UN기탁도서관제도는 아직 우리에게 많이 생소하다. 국제연합(UN)은 다양한 문화, 민족, 정치, 경제적 환경을 가진 국가연합체로서 창설 초기부터 활동과 정책들을 문서화하고 있으며, 각 기구의 활동에서 생산된 각종 법률과 수천 종의 정기간행물과 단행본 등은 다양한 정보를 수록하고 있어서 문헌정보학 자료로서 중요한 의미를 가지고 있다. 이러한 자료는 UN회원국은 물론 전세계의 이용자층을 확보하고 있다. 또한 UN은 기탁 도서관제도를 통해서 이들의 요구에 부응하고 있으며 전세계 지정기탁도서관에 자료를 배포하고 있다. 우리 나라는 1990년대부터 다량의 UN자료가 국내 기탁도서관으로 입수되고 이다. 그러나 국내의 학계나 관련 단테는 UN자료에 대한 관심과 인지도가 부족한 것이 현실이다. 이 시점에서 본 연구는 이용자에게 UN자료에 대한 인지도를 높이고 이용을 촉진할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

많은 기업이 포화한 내수시장을 벗어나 해외시장으로의 진출을 도모하고 있다. 하지만 바이어 발굴 및 컨텍, 대금결제의 위험성, 최근 쟁점이 되는 자국 보호주의 정책의 강화 등 여러 이유로 해외 진출이 어려운 실정이다. 기업의 UN 공공 조달 참여를 장려하기 위하여 여러 노력이 진행되었다. 하지만, UN 공공 조달의 다양한 기회에도 불구하고 여전히 제한된 규모의 기업만이 참여하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기업의 UN 공공 조달 참여 의향에 영향을 미치는 요인을 기업요인과 제품요인으로 구분하여 설명하였다. 구체적으로 본 연구에서는 UN 공공 조달 참여에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 기업의 사회적 책임과 글로벌 지향성의 중요성을 확인하였다. 이와 함께, UN 공공 조달 참여와 지속가능성 사이의 긍정적인 관계에 관해 설명하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 요인들은 기업의 UN 공공 조달 참여 의향 수준을 높이며 최종적으로 지속가능성 등 기업의 경쟁력 향상에 중요한 역할을 할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

A ring R is called a UN ring if every non unit of it can be written as product of a unit and a nilpotent element. We obtain results about lifting of conjugate idempotents and unit regular elements modulo an ideal I of a UN ring R. Matrix rings over UN rings are discussed and it is obtained that for a commutative ring R, a matrix ring M_n(R) is UN if and only if R is UN. Lastly, UN group rings are investigated and we obtain the conditions on a group G and a field K for the group algebra KG to be UN. Then we extend the results obtained for KG to the group ring RG over a ring R (which may not necessarily be a field).

본 연구에서는 도서관은 UN 의제와 관련하여 사업이나 서비스를 하고 있는가를 포함하여 한국에서 수립된 제3차 도서관종합발전계획은 유엔의 SDGs의제와 어느 정도 관련성이 있는지를 조사분석하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, IFLA는 'UN 2030 의제'를 지원하는 즉, SDGs 17가지 목표를 성취하기 위한 도서관의 구체적인 실행전략을 제시함으로써 'UN 2030 의제'에 대한 지속적인 지지를 선언하였다. 둘째, 제3차 도서관종합발전계획의 핵심과제 14개가 모두 UN SDGs와 밀접하게 관련이 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 그 중에서 도서관 정보서비스 연계 확대를 포함한 이용자 정보접근의 편의성 확대와 생애주기 맞춤형 도서관서비스 강화가 가장 강도 높게 이 의제와 관련이 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구 결과는 지역사회와 정부 및 지자체, 그리고 국민이 도서관의 사회적 공헌과 가치를 높이 평가하는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

전자문서교환(EDI, Electronic Data Interchange)은 기업과 기업간에 컴퓨터와 컴퓨터의 통신을 통하여 필요한 거래문서를 구조화된 형식으로 교환하여 업무를 처리하는 방식을 말한다. 그동안 EDI 표준은 북미를 중심으로 한 ANSI X.12를 시작으로, 이에 대웅되는 유럽중심의 UN/CEFACT 표준이 제정되었다. UN/CEFACT로 표준을 통합하기로 합의한 양대 표준은 또 다른 XML환경을 접하게 되었다. ISO TC154에서는 UN/CEFACT전자문서의 XML변환에 관한 논의하게 되었으나 표준으로 권고되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이런 표준간 연동의 문제를 위하여 본 논문에서는 Speaking Tag방식과 UN/CEFACT Tag방식의 두가지를 제안하며 각각에 대해 변환규칙을 제안한다.

