The demand of using educational applications for 'smart' devices has recently increased. Accordingly, this study analyzed the satisfaction of educational applications and the factors which affect to purchase intention suggesting optimal development and use for the future. Based on searching for the theoretical background, the research model for the study was set: Appropriateness, interactivity, amusement and ubiquity were designated as independent variables, consumer satisfaction as parameter variable, and purchase intention as dependent variable. Through conducting structural equation modeling with the variables, the results showed that appropriateness, amusement and ubiquity had significant impacts on consumer satisfaction and purchase intention of educational applications. The results were expected to give suggestions as presenting guideline for educational application, improving mobile learning and vitalizing mobile contents.
Conventional studies on technology acceptance have focused on information technology for utilitarian value and hence based on 'theory of reasoned action'. Correspondingly, the studies depend on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use as rational decision making elements. However, in ubiquitous society, innovative technologies are applied to non-task area, as well as task-oriented area. Therefore, users are more influenced by affective factors than cognitive factors in causing their usage intention. In line with those discussions, we cannot make sure that the conventional technology acceptance model could fully explain the current u-service acceptance phenomenon. Hence, to overcome the limitations of the prior technology acceptance studies, we propose an amended TAM which includes one hedonic factor and two factors on ubiquitous computing technology : ubiquity and intelligence.
As fashion and distribution companies have increasingly turned to implementing marketing activities that use omni-channel strategies, it is imperative to explore consumer-oriented evaluations of omni-channel shopping for fashion products. Through contributing to the growing research flow of consumer behavior within omni-channel contexts, the current study explores consumer motivations for omni-channel fashion shopping and their impacts on the decision-making stages of fashion products. The authors first performed in-depth interviews with six Korean consumers and confirmed the four types of consumer motivation for omni-channel shopping, and how decision-making processes react to fashion companies' omni- channel marketing strategies. These findings were used to set survey items for the main study. Based on the results and findings of previous literature, an online survey was conducted with 300 participants who had actual experience with omni-channel shopping for fashion products. The statistic results from the survey revealed the following: First, the in-depth interviews allowed the authors to confirm four factors of omni-channel shopping motivation (ubiquity, efficiency, convenience, and impulsiveness). Second, the survey showed the authors that among the four factors of omni-channel shopping orientation, impulsiveness had the greatest effect on consumer behaviors at the preand on-purchase stages, while the ubiquity factor had the greatest effect at the post-purchase stage. As such, the study empirically tested the omni-channel-specific factors of shopping orientation and motivation. In addition, it showed the effect of omni-channel marketing on various stages of the decision- making process and the study's limitations and implications were discussed.
The results indicate that direction of online reviews have a significant effect on both information reliability and product attitude. In addition, consumers' shopping experience also shows a moderating effect between the direction of online reviews and the dependent variables. Furthermore, product type also shows a moderating effect on the information reliability, yet not on the product attitude. In clarify the relationship between the satisfaction and success of smart-learning smart learning and learner analyzes the main factors that affect the learning flow results, The smart learning variety of properties, personalization, complexity affects the learning flow variety, personalization, ubiquity affects the interaction, It was analyzed by a useful impact on the learner interactivity and immersive learning outcomes. This gives the implications of the smart learning attributes are important in order to maximize the learning experience for smart learning.

This paper proposes a P2P(Peer-to-Peer) streaming protocol which allows various QoS(Qualify of Service) requirements of video streaming to be supported for various personal IPTV applications in ubiquitous Internet environments. The proposed P2P streaming protocol takes fairly short startup delay, guarantees end-to-end delay bound and bandwidth requirements, and supports reliability level of video streaming for an IPTV application. The QoS-based P2P streaming protocol can properly use not only the advantages of scalability, availability, and ubiquity of P2P streaming but also complement its disadvantages of performance and reliability so that various types of personal IPTV applications can be properly implemented in the existing broadband Internet environments.
Under "Emergency Doctor Security Act of 2007", Japanese government focuses on relocating doctors in medically underserved areas and matching supply and demand of manpower in order to resolve the ubiquity of specific treatment departments. Particularly, there are two alternatives to secure the number of local physicians and avoid the regional shortage of doctors in the short term. Firstly, the government attracts existing physicians to the region. Secondly, the government increases the capability of regional clinical training system to prevent the influx of doctors to the larger cities. Also, it seeks solutions from various perspectives, such as cultivating manpower to work in vulnerable areas through the regional frame system and autonomous medical college. This study introduces the case of Japan as a benchmark and suggests that policymakers should focus on the recent conflict between the government and the medical consultation. More specifically, this study provides policy implications on the alternative measures for securing the manpower of regional doctors.

