Purpose The number of Tablet PC users has recently increased in steep, which started to offer media companies more opportunities to enter into a new business field. Based on Information System Success model, this study finds that tablet magazine's quality factors influence perceived usefulness, user satisfaction and intention of continuous use. Design/methodology/approach We conducted a survey for 20-40's Tablet PC users. After pilot study, we analyzed the main survey data by using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0, and employed structural equation modeling to test the hypotheses. Findings Our research results are summarized as follows : First, information quality has a positive impact on user satisfaction, but not on perceived usefulness. Second, service quality has a positive impact on perceived usefulness, but not on user satisfaction. Third, perceived usefulness positively influences user satisfaction. Fourth, user satisfaction positively influences the intention of continuous use. In particular we found that Tablet PC usage experience had a moderating effect on the relationship between perceived usefulness and user satisfaction.

The Internet is flourishing and the World Wide Web is growing at an exponential rate. A fundamental concept of Intranet, the so-called second wave, was introduced only a few years ago. Intranets have been embraced by corporate users of information services and made substantial inroads in strategic vision documents and procurement practices. Business organizations have come to the conclusion that they require an extensive data repository in order to acquire a competitive advantage in a dynamically change market. This rich assortment of data must further be delivered and deliverable enterprise-wide in a secure and cost-efficient manner. Information technology(IT) has created the Intranet as a vitally important mechanism for the storage, dissemination, and even the analysis data. The present study is an attempt to develop a more through understanding of the potential and actual impact of the Intranet on organizational functions and activities. Expecially, it also consists of an effort to assess the impact of the Intranet on communication. The research also addresses the issue of how the Intranet affects communication and shapes or modifies business activities. The results of literature review and study revealed that middle managers believe that the extent of the Intranet use is significantly related to improvements in overall organizational functions and activities. While communication, decision-making, productivity, work collaboration, and business activities are all enhanced by Intranet use, communication appears to be most dramatically improved by Intranet use.

Current computer viruses are one of the most serious problems in information age due to their potential demage and impact on use of information systems. To make the problem worse, virus development technology has been advanced rapidly, and use of network systems has expanded widely. Therefore computer viruses are much more complex and use of anti-virus software(AV S/W) is not enough to prrevent virus incidents. It implies that computer viruses as well as other information security matters are not solely a technical problem but also a managerial one. This study emphasized on computer virus controls from managerial perspective of information security and investigated factors influencing the effectiveness of computer virus controls. Organization's comprehensive security policies provide guidelines on how organization or individual can protect themselves from computer viruses. Especially, user's education has positive impact on user's security related characteristics. Based on the analysis of research model using structural equation modeling technique, security policies were influencing security controls and improving user's computer viruses related awareness. Also security controls had positive impact on security effectiveness. However, no significant relationship was found between user's security related characteristics and security effectiveness.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the hydrological impact due to temporal land cover change by gradual urbanization of upstream watershed of Pyeongtaek gauging station of Anseong-cheon. WMS HEC-1 was adopted, and OEM with 200 m resolution and hydrologic soil group from 1:50,000 scale soil map were prepared. Land covers of 1986, 1990, 1994 and 1999 Landsat TM images were classified by maximum likelihood method. The watershed showed a trend that forest & paddy areas decreased and urban/residential area gradually increased during the four selected years. The model was calibrated at 2 locations (Pyeonglaek and Gongdo) by comparing observed with simulated discharge results for 5 summer storm events from 1998 to 2001. The watershed average CN values varied from 61.7 to 62.3 for the 4 selected years. To identify the impact of streamflow by temporal area change of a target land use, a simple evaluation method that the CN values of areas except the target land use are unified as one representative CN value was suggested. By applying the method, watershed average CN value was affected in the order of paddy, forest and urban/residential, respectively.

Based on the success model and Expectation Confirmation model of information system, the concept model of mobile bus payment App users' willingness to continue using is constructed by introducing function quality and interface design quality. A total of 264 valid questionnaires are obtained by issuing online questionnaires, and the model is tested by SmartPLS3.0 software The results show that users' perceptions of information quality, system quality and interface design quality will affect users' perceived usefulness and satisfaction through the scene, and then affect users' willingness to continue to use; Perceived functional quality has a significant impact on perceived usefulness, but has no significant impact on satisfaction. Perceived usefulness has a significant impact on user satisfaction.

Previous research has empirically demonstrated the negative effects of social media use on young people's psychological well-being. Unlike most previous studies that focused on either Facebook or Instagram, this study comparatively examined the differences in upward comparison and its effects on self-esteem, life satisfaction, and depression between Facebook and Instagram. An analysis of survey data from 641 Korean college students, who reportedly use these two social media more actively than any other age group, found that college students experience more upward comparisons on Instagram than on Facebook. Upward comparisons on both Facebook and Instagram increased by college students' age and weekly usage time. Upward comparisons on Instagram increased by the additional factors of gender (females more than males) and number of "followings." Subsequently, the effects of upward comparison on psychological well-being were found to differ by social media platform. Upward comparisons were found to negatively impact all determinants of psychological well-being only on Instagram, but not on Facebook. The differences in upward comparison and its impact on young users' psychological well-being found in this study were discussed in terms of the different functional characteristics of the two social media platforms, which provides direction for further research needed to establish guidelines for healthy social media use by young people.

This study analyzed the impact of expectations congruence, usefulness, ease of use, and interaction on the satisfaction of learners who participated in distance learning. For this purpose, a survey was conducted targeting students taking remote classes operated by universities after COVID-19. The survey was conducted online using learning management system notices and mobile notifications at the end of remote classes. The research results are as follows. First, expectation confirmation was found to have a significant effect on satisfaction. Second, usability was found to have no significant effect on satisfaction. Third, ease of use was found to have a significant effect on satisfaction. Fourth, interaction was found to have the greatest impact on satisfaction. This study analyzed the impact on satisfaction with university distance learning after COVID-19. Based on the research results, it is necessary to specify teaching strategies such as supporting a distance learning environment optimized for learners and strengthening interaction.
