  • The objects, which can be personal digital assistants, electronic rings, doors or even clothes, offer embedded chips with computation facilities and are generally called artifacts. I later realized that this was not so the real problem is actually authentication. Recent results indicate scalability problems for flat ad hoc networks. Sensor network achieves function that handle surrounding information perception through sensor and sensed information to network that is consisted of sensor nodes of large number. Research about new access control techniques and height administration techniques need authentication information persons' certification assurance level classification in sensor network environment which become necessary different view base with authentication information at node for application of AAA technology in USN environment that must do authentication process using information that is collected from various sensor mountings. So, get base authentication information in sensor type and present weight grant model by security strength about authentication information through information who draw. In this paper collected information of sensor nodes model who give weight drawing security reinforcement as authentication information by purpose present be going to. and Must be able to can grasp special quality of each sensor appliances in various side and use this and decide authentication assurance level for value estimation as authentication information elements. Therefore, do to define item that can evaluate Authentication information elements thus and give simple authentication assurance level value accordingly because applying weight. Present model who give authentication assurance level value and weight for quotation according to security strength.

  • As ubiquitous environment rapidly emerges due to the development of network and information communication technology, ubiquitous computing is being noticed as a technology that will take the lead in information technology industry of the future. To the end, the data recognized from each sensors, collected, and processed need be transferred to applied service so that they may be used as data for providing service to users. But to send sensors data has weak points that are absence of applicate data accessibility and inter-operablities against difference platform and protocol, deficiency of meta-data and interface against sensors. In this paper, we designed and implemented sensors data processing system that send sensors data to application service via web service with definition against description language describe sensors service and data.

  • Recent advances in digital technology and diversified internet services have resulted in a rapid growth of research on monitering systems using embedded web servers in USN systems. In designing USN systems equipped with wireless sensor modules requiring extra power for heating sensors for their appropriate operations, excessive power consumption introduces inefficiency to the entire system. In this paper, using embedded systems in web environment, we develop a remote-monitoring system with VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) sensor signal, and propose a real time method of processing sensor-data streams by way of the serial bus from the sensor module in the USN system. The proposed system has an advantage of monitering the harmful gases on real-time basis and can be used semi-permanently by providing the sensor module with power through the serial bus. The harmful gas to be detected by the VOC sensor module is Toluene and the sensor module is composed of TGS-2602 VOC(Volatile Organic Compounds) sensors of FIGARO. The detected signal is transferred to the embedded web server using the RS-485 serial communication device. The proposed remote VOC monitering system is designed to coordinate in such a way that the VOC sensor module and embedded web server (EMPOS-II) work together effectively for real time monitering of harmful gases on the web at any places where the internet is connected.

  • Recently, wireless communication technology and state of art miniaturization has enabled the wireless sensor network with Smart Environmental sensors. The sensor network is a new field which has been researched vigorously in the ubiquitous computing and Ad-hoc network. How to efficiently use the limited energy in this USN(Ubiquitous sensor Networks) has been debated recently. We utilized the Directed Diffusion and Gossiping concept which is based on the Large scale Glass greenhouse and present a method to prolong the lifespan of the sensor network by operating variable time based this routing information on the average energy leftover. In this paper, we present a method to minimize the energy consumption of sensor node within Glass greenhouses and ensure a stable network operation at the same time through energy efficient routing among sensor nodes.

  • The building infrastructures such as high-rise buildings, shopping malls, exhibition centers, etc. are becoming larger in magnitude and more complex in complexity. Considering a large number of tenants and visitors are staying in these facilities, it is upper most important to keep those in safe from fire outbreak. In this paper, a u-Disaster Prevention System has been presented to provide effective fire evacuation when fire breaks out in building infrastructures. The ubiquitous sensor network (USN) technology was applied to detect heat and smoke from fire outbreak. The information then is transmitted wirelessly to a host computer. The tenants and visitors residing in the facility can evacuate following the instruction that is displayed in LED sign boards of the u-Disaster Prevention System. A case study shows that the ubiquitous environment can help people evacuate faster in time, shorter in distance with the assistance of the u-Disaster Prevention System.

  • Advances in electronic and computer technologies have paved the way for the proliferation of WSN(wireless sensor networks). Accordingly, necessity of anti-collusion and authentication technology is increasing on the sensor network system. Some of the algorithm developed for the anti-collision sensor network can be easily adopted to wireless sensor network platforms and in the same time they can meet the requirements for sensor networks like: simple parallel distributed computation, distributed storage, data robustness and auto-classification of sensor readings. To achieve security in wireless sensor networks, it is important to be able to establish safely channel among sensor nodes. In this paper, we proposed the USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) channel establishment algorithm for sensor's authentication and anti-collision. Two different data aggregation architectures will be presented, with algorithms which use wavelet filter to establish channels among sensor nodes and BIBD (Balanced Incomplete Block Design) which use anti-collision methods of the sensors. As a result, the proposed algorithm based on BIBD and wavelet filter was made for 98% collision detection rate on the ideal environment.

  • Machine to machine (M2M) communication is a converged ICT(Information and Communications Technology) platform which can utilize communications services among people and things anytime, any place in realtime. The M2M platform consists of three components; M2M area networks sensing and generating data of things by various sensors and devices; public networks transporting those data; and M2M applications utilizing the aggregated data. There exist however two practical obstacles to realize the M2M communications in terms of interoperability between the WCDMA-based public network and the local networks based on W-Fi or ZigBee; one is the cost problem required to access the public network, and the other is the lack of a cost-effective modem or gateway to connect two different networks. In this paper, we proposed and implemented a novel M2M platform based on PWW (Person Area Network) which can resolve those two issues by using a proposed gateway connecting the local network and smartphones as application devices without access the WCDMA-based public network. We have shown that the proposed platform is very practical to adopt to the real environment by actual testing with the own developed smartphone applications.

The purpose of this work is to suggest prosperous applications of RFID, which is applicable on marine information system, such as ship inventory management, management of container and its contents, sensing of environments within cargo hold, management of fishery boats. In case that RFID technology is utilized on marine information systems, it makes safety at sea and marine environments protection.

  • The conventional monitoring system for water pollution measurement is quite simple and independent and it has a lot of draw backs such as cost, installation, etc. So, in this paper, we have measured the water pollution system through a bacterial species, photobacterium phosphoreum. A novel integrated monitoring system technology has been developed which could easily dictate and analyze the major water pollutants and its surrounding environment in an accurate way. The system constitutes of bionic technology, information technology and environmental engineering technology. As a result, integrated monitoring system can observe the water pollution and various water environment of the whole country. Also, through the sensors of USN, Zigbee, RFID and middle ware, which can provide service and construct service platform, a properly standardized plan with remarkable service platform has been established through this investigation.