Cloud computing's unique attributes such as elasticity, rapid provisioning and releasing, resource pooling, multi-tenancy, broad-network accessibility, and ubiquity bring many benefits to cloud adopters(company and organization), but also entails specific security risks associated with the type of adopted cloud and deployment mode. To minimize those types of risk, this paper proposed cloud computing security framework refered to strategic alliance model. The cloud computing security framework has main triangles that are cloud threat, security controls, cloud stakeholders and compose of three sides that are purposefulness, accountability, transparent responsibility. Main triangles define purpose of risk minimization, appointment of stakeholders, security activity for them and three sides of framework are principles of security control in the cloud computing, provide direction of deduction for seven service packages.
With the explosive proliferation of smart devices that may be connected to the fast Internet, virtual desktop interfaces(VDI) are being implemented in enterprises allowing employees to work anywhere anytime in the same technological environment. As this kind of systems are intended to raise the work performance, a research model is constructed from the review of research literature on service quality and work design. The model consists of VDI system service quality (ubiquity, availability, compatibility, security and ease of use), system satisfaction, task performance and job satisfaction. As VDI is designed as a support system for cooperative work, the task interdependence adopted from the work design theory is postulated here as moderating the effect of user satisfaction on task performance and job satisfaction. 147 data points were collected by a survey of VDI users in a global firm and subjected to PLS analysis. Interestingly, ubiquity and compatibility seem to be not statistically significant for user satisfaction while availability, security and ease of use of VDI system are statistically significant. Task interdependence is found to be a relatively strong mediator between system user satisfaction and task performance, however, interestingly, the coefficient come out as negative. This may indicate that the influence of VDI user satisfaction on task performance would not be high in highly interdependent tasks. Considering that VDI is intended for supporting 'interdependence' in cooperative work, this finding is a bit surprising. In-depth discussions are made in the discussion followed by future research directions.
Ubiquitous computing is enhancing computer use by making many computers available throughout the physical environment without being noticed to the users. To facilitate successful adoption and diffusion of ubiquitous systems, it is important to find out the factors affecting their uses. Although researches related to ubiquitous computing have been vigorously conducted from the aspect of system and service provider, there have been very few studies that focus on the user's perspective. This study attempts to find out major factors which are dedicated to the development of ubiquitous systems and services and the relationships between these factors and user satisfaction factors. This study derived the specific factors that characterize ubiquitous services, such as ubiquity, contextual offer, user affinity, privacy, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. We also considered service quality factors of ubiquitous services. Then these factors were combined with the Expectation Confirmation Theory (ECT) model and the path analysis was applied to find out the factors affecting user satisfaction and the intention to use the systems. The research findings indicate that ubiquity, contextual offer, privacy, reliability, and responsiveness affect the perceived usefulness. The perceived ease of use and confirmation were found to affect the perceived usefulness. The perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and confirmation fumed out to influence the satisfaction. It turned out that the result of this study on the relationship between the perceived usefulness and user satisfaction was identical with the findings in previous related ECT researches. We think this study makes two significant contributions to the development of ubiquitous services. First, this study provides basic implications for better ubiquitous services by considering important characteristics of ubiquitous systems as services. Second, this study also suggests important factors that need to be considered when ubiquitous service providers develop new ubiquitous services to improve user satisfaction and the intention to use the services.

This study tested relationship between consumer's motivation for mobile shopping and their value of shopping, satisfaction, and repurchase intention. The result of the analysis deduced four factors in motivation for mobile shopping-: ubiquity, convenience, impulsiveness, and economic feasibility. The results indicated that motivation for mobile shopping and consumers' value of shopping have a significant influence on each other. Specifically, impulsiveness had a considerable influence on hedonic shopping value, whereas convenience had a significant influence on utilitarian shopping value. In addition, motivation for mobile shopping and value of shopping had a significant influence on consumer satisfaction and repurchase intention. To put it concretely, among the motives of mobile shopping, ubiquity is found to be the factor influencing consumer satisfaction and repurchase intention the most. Lastly, consumers' shopping value influences consumer satisfaction and revisiting intention significantly. This result provides useful base data for establishing distinctive marketing strategies in the rapidly growing mobile shopping market.