International Procurement refers to the actions governments and public institutions worldwide buy goods and services. With the WTO agreement on government procurement, most procurements are realized by bidding, which accelerates the opening-up of International procurement. Today International procurement has drawn the world's attention. The scale of international procurement market has been developing fast, reaching about US$ 5.55 trillion this year, In our country, however, due to the difficulty in initial market access to local procurement, the participation in taking international procurement is quite inactive, especially when compared with our exporting scale. The UN procurement market has procurement rules that countries which make contributions to UN and developing countries are favorably treated, and non-discriminatory and public competition in bidding and the optimum purchase are kept, and so on. It has its own head office and many subsidiary agencies. Actually the international procurement market offers an international marketplace for suppliers of all tangible goods and services. Therefore, UN and international procurement markets are great significant foreign markets to our country. But our country lagges behind in international procurement as it has not reached to our monetary contribution to UN. Therefore, it's essential to stimulate our company's participations in the UN procurement market. To fulfil this purpose, first of all, this study analyzes the current status of UN procurement market and Korea's current participation status. Then it investigates the procurement information system of UN and Korea's international procurement market information system as well as assistance system. Based on the above, by studying on the actual spots of the interview investigations on the registered firms in UNPD, this thesis discloses the problems with the Korea's national information system and assistance system on UN procurement market. Finally, this study raises the efficient plan for the integrated international procurement information system & assistance system.

Purpose: This review aims to provide an understanding of the UN recommendations regarding school disaster safety in the context of Korea's school safety system. Methods: Relevant literature and reports on the UN's school disaster safety were investigated. On basis of the analysis, this review closely examined how the UN school disaster safety had been developed and what it had proposed. Results: Major findings from this review regarding the UN school disaster safety were to: 1) utilize "all-hazards approach"; 2) focus on "community-based approach"; 3) explore "education for sustainable development"; and 4) emphasize "informal disaster safety education." Conclusion: This review on the UN school disaster safety may give a critical implication to Korea's school safety education.

In this paper, I propose syntactic, semantic and pragmatic restrictions on the distribution of the contrastive topic marker‘-(n)un’in Korean. A contrastive topic is associated with another focus. The association with focus is subject to syntactic islands. On the other hand, there is no syntactic restriction between a phrase attached with‘-(n)un’and a focused expression within the ‘-(n)un’phrase itself. In this area there is a semantic requirement that the alternatives generated by a focused expression be maintained up to the phrase attached with‘-(n)un’. Finally, when‘-(n)un’is used in an embedded clause, the whole sentence becomes natural when the contrastive topic introduced by‘-(n)un’and its alternative contrastive topic, which is presupposed by the contrastive topic marker, jointly constitute a more complex topic which is related to the whole context. And exclusiveness facilitates the formation of the whole complex context.

Following previous work carried out in Building Research Institute in Japan, finite element analyses of conceptual column designs are performed in this paper. The effectiveness of the numerical model is evaluated by experimental tests and parametric studies are conducted to determine influential factors in conceptual column designs. First, three different column designs are analysed: bonded, un-bonded, and un-bonded with additional reinforcing bars. The load-displacement curves and cracking patterns in concrete are obtained and compared with experimental ones. The comparisons indicate that the finite element model is able to reflect the experimental results closely. Both numerical and experimental results show that, the introduction of un-bonded zones in a column end can reduce cracking strains, accordingly reduce the stiffness and strength as well; the addition of extra reinforcement in the un-bonded zones can offset the losses of the stiffness and strength. To decide the proper length of the un-bonded zones and the sufficient amount of the additional reinforcing bars, parametric studies are carried out on their influences. It has been found that the stiffness of un-bonded designs slightly decreases with increasing the length of the un-bonded zones and increases with the size of the additional reinforcing bars.

The aim of this paper is to investigate the usage of Korean markers -(n)un and -i/ka in editorial texts focusing on information structure. Noun phrases ending with the markers -(n)un and -i/ka were annotated semi-automatically using a corpus obtained from an online newspaper. Two important factors to determine the choice of markers were examined with the annotated data: referential givenness/newness and position in a sentence. Referential givenness and newness were adopted as indicators of information structure, topic and focus respectively. In addition to quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis was conducted on the selected data. The results suggest that both the marker -(n)un and -i/ka could carry a topic and a focus reading. Sentence position also played a crucial role in determining the marker, and the marker -i/ka was used more frequently in a later position of a sentence than the marker -(n)un.
