  • RFID/USN is considered important basic infra of ubiquitous community and tried practical adaption through various research. Specially, there is during researcher progresses for stock and state management of logistics to let you get at u-mart systems. It discern thing from warehouse to deliver as adhere RFID tag of palette in keeping unit of article and construct form of thing to analyze information of environment status using sence module based on function of wireless communication. in the paper, propose composition of customer satisfaction system using RFID chip in u-Mart status management system based on RFID/USN and according to analysis specific information of commodity, propose movement reader device to offer real-time information from customer. And it presents the improvement program for the provision of product information which is appropriate uses the RFID chip and the provision of control information in the customer who is a core of consuming.

  • The Real Time Location System (RTLS) is very important in the ubiquitous society for real time tracking of men, high price assets, and logistics products. In this work, we developed an active RF system for RTLS and tested its performance. The RTLS system developed in this work was constructed of three active readers and one active tag. The small size tag developed in this work operated with a coin type battery. To make the tag smaller, we used an internal PCB antenna and a chip antenna. We tested the performance of the tag. To reduce the manufacturing cost of our RF system, we used low price RF transceiver CC2510 chip-set. The CC2510 chip-set provided RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indicator) signal which could be used to determine the distances between an active tag and three active readers.

  • The RFID Technology (which is importantly used at the Ubiquitous environment) is attached to all of the units like the ID cards and then information on the units and units' environment is transferred and processed through the radio frequency. so it is the no touched recognition system. RFID Technology's research of the middle ware and wireless interface etc. is currently conducted and variously broaden like the industry of the distribution and logistics. This paper suggests that the gate control system which is based on RFID middle ware is realized to prevent the district and facility for security. The indication of this paper is that algorithm (which is to certificate Users' enterance through RFID EPC code) is proposed and realizes the user certification module, the control module of the gates' opening and closing, the maintenance module of the gate, the display module of coming and going information, test program ect. through RFID technology.

Expansion of Sample OD Based on Probe Vehicle Data in a Ubiquitous Environment (유비쿼터스 환경의 프로브 차량 정보를 활용한 표본 OD 전수화 (제주시 시범사업지역을 대상으로))

  • Information collection systems and applications in a ubiquitous environment has emerged as a leading issue in transportation and logistics. A productive application example is a traffic information collection system based on probe vehicles and wireless communication technology. Estimation of hourly OD pairs using probe OD data is a possible target. Since probe OD data consists of sample OD pairs, which vary over time and space, computation of sample rates of OD pairs and expansion of sample OD pairs into static OD pairs is required. In this paper, the authors proposed a method to estimate sample OD data with probe data in Jeju City and expand those into static OD data. Mean absolute percentage difference (MAPD) error between observed traffic volume and assigned traffic volume was about 22.9%. After removing abnormal data, MAPD error improved to 17.6%. Development of static OD estimation methods using probe vehicle data in a real environment is considered the main contribution of this paper.

  • After the Davos Forum, the recent 4th Industrial Revolution has become an area of interest to countries around the world. Among the technologies of the 4th industrial revolution, the ubiquitous computing environment requires a convergence environment of various devices, networks, and software technologies, and the RFID technology that identifies objects among the IoT technology fields is applied to all industries and has a competitive edge. Systems to which RFID technology is applied are being used in various industrial fields, especially! It is efficiently used for accurate inventory management and SCM management in the field of distribution and logistics. If the RFID system is built in a cloud-based environment, it will be possible to secure reliability in distribution management in consideration of an effective logistics management system and economic feasibility. This study is a study on the RFID system in a cloud computing environment to reduce the cost of operating or maintaining an application server to improve the economy and reliability.

  • Construction supply chain management focused on materials in construction industry plays a critical role which controls the success and failure of a project. For the efficiency of construction supply chain management, the framework which provides project participants with the information originated from whole construction logistics steps without the omission and discontinuation of information flow is required. The new management framework that can support this environment is necessary because of setting up the complicated and distributed environment including logistics information management by intelligent equipment, co-working management with pre-framework legacy system and various devices(UMPC and PDA etc.) as the information confirmation and electrical transmission tool between the project participants different from former construction supply chain management environment while recently developing ubiquitous technologies such as RFID/USN and intelligent equipment to support logistics process. Therefore, the objective of this study is to introduce the concept of SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) as an alternative of effective information integration under the complex and distributed environment and to propose the SOA-based application model for building intelligent construction supply chain management framework.

