  • Facing the current difficulties of fisheries industry nationally and internationally, economic cooperations between South and North Korea are needed urgently. Applying the process of economic integration to fisheries sector of separated nation, cooperation processes are divided as follows; (1) indirect and direct fisheries trade, (2) reciprocal use of fishing grounds, (3) joint venture in fisheries sector, (4) free movement of production factors and common fisheries policy. Here, fisheries trade falls under economic interchange stage. Reciprocal use of fishing ground and fisheries joint venture come in economic cooperation stage. Finally. free factor movement and common fisheries policy are related with economic integration stage. This paper investigates the schemes for fisheries cooperation between South and North Korea in preparation for a unified Korea, focusing on fisheries trade. The paper is composed of 5 chapters. Chapter 2 discusses structure and characteristics of North Korea trade, and trade situation between South and North Korea. • Researchers have started to conduct comparative studies of mathematics education in South and North Korea. Most of these studies have a tendency to compare with the curriculum of South and North Korea in the macroscopic standpoint. But microscopic comparative studies on each topic of school mathematics have not been attempted yet. Microscopic studies as well as macroscopic studies are required to prepare for unification the curriculum of South and North Korea. This paper attempts to compare the contents related pythagorean theorem which is dealt with in secondary school mathematics textbook of South and North Korea. Through this study, meaningful differences between textbooks are founded and some implications are obtained. Specially, 'cutting off and rearranging' method needs to be taken into consideration for active learning. Also the construction of the figure using the pythagorean theorem needs to be dealt with in order to develop the logical thinking.

  • The mutual interchange and cooperation giving first consideration to the communication technology and industry makes it possible to advance the day of unification of North and South Korea. For the sake of this, it is necessary to build communication network connecting all parts of Korea synthetically. This paper presents the plan to build the realizable communication system in North Korea. It bases on an objective view and prospect of domestic and foreign conditions and will help to construct the communication inflation. Therefore, consideration of pluralistic, economic and relay aspects must be proceeded and also the least expense of unification must be deliberated.

  • This study compared and analysed computer textbooks of the middle school from South Korea and North Korea for preparing the unification of the Korean Peninsula. According to the result of this study, the contents of South Korea textbook were equally selected from all scopes. By contrast, the contents of North Korea mostly consisted of the basic knowledge of computer, word-processing excluding the newest contents as Internet or Multimedia. But with the BASIC programming and algorithm for enhancement of the creative solving ability, prospective IT brains had been trained in North Korea. Moreover, due to differences of language policy and country that delivered IT technology, significant differences were found between South and North Korea in IT terminology. For preparing IT education after unification of the Korean Peninsula, both efforts of people who work in the fields of IT and school system in South and North Korea should be taken in order to relieve these differences.

As part of those efforts, both parties are working now to reconnect the railways between the North and the South that remained broken for the past 60 years. The South and North have had different railway systems for more than 50 years. To solve these complicated issues, appropriate investigation and analysis of North Korea railway system should be proceeded. It is necessary to study the railway system and integration methodology for effective operation of the two korea's railway systems. Therefore, in this study, effective unification scheme of South and North Korea railway system is proposed based on appropriate investigation about operation of inter-Korea railway system.

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the biology parts of the elementary school science textbooks of South and North Korea. For this purpose the contents and the names of organism introduced in the textbooks are compared and analyzed. As results of this study, there are a lot of differences in the content and names of organism in the textbooks. Life science in the elemenatry school science of North Korea ($46.9\%$ in 3th grade, $32.7\%$ in 4th grade) is treated more seriously than South Korea. The most part of North Korea textbooks are occupied with the names and values of various organisms, and the using method of them. The common contents of both textbooks are only $8.54\%$ of total contents of elementary school science of South Korea. Also only 39 names of organism are introduced in the both textbooks of South and North Korea. For the science curriculums establishment after unification, it should be the most important efforts to understand the cause of these differences, and to analyze those differences in contents and organisms introduced in the textbooks of South and North Korea.

  • This study examines how East German police was absorbed into the Unified Germany Police. The experience of Germany suggests a few implications and preview points when the two Koreas unify how North Korean police to absorb and utilize, which is the purpose of this study. According to a study, in a unified transition in North Korea, 110,000 police forces is needed in order to cope with an outbreak of rioting and public disorder in North Korea. It is never easy, in an imminent unification, to secure a large number of police forces in a short time. We cannot help making the best use of North Korean police. At this point, the German case would be nice for us to see the implications presented. Because West German police led the integration of East Germany in the People's Police, and reemployed them under certain conditions. As a result, by taking over the People's Police of North Korea without friction with the security of the high security demand required by the unification process in the future, it is necessary to achieve seamless integration of the North-South police.
