  • In EMC(electromagnetic compatibility) certification, the facilities and equipments have been considered as important qualification for registration of EMC certification business. In future, the certification environment is also supposed to be restricted Strictly. Many organizations have made on attempt to establish, certification environment as a international standard. Therefore, in order to enhance the competitive powers of domestic certification industry, a real-time system which can be measure automatically and remotely the temperature, humidity, illumination, CO/CO2, magnetic field, and human sensing is proposed in this paper. This system can also maintain the appropriate measurement environment by using USN (ubiquitous sensor network). The availabilities are confirmed through the experiment.

  • RFID and USN are major technology in Ubiquitous. RFID is an automatic identification method, relying on storing and remotely retrieving data using devices called RFID tags or transponders through RFID reader. USN is wireless sense network and monitoring environment conditions that is temperature, noise, pressure, oscillation. In this paper, we propose wireless sensor network system that is monitoring to optimize environment conditions.

  • The workplace environment monitoring system based on IP-USN proposed in this study measures and analyzes workplace environment information so as to provide services to provide better work environment and prevent occupational accidents caused by poor, shabby labor environment. This study presents the procedures to design and develop a system that monitors noise, humidity, vibration, temperature, and sensors installed in the workplace and sounds alarm when workers enter dangerous areas or are exposed to hazards. The author actually installed the IP-USN workplace environment monitoring system in a small workplace and confirmed its effectiveness.

  • There are many efforts toward the development of next generation gas safety management systems to improve the assurance, availability, and efficiency of the extant systems. Among them, the application of ubiquitous technology, such as RFID and USN, to the system is regarded as a promising approach for enabling such an innovation. Recently the ubiquitous technology became much affordable and available than before thanks to the reduced production cost and wide proliferation of the ubiquitous devices. In this paper, we analyze the core requirements for the next generation gas safety management systems based on the ubiquitous technology, and present an architectural design of a middleware to facilitate the realization of the system. We formally define an event model and present how to specify various situations related to gas safety management using the proposed event model.

  • RWe have developed an infrared temperature monitoring system to measure the temperature of hot iron plate in very harsh environmental conditions as iron making equipment. We performed extensive field test for 3 months at the front side of iron plate rolling process of POSCO in Gwang-Yang. From the experimental test, we have confirmed the reliability of the developed system. We adjust the curve fit method to solve the non-linearity equations of A2TPMI sensor, and establish the under $1[^{\circ}C]$precision ratio and 25[msec] process speed each range. As experimental, we have confirmed the reliability of an infrared temperature monitoring system as POSCO test result and CAN network traffic monitoring of polling method.

  • Recently, as shown demands and the need for Cloud dig data, large-scale data centers, as well as factory unit's have also vigor. This study focuses the system design that can integrate various facilities on the data center build upon of the factory and the midsize group. Because the integrated facilities management of midsize groups should have variety of sensors and devices requires integrated monitoring system that can manage them as a whole. In this study, it constitutes a integrated model protocol interface of the various facilities, it suggests ways to avoid the errors that may occur during design to study the development and systematically carried out. For this purpose, this study provides the analysis of a failure information delivery time and integration scenario for efficient analysis and evaluation of an integrated monitoring system.

  • In a ubiquitous sensor network (USN) with several nodes, real-time data processing is one of important factors. In order to process data appropriately, all the nodes should transmit sensor data in time and the transmission between nodes and their server should be managed very systematically. For the purpose of systematic management of transmission in a USN, this paper proposes a system for analyzing transmission time of sensor data. To implement the proposed system, an analyzing process of data transmission time, an analyzing method of clock drift, a collecting method of data send/receive times, and calculating formulas of data transmission duration are proposed. According to the proposed process and methods, this paper presents a system for monitoring and analyzing data transmission duration, and it also shows the results of a sample case.

  • This paper introduces a health monitoring system based on a wireless sensor network for weapon asset. This system can estimate the remaining lifetime and decide what should be done and when should it be done using the environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity and shock for weapon assets by sensor tag. And we describes its operating scenario and routing method for this system. Finally we introduce the developments of the sensor tag, portable reader, gateway and monitoring server.
