In the evaluation of difficulty level, it was evaluated that the practical training was effective and the practice of standing position was the most difficult. 3. Due to the nature of the lectures, the difference between men and women was found in several items but it was not effective. 4. Generally, we appropriately assessed the preparation and progress of the class and practice. 67% of the respondents evaluated the current class as appropriate. 5. In the survey on participation in class, there was a high degree of participation in the practical lecture and a high correlation between overall participation and participation in the practical lecture. Conclusions: It is necessary to look for ways to concentrate with interest in the lecture, focusing on the practice, and to encourage the participation of women in the practice.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception and needs on development of lecture to promote creative personality of pre-service teachers. The subjects were 161 students in 4th grade in early childhood education department. The questionnaire was composed of 3 items of 'recognition of creativity personality lecture' and 7 items of 'demand of development for creativity personality lecture'. The data was analyzed frequency and percentage by descriptive statistics. In the results, first, most of pre-service teachers recognized the importance on development of creativity personality lecture, and support of 'development and application of creativity personality lecture'. They recognized that creativity personality lecture was effective. Second, more than half of them responded that they would take creativity personality lecture, and this lecture was most appropriate 2 courses and 3 hours 10 weeks per semester. They demanded a lot of propensity element among creativity education elements, convergence classes in various fields, teaching medium for 'movie and music', and 'portfolio evaluation'.
A general web-based remote lecture system uses video data and audio data to provide synchronize between teacher and students. This system requires high bandwidth, high speed networking, television, compression and computing technologies between server and client for remote lecture over Internet. As a result, this system can decrease an efficiency for lecturing over current Internet. So, this paper proposes a new mechanism calling as ‘Synchronization of WWW browsers between server and client’to cope with above problems and finally pursues low cost needed for real-time remote lecture over Internet. The mechanism means that every browser of teacher and students displays the same page and the action of teacher is transferred to the browser of student. And, this can be implemented by Windows hooking APIs, Memory Mapping, and DLL (Dynamic Link Library) programming technology. This paper points to the design and implementation of LAS (Lecture Assistant Server) and LAC (Lecture Assistant Client) to perform the synchronization between server and client.
