The Application Service Model and Platform for Web Services Based on USN Application Developments (웹 서비스 기반의 USN 응용 개발을 위한 응용서비스 모델 및 플랫폼)

  • The advancement of computer network technology, coupled with the growing prevalence of Internet, is promoting ubiquitous computing, also called next-generation computing paradigm, as an important study field that many researches are joining and undergoing. In this paper, as the support technology for creating ubiquitous computer environment, we design the SSDLbased on XMLwhich is used for sending and receiving data by USN application service in a standardized form. A ref model, with no regard to different platforms or implementation languages, is proposed in our research on the basis of web service so that most of unspecified users could apply the standardized protocol designed for sensor data to real sensor data in various application environments based on the designed language. Therefore, through this research we can take advantage of acquisition of USN-based technology and technology draft related to application service.

  • This paper explains the design and implementation of the FDA(Fault Detection Agent) based on IP-USN. FDA is a system that is suitable for detecting software error for multimedia distance education running on home network environment based on IP-USN. This system consists of an ED, and ES. ED is an agent that detects an error by hooking techniques for multimedia distance education based on IP-USN environment. ES is an agent that is an error sharing system for multimedia distance education based on IP-USN environment.

  • USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network)는 환경 및 재난 관리, 에너지 관리, 의료 및 건강 서비스, 물류 및 유통관리 등의 다양한 분야에 응용될 수 있는 네트워크이다. USN은 저 전력으로 센싱 기능, 연산 및 네트워크 기능을 수행하는 초소형의 노드들이 한 지역에 분산되어 망을 구성하는데 USN의 노드들은 전력을 추가적으로 공급받지 못하므로 매우 제한된 전력을 이용하여 주어진 임무를 수행하여야 한다. 또한 노드의 고장으로 인해 토폴로지가 변경될 가능성이 크다. 이러한 특성 때문에 기존의 무선 ad hoc 네트워크를 위해 제안된 경로설정 기법들은 USN 환경에 적합하지 않다. 본 논문에서는 USN 노드의 전력 소비를 최소화함으로써 노드 생존시간을 최대화하기 위한 경로실정 기법을 제안하고 성능을 평가하였다.

  • Nowadays, the study is going on develop USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) with diffusion of the internet and development of computer network technology. USN sensor nodes equipped with various types of sensors provide sensor information to each individual sensors. To do this there needs standardized data description language for allowing many people to use based on XML in web services environment. In this paper, USN sensor information required for application services in a standardized form to describe the sensor data representation language was designed. USN-based technology utilized in the field, and will be utilized for service activation.

  • Recently, as the dissemination of the Internet and development of computer network technology, Research is actively underway for realization of the next-generation computing paradigm called Ubiquitous Computing. It will not be constrained by Space-time and It will be a cornerstone of human-oriented services. Such ubiquitous computing as a core technology for USN (Ubiquitous Sensor Network) is presented. In this paper, the sensor information into a standardized form to describe the information describing standards and USN sensor applications for the service standard for directory services protocols were investigated.

  • Recently, many researchers interested in core technology related to USN(Ubiqutious Sensor Network) with emerging Ubiqutious computing era. Especially, researched about various wireless telecommunication technologies such as ZigBee, Bluetooth, WLAN, CDMA, and various sensor nodes such as nano, Mote, and NeurFon are progressed in universities and research institutes of the world. In this paper, an advanced algorithm is proposed by analyzing problems of circumstance recognition and conventional real-time QoS of USN middleware technology. Finally, the performance of the proposed USN middleware is demonstrated through simulation.

  • Recently "Green IT" technology has been attracting public attention that the Ministry of Environment has come up with new plans to make "low carbon and green growth" technology and to promote u-City industries. Making an offer, Uubiquitous Service needs RFID/USN Middleware to handle heterogeneous RFID/USN devices in order to gather existing informations. In this paper, we propose the design and implementation of a dynamic management method for heterogeneous RFID/USN devices. In compliance with the paper I will furnish Uubiquitous Service regarding existing circumstances by handling heterogeneous RFID/USN devices such as new RFID/Sensor devices addition and deletion and so on.

  • 다양한 서비스에서 활용되는 USN 환경에서 각 응용의 기술적 특성에 따른 다양한 계층별 프로토코 기술의 개발이 이루어 지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 무선 센서 네트워크의 다양한 프로토콜 개발에 필수인 분석기에 대한 것으로 무선 상의 여러 채널을 통해 송수신 되는 다양한 프로토콜을 쉽게 분석하는 장치의 구현에 대해 설명한다. XML을 활용하여 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어의 코드를 바꾸지 않고 사용자 정의에 따른 프로토콜 분석, 시나리오 검증 및 GUI 처리를 가능하게 하여 USN을 위한 센서 노드들의 성능 측정에 활용하고자 한다.
