The purpose of this paper is to develop ubiquitous systems based upon individual space in an apartment dwelling, which are called space-based systems in a ubiquitous Apartment. This research investigates the present technology-based ubiquitous systems in apartment design and also include the recent design themes such as 'well-being space' and 'flexible space' to develop Space-Based systems. The proposed the Space-based Systems are concretely applied in a characteristic dwelling unit of stepped level apartment with specific activity scenarios to demonstrate their actual realization. This paper also focuses on 'responsive systems' with automated actuators and sensors as well as on 'flexible infill systems' to accommodate various space needs.

Nowadays great changes arises from the digital environment and technology. And Also, our living environment are changes very rapidly. The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics and trends of future housing reference to ubiquitous housing cases in U.S.A, Japan and Korea. From these cases, reorganized ubiquitous-apartment elements are suitable to our housing environment. To search them, it is investigated to 4 ubiquitous housing examples, such as Aware Home, Toyota's PAPI, samsung raemian's housing gallery and GS E&C's apartment. In this study, we could get types and characteristics and planning elements of ubiquitous housings. The findings showed that many kinds of common network systems were suggested and were acted in limited spaces. In conclusion, it was considered as the one of the most suitable future housing type that had a special feature of the demands of residence and life with free accessibility of information and data. Especially, it is necessary to prepare for coming aging society.

The purpose of this study is to secure an evacuation time and to ensure safety by using an Ubiquitous Sensor Network computing when a fire breaks out at a super high-rise apartment housing. A super high-rise apartment housing that is a type of building to solve the problem of separation of the urban function and the phenomenon of hollowing out downtown has been on the increase, high-rise apartment housings occupying 52.7% of whole housings in 2005. However, if a fire breaks out, there would be serious damage since it accommodates many people and facilities as existence of vertical gigantism in the city. The architectural law in force has no clause on it which is universally applicable to general building, it is difficult to be applicable to a densely super high-rise apartment housing and there would be in danger of a resident's evacuation in the fire. Therefore, as a previous study to introduce an USN-based fire-warning facility and evacuation equipment, this study shows the improvement way after analyzing factors that are barriers to evacuaee's behavior of a super high-rise apartment housing and also shows establishment of the grade of vertical evacuation rank by SimuleX, one of the best computer simulation program.

With the sustainable development theory introduced, some planning factors, such as how to minimize bad effects on the environment and how to be more environmentally friendly, have been Integrated in planning the residential development. In addition, a new residential space concept, the ubiquitous home, arouse the interest of architects and residents. Although there have been many efforts to achieve the environment-friendly and convenient residence, the problem is that the environment-friendly architecture's many of the efforts have been primarily focused on the outside of the apartment units. Thus, the purpose of this study is to show possibilities of housing model not only being applied the environment-friendly construction concept to the inside of the apartment units, but also being integrated the ubiquitous home model inside.

Recently, inn the ubiquitous home where a variety of home devices and sensors are inter-connected, various services can be provided through wired and wireless networks invisibly. The convenience of users can be maximized by using intelligent and adaptive interoperability technologies in the home. In this paper, it is designed u-apartment that connected parking system of intelligental form and medical service system based on USN environment with existing apartment. Intelligental form parking system is designed specific structure architecture for effective improvement of parking space and medical service system propose a design about health management of future. In this paper, we propose integrated u-apartment design with parking system and medical equipment using RFID system in ubiquitous environment.

Recently, the smart phone, a carrying along terminal connection technology such as Galaxytap/iPad etc. evolves, and supply is increasing rapidly, is included for smart phone because various sensor technologies are developed and service application that is acted in terminal with this is accompanied and grow. Continuously 4 generation to 3 Gs, Wibro Wireless network technology of communications a LTE technology from that is constructed, environment for Ubiquitous realization is being constructed fast. Therefore, in this paper it can inquire state of electronic, furniture devices through apartment complex web server and gear that control groove network at smart phone, and control, and confirms home state prevention of crimes state, and video inquiry of position that CCTV is placed in apartment complex was available. And it proposed integrated smart apartment with parking system and medical system using RFID system in ubiquitous environment.

In this paper, the uAPSS(u-APartment Service System) that is based on location-aware technology is designed and implemented for a luxury apartment. On the real luxury apartment the developed system has been employed and tested to provide convenient and secure living for residents. It provides services such as emergency call, intelligent elevator operation, and hands-free door access based on the location of the residents with personal device as called smart tag. It can also be applied to other service areas such as the location-aware u-Service for hospitals, high-rising complex buildings, silver towns, etc.

Government is supporting development of home networking. But, this new system is much expensive to introduce in the home. And limit for establishment is so many in the home. Therefore, in this paper, We escape from monotonic control of Home Automation and draw a plan Intelligent Home Automation to be developed. We reflect Home Network to the foundation and propose Home Automation on Ubiquitous Sensor Network, We Design of Ubiquitous Home Automation System for 35-Pyung Apartment Based on USN Environment. This becomes the Home Automatic Behavior System which is executed to the automatic to be improved.

In this paper, we design a ubiquitous home automation system for Korean domestic 33-Pyung Apartment based on USN environment. The core of this home automation system is to give Home the 'Intelligence' so that the house can analyze and memorize the occurrences and react spontaneously on the user requirements by means of the World Model, USN, and LBS etc. Ultimately, the resident of this intelligent home might access all of these ubiquitous environments without any feelings about the equipments and peripherals. The methods of user identification, image recognition, and the ultrasonic sensors locations have been applied to Korean domestic 35-Pyung Apartment, but they will be easily generalized to be an extended model because of the flexibility of the World Model. which are confirmed by the imaginary scenario presented at the end of the main left.

Since the middle of 1990's, domestic apartment building suppliers have set up brand images to overcome the difficulties in financial situation after IMF foreign exchange crisis. The main trends in recent apartment buildings could be classified generally into several types, such as 'Ubiquitous Intelligent(standing for High-tech)', 'Walkable Community(community-friendly)', 'Eco-friendly', 'Ergonomic Humanity(Human Engineering)', 'e-easy Home through Internet(Digital Home)'. With those brand images, construction enterprises have been making inroads into local apartment markets, especially one of the region around Dae-gu. It is meaningful and worth researching and analyzing the local residents' preferences and tendencies to form marketing strategies of brand images. Here, this research and analysis is of pre-examination before getting down the study of this subject.