  • Recently, a lot of research have been studied to apply wireless sensor networks to USN applications. The characteristics of USN applications is that they are varied according to the sort of sensors and sensing objects. They includes military applications, water pollusion monitoring, intelligent traffic system, farm, logistics, location position applications, and so on. There is no traditional method to classify these applications. In this paper, we propose a taxonomy scheme to classify USN applications. The criteria is based on 3 properties, the criticalness of services, the mobility of sensing entity, and the mobility of sensed objects, to classify them into 8 groups. We also describe the technical issues and related works in them. Our taxonomy can make USN applications to be easily understood and memorized.

  • Payment and security requirement are playing an increasingly critical role in RFID system, allegedly the core of the ubiquitous, especially in logistics. Therefore, security technology has been playing essential role gradually unlike the past when only the perception of equipment was considered important technology. The current encoding system allows the access only to the user who has the secret key. Many encoding algorithm has been studied to ensure the security of secret key. Security protocol is the most typical way to authorize appropriate user perception by using the data and secret key to proceed the encoding and transmit it to the system in order to confirm the user. However, RFID system which transmits more than dozens of data per second cannot be used if the algorithm and protocol of the existing wired system are used because the performance will degrade as a consequence. Security protocol needs to be designed in consideration of property of RFID and hardware. In this paper, a protocol was designed using SNEP(Sensor Network Encryption Protocol), the security protocol used for the sensor similar to RFID- not the current system used in wired environment- and ECC (Elliptic Curve Cryptography: oval curve encoding), the encoding algorithm.

  • 1856년 7월 7일 영국에서 에드워드 찰스 힐리와 에드워드 엘리스 알렌 (Edward Charles Healey & Edward Ellis Allen)에 의해 골판지가 처음 발명되었고, 15년후인 1871년 12월 19일에 현재의 골판지상자 형태의 특허가 미국의 알버트 L. 존스(Albert. L. Jones)에게 취득 된지 130여년이상이 지난 이 시대에는 실로 다양한 분야에서 골판지를 사용하고 있지만, 주 사용분야는 포장산업의 분야이다. 과거에는 포장의 주목적은 첫째 포장 내용물(상품)의 보호 둘째 상품의 운송과 적재 및 취급의 편리성 셋째 상품 구매동기 유발의 순서이었으나 최근에는 첫째와 둘째의 목적은 필수불가결한 것이고 세번째의 상품 구매동기 유발의 목적에 더 큰 비중이 있는 추세이다. 따라서 포장재의 규격은 생산자의 입장에서는 보다 단순해지고 규격화 되는 것이 생산코스트의 절감과 생산성 향상의 지름길이지만 (그러나 더욱 복잡해지고 비규격화 되는 것이 제품 부가가치가 더 높을 수도 있기 때문에 여기에는 보다 신중한 판단이 필요하다)각종 통신기술, 인터넷과 I.T산업의 발달과 더불어 소비자가 언제라도 상품의 다양한 정보에 쉽게 접할 수 있는 이시대에는, 다양한 소비계층의 NEED를모두 만족시켜 줄려고 하는 상품 개발자의 제품설계 및 개발과 판매전략에 의해 더욱 더 상품은 다양해지고 이에 따라서 포장재의 형태도 더욱 다양해지고 복잡해지고 있다. (필자의 판단으로는 앞으로 보다 더 다양해지고 복잡해지고 있는 추세이다.) 즉 다시 말하면 이러한 다양한 형태의 포장재의 변화를 수용하여, 가장 높은 가격 경쟁력으로, 적시에 가장 빠르게 생산하며 공급할 수 있는 능력을 갖춘 포장재 제조업자 만이 미래에는 적자생존 할 수 있다는 결론이다.
